Quite close to main bus terminal and S-Bahn station Hackerbrücke. Comfortable bed, enormous tv which offers more than free to air. Breakfast on site available, also a bakery 2 doors down the street. Close to Italian and Turkish restaurants, also Augustiner Keller.

Shower cabin was small and difficult to get in and out of. Sharp corner in vicinity of bathroom light switch could lead to injury. Overall the lights in the room wasn’t quite strong enough.

Room had different amenities, breakfast was really good.

Breakfast system was very strange: I came for breakfast and then went to toilet, when I returned I was told that I have already had breakfast and cannot have more. So, I had to explain that I didn’t have the breakfast. So, very inconvenient and stupid system for getting the breakfast

The family room was very good a spacious & the balcony was amazing too. The location is realy good especially in front their is an Italian restaurant which is realy good( we ate their 3 time in 5 days) and round the corner their is a shopping complex which is realy good too.

One of the double bedrooms that I booked was too small and the bath towels never changed if though we put them on the floor because they were dirty, we found them folded back again :/ & the coffee machine was too old that it got stucked all the time we used it and no packets were replaced for us to use again :/ and int one of the double bedroom their was no coffee machine too.

Great value for money if you are exploring Munich; really close to Theresienwiese and the Underground Station - as a solo female traveller I felt very safe in the are and walking to and from the station at night. Lots of restaurants and bars around the area, while still being quiet and safe. Breakfast was included and plentiful - huge selection of meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, fruits, yoghurts etc. You could easily fill up on food and skip lunch making this even more of a bargain city break!

The tiny room (which was plenty of space for 1 person) got really hot even though I stayed in February. I slept with the windows open. Fan or air con would've been good!

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Munich City! The place was very clean, and the breakfast was a highlight—delicious with a great variety of local German dishes to choose from. The location was also convenient, just a 40-minute walk from Marienplatz, making it easy to explore the city. Highly recommended for a comfortable and authentic Munich experience!

I found the lighting in the room to be insufficient, as the main light was behind the curtains, and one of the bedside lamps was broken. Additionally, the heater/radiator didn’t seem to produce enough heat, which made the room feel a bit chilly. Despite these issues, it was still a decent stay overall.

Basic hotel close by the town center and the main train station, walking distance. Room had all that we needed. Comfortable beds, nice shower. Parking is a struggle. If you can even find a spot, it is paid except for late at night. We were blessed to have been given a ticket from someone that was leaving that was paid until next morning. So much love. Otherwize, it'll be pricey to park in the garages nearby. Better if you come by train. There is breakfast included which was really great. Many warm and cold options, great bread, lots of coffee. If anything, it will be good to book it just for the breakfast. Breakfast staff is nice and keeps all items stocked very well. Munich is not my vibe. Isn't much to do. The mood of the reception staff seems to be aligned with that :D cheer up guys! <3

Perfect location, easy access to the railway station, as well as few other metro stations and trams. The breakfast was really great, everyone could find suitable options: from omelette with a sausage to bread or oatmeal. I want to especially thank the staff at the restaurant during breakfast. They were super helpful and friendly. They reacted immediately if someone couldn’t find a free table, or when the glasses were about to end .

The room was rather small, but we have just travelled with our rucksacks, so for us it was enough. The cleaning was very poor, during our stay they didn’t wipe the floor once. The Russian neighbours next door were extremely loud at night fighting, we couldn’t sleep properly two nights.

I don't understand the bad reviews this hotel gets. I was pretty affraid reading the comments before my arrival, but everything was just okay. Yes, some of the facilities were dated, but I arrived to a clean room which had everything I needed. The cleaning service came everyday. I only heard some noise from the corridor, but not from the neighbor rooms. The breakfast was great and something I looked forward every morning. The location was also fine, I like to walk so I was okay with 30 minute walk to the centre, 15 minute walk to the train station, bus station is even nearer and there is a great local Augustiner brewery 5 minutes from the hotel. So I give this hotel an excellent review to balance the bad comments here. It is really a nice hotel. Good value for the money.

Everything was fine.

The hotel was well located, quite close to an S Line Train that made it easy to get around Munich with ease. The staff were friendly and able to help out with any issues. Decent price for time of year. Room was cleaned and bathroom replenished for the duration of our stay.

The room was very warm throughout the stay. The hotel provided a fan for the room, but even with this we found it difficult to sleep some nights, something to be aware of if staying during summer

The mattress is very comfortable! I also love the location, so close to the bus station and walkable to the center. Supermarket close by. Nice checkout time of 11am. I didn't use the hairdryer but I was happy to find one in the room, and a good one at that (not those cheap useless ones). And the shampoo smells great!

Little wear and tear here and there. Shower is very small. Would have liked some information on checkout time as I relied on booking.com for checkout time but who knows, maybe it changed.
