MANOS VAMVAKOUSIS HAS BEEN AN OUTSTANDING HOST : - Manos arranged transport from the airport to the house. Upon arrival, Manos welcomed us, made us feel at home and showed us around the house. He also gave us many valuable information on our first day such as activities to do in the island (E.g boat trips), towns beaches and restaurants to visit, transport around the island, essential contacts (E.g emergency numbers) and more. - On our last day, Manos kindly dropped us off to the nearest bus stop so we don't have to carry our luggages. THE PROPERTY IS ELEGANT, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, WELL EQUIPPED and PEACEFUL WITH STUNNING VIEWS. - One of the main reason why we wanted to stay here is the kitchen. If you are staying in Santorini for a while and love to cook food some day or night instead of spending a-lot of money in restaurants, then this place is for you. The property will have all the essential cooking material you need. - The property is cleaned and restocked with coffee, marmalades, bread, milk, orange juice, cheese and ham everyday. This has been a brilliant breakfast for us! - The property is in the centre of the island which makes it convenient to visit all directions. The bus stop is 6 min walk, located in front of a lovely bakery called Gregoris bakery. Highly recommend to try some of there baked good especially the mini croissants filled with Nutella chocolate!. Across the bakery is where you will find a great view of the volcano and Thirassia island - Due to being in the centre, most buses runs through the nearest bus stop including Perissa, perivolos and Kamari beach and Akrotiri (red and white beach) buses which makes it very convenient. You will have to go to Thira to catch bus to Oia and the airport. - Air conditioning and TV works like a dream!. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!

Manos and his father Christopher were so kind and helpful. They supplied bacon, eggs, bread, butter. OJ, Milk, wine, water, fruit, cookies and other things to help out. This was a blessing since we were there over Christmas and some of the markets were closed. All the appropriate cookwear and kitchen items were present to cook a meal on Christmas day. We only shopped for those ingredients. They also left a very thoughtful Christmas gift made in Greece, for a remembered trip. The bed was very comfortable for us. This location is perfect if you rent a car to explore the island since it's fairly central and parking is immediately present in front of the home. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to others.

I cannot really complain at all, it was a very nice place to stay.

Quite location, away from the congestions in Oia or Fira. It is recommended to rent a car (or better a ATV or scooter as it fits better on the narrow streets) so that you can get anywhere on the island in 8 - (beaches Kamari or Perrisa) to 30 minutes (Oia). Manos was an extremely kind host, making us excellent recommendations and the home made cake received as a farewell gift was excellent. He even check us in quite early in the morning as we landed at 8.30 am. Apartment is big, very clean with a view to a vineyard & Pyrgos, close to supermarkets & bakeries. Cleaning lady came every day & clean the apartment. The kitchen was quite weal equipped, maybe 1 knife that cuts better would be needed.

The breakfast was the same all 7 days. Some vegetable would be great, but we did solve it from the supermarket. Apartment 1 is the closes to the street & if you are a sensitive sleeper is better to chose the last as is more far from the street, for us was no problem.

Manos was an excellent host. Look no further if you want a property in an excellent location with all the facilities. Manos made sure that we were well taken care of meeting our every needs. Going above and beyond to book our tours, arranging bbq, making sure we were comfortable, informing us about tourist destinations to visit and he had a wealth of knowledge. He took the time in every request and left no stone untouched. The property itself was very comfortable and had everything that we required for a one week vacation. Including amenities, all kitchen utensils and every household goods. We can't thank him enough that he made our holiday a walk in the park. With great communication and quick response! We had an excellent comfortable stay with the balcony and great views!

Manos is a wonderful host. Nothing was too much trouble. There was a welcome pack and a leaving gift! The location is away from the main towns and it is best to hire a car to explore the island. It is ideal for a couple with kids, as the mezzanine floor bedroom has some height restriction. Would recommend going to Pyrgos town for the sunset: it is a hidden treasure. Book a table to Franco's in advance to get the best seats for the sunset (not recommended for anyone with mobility issues).

The kitchen is basic and could do with some larger knives, would have come in handy to cut the huge juicy watermelons which are for sale everywhere.

Lovely apartment in a strategic location to visit the island. This place is really equipped with everything you need to enjoy your days in Santorini. I must mention that we have never had such comfortable beds and pillows, not even in top hotels. Manos is the perfect host and we felt very welcomed and taken care of. Highly recommended.

Everything! From the moment we arrived Manos was extremely accommodating and provided us amazing service from start to finish. The apartment was perfect for our family (and baby!). Manos ensured we had everything we needed for our baby and included many extras to make things easy for her. Manos provided amazing tips and suggestions to visit/eat. The apartment was very clean, spacious and had stunning views. We had everything we needed to also cook when we felt like it. The bed was very comfortable and our baby slept very well too in the cot provided. Manos was always responsive and happy to answer any questions we had! He even provided a very kind parting gift (yummy biscuits!). Thank you so much for an amazing stay!!

Nothing! Everything was perfect :)

Lovely place with the great location, you are everywhere by car up to 15 min. The host is super nice, always ready to help, recommended lot of amazing places to eat and to visit. The house is clean, spacious with nice view and terrace. We traveled with our toddler, they provided everything for him (crib, chair, cuttlery, shampoo and shower gel for babies) and he could play safely inside and outside. It is the nice quiet place, if we will come back once, we would definitely revisit this accomodation.

Ampelos is a very comfortable cosy accomodation with plenty of room well equiped kitchen and well services

A little far from a supermarket but wasn’t a big problem

It's a perfect place to stay. You can easily get to any of the points on an island by car, very comfortable dislocation. The host is a really kind and hospitable person, I've received so many recommendations about food, interesting places etc from him in the first stay day. The apartment is cleaned all the time we came back in the evening. Great and professional service! I'll definitely book this apartment again when we're on Santorini.
