We chose this hotel for 1 night in Athens due to it's location and we were not disappointed. It was a walking distance to the metro station (from/to the airport), to all sightseeing places we wanted to visit, hop-on/hop-off bus stop, shops and restaurants. We wanted to be able to store our luggage after the early arrival and it worked very well. The room was simple, but comfortable for the short stay aimed at sightseeing. The hotel is a bit aged, but it keeps serving a purpose to budget tourists quite well. It is located in the area with many other hotels, what makes the neighborhood pretty safe even at night. The breakfast was OK and enough good for us. I believe some travelers might want to add 2-3 EUR/pp and have some more choice, but breakfast in Greece is not as important after all.

Rooms could be painted fresh. A tiny balcony seemed to be not quite safe for sitting on. A strange bath with the shaped seat in it was not quite functional neither as a bath nor as a shower.

Nice quiet location with good access to all the main sights of Athens which we covered on foot. But also close to Syntagma metro if you needed it. Breakfast was basic but good value for the money and also a convenient start to the day before heading out to explore the city. Room was great for our 5 night stay and was serviced each day.

I really can't think of anything we didn't like. If I am being very fussy maybe some information in the room about the local area and places to visit.

I’ve booked this place for my mother, she did a visit to Athens after long time for a concert. The results was that she was very happy with the facilities and location. She told me also the stuff was very polite and they were there to help anytime if needed. In conclusion I will recommend this hotel to anyone who asks me. Ps. Someone mention at the ratings about poor breakfast which is not the case. My mother told me there was more than enough for breakfast. (If you, the guy that made the rating thinks that he can eat salmon or caviar at breakfast , I tell you now if you don’t know, there are many options my friend you can very easy pay 500-1000€ per night and ask for anything you like).

The hotel is good overall, with some room for improvement. The location is great, and the room was clean. However, the breakfast needs work—limited choices and some items weren’t the best quality. The showers could also be upgraded; they’re too small, even though the water pressure is good, making showers less enjoyable. On the plus side, the mini-fridge had drinks at fair prices. In short, it’s a good stay, but the breakfast and showers could be better.

Location, they had cold drinks available, a fridge, aircon, it was walking distance to everything. breakfast was adequate, the same every day, there was a table and chair and adequate power points to charge

The rooms were tiny, the small balcony was in direct sunlight most of the day so unusable. I like a room that I come back to and chill out but not with this one. My fault. I should have checked the size. There were plenty of people staying there so it suits a type of traveller.

Perfect location, very friendly and helpful staff, after problems with AC, they did everything to accommodate and changed rooms. Exceptionally clean. Room might be on smaller side if traveling together for a longer period (I was alone, for a week, perfect for me).

The only issue I had - sometimes did not put shower curtain correctly and had water going from shower, but that is a user error, not hotels fault.

The location is very good and close to all places to visit. The restaurants, cafes all within walking distance. The closest metro under 10 mins walk.

Most staff very helpful and friendly but I did experience poor service from one once. The breakfast options could have been better. The facilities could do with some improvement.

The location is perfect to go around on foot. We were also unexpectedly lucky and landed a room with a balcony (which we didn't explicitly request) so we could relax in the evenings with a view of the Acropolis. The air conditioning was fantastic, as well as the fridge with drinks next to the reception. The staff were super nice and helpful. The breakfast was humble but nevertheless satisfying.

It's quite an old building so there was a distinct lack of electrical sockets in the room. We had to kind of plan which electronics we wanted to charge and when so be prepared for that.

The price is comparatively low. The location is excellent. Closed to city of center (Syntagma). Easy access to all attractions by Metro or bus. The main shopping area (Ermou) and flea market is closed by and in walking distance. Many restaurants and supermarket around the corner. There are many expensive hotels around this area as well. Breakfast is good but no hot food. Many different varieties of hot coffee provided. Our room is pretty big with balcony. We did wind dry our laundry in 1 day. I love the bathtub with seat and high showering water pressure makes you release tiredness. The staff very helpful to respond customer request.

The hotel is not fancy and looked old without renovation. In consideration of the price, this is an excellent hotel to stay.

Although this hotel is quite a basic one, I am giving it an excellent rating mainly due to the fact that it is in the perfect area for wandering thru Athens enjoying the sights, sounds, stores, Acropolis and ruins, and restaurants. It is also very reasonable which is a plus. We were there for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. Hotels in this area get booked up very quickly and this hotel was no exception. Small fridge in the room came in handy for putting some fruit, drinks etc to enjoy. Breakfast was basic but had everything we needed to kick start our morning. We stayed at this hotel at the end of our few weeks in Greece and found it so easy to walk there from the subway. Upon leaving Athens, we walked up to take the subway to the airport which was truly a plus as taxi costs have increased in the few days after the one days strike. Athens is very reasonable and fast.

I think it would be great for the hotel to install coffee-tea makers in the room. Our room only had one electrical plug in the room so in order to have a coffee-tea station, more electrical plugs would need to be installed.
