Courteous, kind host. Superb facilities including Coco Mat mattress and pillows. Wonderful large shower area with high quality shower. Funky interior decor. In an excellent location to explore both harbour and Old Town. The apartment was spotless. Great thought had been put into everything. In terms of hosting my host could not have been nicer or more attentive. I know Chania well but he gave me a list of excellent places for breakfast, dinner, cocktails. His communication with me was fast and clear. I must also mention that there are black out blinds behind lovely curtains. There are also excellent toiletries available. I highly recommend this lovely suite for a wonderful relaxing break in an excellent location within Chania.

Not a criticism but I would like a handle on both wardrobe and cover of fridge. as I have arthritis. d. These are suggestions only. I will definitely be returning to this beautiful suite.

The location is perfect, very quiet, even though very central within the area of the ancient fortress and acropolis. It is an elevated location with a nice view from the balcony over the neighbouring buildings and an excavation site, sunshine all afternoon. The bed is very comfortable, a bit soft for people with spine problems. Coffee and bath utensils etc. are perfect, but not for more than making a minimal breakfast. The interior is fancy, modern, by some designer, as it seems. Heating is very effective.

The room is relatively narrow due to the room separator with the fridge and the washbasin unit outside of shower and toilet. This is a bit inconvenient. Also, in winter, a chair or stool in the room would be nice to have, but on the small balcony we could sit at the table in the January evening sun and warm up

The host, Nikos, was active, energetic and very helpful. Right off the bat, as we arrived, he showed us around the room and sent us great recommendations for meals around the place. We were also given a bottle of wine as a welcome gift which was very thoughtful. The room was very spacious, and had all the amenities one could need. It was cleaned every day and the housekeeping staff maintained it well. The place is located very closed to Chania harbour and the old town is accessible by foot, making it a very comfortable place to stay at for tourists.

Outstanding and perfect location! We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and some delicious treats. The room was clean and had very nice, modern decor! Access to Netflix and other streaming services was also a big plus! The host was exceptionally helpful; he met us in person and took the time to explain how everything in the room worked, as well as which places we should visit in the area. He also texted us all the recommendations so we wouldn’t forget them. Huge bonus points for that! I would definitely choose this place again if I return to Chania!

Everything was perfect, but perhaps a little more space to hang wet clothes and towels from the beach would be nice

Everything was perfect from comfort to cleanliness and experience. There was hot water 24/7 the bath was full of space, the bed was extra confy. I even used the coffee machine and the small snacks (nuts and chocolate) for breakfast. I didn't even missed anything. Nicos was a great guy very polite and friendly, he recommended us some places in chania amd when we told him that we are visiting Rethymno he recommended us some places there also. Everything was great! If I'm visiting Chania I will stay at Agave Suites for sure! I recommend!!!

Excellent location , easy to access, there's place for parking and very quiet area in general especially at night. A big thank you to Mr Nicos who had communicate with us hours before the check in time, he was very helpful and polite. He even let us stay up to 12 at noon for check out. In our room which was really big and comfortable we were greeted with a tasty white wine, some nuts and 2 small chocolates. The coffee machine was very useful. The beds are big and comfortable. We found the technology in the room very fascinating. The suite was on ground floor which made it easy to access. I would gladly book the same one in future visit in Chania.

I wish there was a balcony too. It would be nice if there was a second chair, some teaspoons and a beer opener. Also a kitchen towel, a hook to place it on and a small dish dryer rack to place the dishes and glasses until the try. This could be placed inside the very big sink, on the top of half or the corner of the sink. It would be nice also to have some ice cubes ready at least in summer season. The jacuzzi is big and comfortable but takes too long to fill it with water. Also the water was not as strong as it should be while working and it's a bit noisy.

The location of the accommodation was perfect. In the old town and just a two minute walk from the port area with all the bars & restaurants. Plus it’s only a 15 minute walk to the beach. Perfect! The room was immaculate. I cannot fault the cleaning at all. The presentation of the room was very modern and it had absolutely everything we needed. The host Nikos was very friendly and helpful. We had absolutely no issues at all with this accommodation and would highly recommend it to anyone! We’re already talking to re-book the same place on our return visit to Chania.

Nikos was a great host. I came here with my husband for our honeymoon and it was both of our first times visiting Crete. Our flight arrived around midnight and to our surprise, Nikos was outside our accommodation ready to greet us. He took the time to settle us in to our room and also sent through a list of recommendations for beaches, coffee, food etc. The room was spacious, clean and had nice natural light. We hired a car during our stay and visited Balos beach and Falasarna beach (highly recommend!). Street parking can be a bit tricky to find but thankfully we were able to reserve a parking spot with the accommodation.

Last August we stayed in Agave Suites while our summer vacation and we have nothing but positive things to say about it. The room exceeded our expectations: it's spacious, very clean and well decorated. It has a nice balcony and the street is very quiet, so you will have privacy and silence while still being 1 minute away from the heart of Chania. The room is also full of useful amenities (iron, hairdryer, air coinditioner... there was even a hair straightener!), and the bed is extremely confortable. The housekeeper gave us fresh bottled water everyday and there was a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Another great thing of Agave Suites is that it has private parking right next to the building, which was surprising since most hotels in the area don't. The parking might look tight at first if you are not used to your rental car, but once you get the hang of it you will see it's not difficult at all. Finding parking in Chania is quite impossible, so having a parking place in the hotel was a game changer for us (just make sure to book it in advance because there are limited places). However, if I had to choose the best thing Agave Suites has to offer, that would be its incredible host Nikos. Right after the check in, he gave us some amazing recommendations for restaurants and places to visit that are not easily found on the internet; he also got us a table at a couple restaurants that were fully booked, and even brought us some medicine one night I was not feeling well. We are very thankful for his permanent attention and for making our trip so much easier, I can definitely say he is the best host we have ever had. We do not know when we will be going back to Chania, but we are 100% sure that when we do, we will be staying in Agave Suites again.

Nothing bad to say, everything was perfect!

It was clean, spacious and modern and the location was excellent. We had the corner room in the front which had a great spacious balcony. The air conditioning worked really well which is a big plus for summer visitors since the room is facing south, thus getting sun all day. The owner went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable by providing lots of recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. He also facilitated car hire and taxi as needed and was always available on whatsapp upon request. Very happy guests! 👍😀
