Everything was fabulous! Food and staff were superb, Julio the security guard went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of with beach chairs, umbrellas, adventure trips, anything we needed!!! All the staff were exceptional and went out of their way to ensure our comfort and that we had everything we needed to make our trip perfect!

Couldn't see the beach from our room (#8 at the top) but that was due to the trees having grown up in the last few years. Otherwise it was fabulous!

If you want a real taste of tropical Honduras…beautiful, simple, relaxed, convenient, this is the place. It was like staying with fun friends in an eco lodge. Jonathan, Susan (especially Susan!), Julio were fun, helpful and felt like extended family. The ladies who clean are sweet and thoughtful…leave them a small tip on your pillow. The room was tropical, kept very clean and cool with great AC. Steps away, the Argentine Grill was beyond superb. The pool was perfect and the gardens were lush. Sometime between 4 and 5 in the evening an entire flock of squawking red macaws flew overhead, their brilliant wings taking your breath away. Free breakfast was huge and delicious! Snorkeling just a walk down to the beach. Free beach chairs and umbrellas. I will be back!!!!

Hhhhhmmm…that I had to leave! Before you stretch out, put one of the provided plush white beach towels in the hammock (which is a bit scratchy on sunburn). ALL beaches in Central America seem to have no-see-ums so take repellant.

The week was a busy one, holy week, which affected our stay. Breakfast was very good. Could not eat in the restaurant easily, too busy. However, this hotel is set back from the beach, and very comfortable. Pool is nice, could be cleaner, but a good respite from the crowds. The beach access is great. Added items like kayak and canoe were good. Chairs on the beach were comfortable. All in all, great value for the money.

Do not go during holy week, like we did. Too busy.

What is not to like...this place is fantastic. From the moment we got there they picked us up at the airport ,.the people , the food, the beach, the pool... I loved when the hummingbirds will come to the Bougainvillea right outside the balcony l the Coconuts leaf moving with the rhythm of the ocean breeze..thid i mention the Argentinian restaurant.. have to try to key lime pie it's delicious Definitely going back again next year amazing!!!!!

I paid for an ocean view room but the Coconuts trees were too high that I could only see a little bit of of the ocean but I didn't care because I was just steps away from the actual water so it's good

This is a very nice retreat, has a pool and direct access to the beach. Restaurant on the property. Perfect for a nice and quiet beach week.

The location is kind of secluded, so you won’t be able to explore anything else unless you hire a cab or a car. Gumbalimba park is about 20 min walking, that’s about the only thing. Also my understanding is there is a very narrow checkin timeframe, I was lucky enough to arrive within whose hours

1.Property was right on the beach 2.Staff were very friendly and helpful 3.Pool was a bonus especially after a long day on the beach 4.liked that there was free breakfast available even though it’s not much but it was filling. 5.The room was big and a lot of space and the tv had a lot of stations in English that I would watch back at home so that was a plus 6.The kitchen had everything and it was clean Would definitely stay there again

There was a lot of mosquitoes in my room.

Location is great and staff are super helpful and kind.

The TV remote did not work and a light bulb in the room wasn't working either. The towels provided in the rooms could use some renewing because the ones we got were ripped in several places. The bathroom door in the room was difficult to open and close.

This was our second stay at this hotel. The rooms are huge and the beds are comfy. The staff is wonderful as is the restaurant, Argentinian Grill. The breakfast is wonderful (the omelette is really good!). We love the location right at the beach and they have beach chairs with umbrellas for guests to use. Also love that there are kayaks and paddle boards! Plenty of parking if you rent a car.

Everything was great. The WIFI was slow but it was there! The people made it one of the best places to stay at... the staff was friendly, kind, courteous. We enjoyed our stay so much. The grounds are beautiful, and well maintained.

The only annoying things were the neighborhood noise... the dogs barking. But hey that's part of vibrant island life. I like that the hotel is set back. We truly can't think of anything we disliked! We loved the setting so much.

We liked all the staff for their positive attitude and willingness to assist. The location was perfect for direct access to the beach, use of their free kayaks, and all beach activities. We loved the amazing breakfasts that came with room, and dinners were impeccable!

We loved everything! The pool and sauna were right out our front door. They even had a book closet.
