We had a very comfortable stay! The room had everything we needed, from flip-flops to a bottle opener, microwave, coffee machine, plates, and more. It was incredibly cozy, spotlessly clean, and everything felt new and in perfect condition. The location was fantastic—right in the proper city center. The metro station was just a 3-minute walk away, but we didn’t even need it as all the main attractions were within walking distance. A special shoutout to our host, Irini, who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. She was very responsible, helpful, and provided us with great tips for our trip. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic 2 night stay at this lovely apartment in the heart of Athens. The location couldn’t have been better, just steps away from Syntagma Square (where the metro is located), Ermou Street for shopping, and a variety of excellent restaurants and coffee shops. The apartment itself was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, which made our stay with our 3 year old very comfortable and convenient. The room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Irene, the manager, was excellent and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Her hospitality truly made our visit feel extra special! We highly recommend Astikon for anyone visiting Athens. It’s a perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and excellent service! We’ll definitely return the next time we are in Athens.

the rooms were modern, cozy and clean. The best feature is the location, right in the center of the city with easy access to all the main attractions. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The only unexpected detail was the access to the building which is old and somewhat unassuming. We had some minor problems with the elevator once.

Our host, Irini, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She kindly offered to store our luggage before our check-in time at 3 pm, and the same courtesy was extended to us when we checked out. Irini allowed us to extend our check-out by one hour and also kept our luggage until we left for the airport. This saved us the extra cost of renting a luggage box around the city. Additionally, the accommodation was exceptionally clean and brand new. The mattress was also new and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Furthermore, the location was excellent. The soundproof window was very good and important to us as the traffic in Athens is heavy.

One evening, although not late, we encountered some disturbance from guests in the room adjacent to ours who were speaking loudly with their door open. I had to kindly ask them to lower their volume. We could also hear that their TV was ON but we did not complain again. They were a family occupying two rooms.

The hotel was perfect for my partner and I and my parents in two separate rooms! The facility was very clean and newly updated. Irini was so helpful from start to finish. She checked in with us before we arrived to make sure the rooms were ready and she was there to walk us through, she recommended great restaurants and activities and help facilitate a ride to the airport. The hotel was right in Plaka so walking distance to everything you’d want to do in Athens. Overall it was amazing!

Our only complaint would be the blankets on the bed were a bit thin so we were a little cold at night but adding an extra blanket or thicker one could remedy that right away!

Irini is super- friendly and helpful. They contacted me before our arrival and arranged everything to make sure we checked in smoothly. We had a very warm welcome and the apartment is spotless clean and comfortable and stylish. The location is just perfect— next to syntagma square and every main attraction is in a walkable distance which is very important in a hot day. There’s lots of restaurants, bars and stores around which is very convenient. The apartment was cleaned and new towels supplied in every two days — but you can ask for it when you need, the reply is always in a second and super friendly. We are very happy for our stay — my son said we should rate it 11 out of 10 and surely would recommend it (not only because Irini prepared balloons and chocolates for his late-birthday which is super kind🥰☺️😊）

Astikon Hotel in Athens boasts the perfect location, but what truly made our stay remarkable was the incredible service provided by Irini. Even before our arrival, Irini was helpful and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed. Upon arrival, she personally welcomed us, guided us through everything step by step, and even provided her direct number in case we needed anything at all. On our last day, with our flight not until 8 pm and the heat being intense, Irini generously offered to look after our luggage until our departure and even arranged a taxi for us. The service was truly exceptional. The hotel's brilliant location and exceptional cleanliness further enhanced our experience. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you, Irini—we will definitely be back next year!

That there wasn't a clothes line and we couldn't stay longer. Everything else was exceptional.

Perfect location. Walking distance to all popular attractions in Athens. Monastaraki square, Plaka district, Ermou Street, Syntagma square... All very close. It is very close to the metro and bus to reach the airport very easily. The attention and communication of the staff is excellent. They have an excellent employee named Chryssa. The room is very large and spacious. It is very clean and has everything you need. Modern and perfectly decorated. We stayed in the comfort of a five-star hotel.

The room we stayed in had a balcony, but there was no door leading to the balcony :)

Very clean, modern room, comfortable beds, well-working wifi, tv, spacious bathroom. Very good location within easy reach from metro. Rather accessible. Exceptionally nice staff who even took note of our birthday and organized us a little surprise.

The only shortcoming was a window with no view (concrete wall), but that is commonplace in older buildings in the centres of Greek cities. So no actual complaints whatsoever.

WOW! This place was an absolute gem!!! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Irini, the host, who was simply delightful and went out of her way to make our stay exemplary. We loved the accomodation so much we booked the suites twice during our stay in Athens.

As a family we couldn’t really find many faults. The only small issue was the need for extra towel rails in the bathroom, especially when you have 4 family members using the bathroom. Finally, the signage for the suites could’ve been more visible upon arrival.
