We were only supposed to be there one night, but due to flight cancellations, ended up staying for 4 and the staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone was friendly and did their best to help us and other guests that were also stuck on the Island. The location is perfect, on the main strip in West End and directly opposite the water taxi's to West Bay. Plenty of food and nightlife too.

Our room (Double Room with Sea View) was right above the kitchen and so if you don't manage the AC right (and shut the bathroom door!), it can get pretty toasty.Biggest issue with our trip was getting stuck for 4 extra days due to crop burning cancelling flights, but certainly can't complain about the accommodation.

Breakfast included was a huge plus. Another plus...always had cucumber and or regular cold water near reception, and the fans in the restaurant area are a huge plus to hanging out there, appreciating the view, eating or hanging out. The rooms are standard Honduran rooms...well equipped with soap/shampoo, hot water, closet, a chair, and many of the rooms have outdoor seating and even a hammock. Pizzas for lunch were great, and the staff was always nice, helpful, and worked out any questions/issues we had very quickly. The dive shop staff/instructors were great as well, and helped us there a ton...but were also super flexible and wanted to just make the dive we had the best they could. They even helped us coordinate getting to and from the airport.

There was a temporary issue with one of the room's AC unit, but it was quickly handled. I can't really think of anything negative to say otherwise.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty! Everyone went above and beyond. The restaurant food was home cooked with love. The maid service was amazing. I have around 10,000 nights in hotels and they were the best! Centrally located to everything in the west end. The dive shop and staff top notch. The diving was spectacular. This crew was awesome. The pool at the villas was perfect for our lap swimming and it was quiet and peaceful. The dock was perfect for watching the incredible sunsets!

The mattress was much too hard. Our hips and shoulders feel bruised.

The little gal in the restaurant was awesome server! She was right on it all the time! The dive shop is awesome and did over and above! Very accommodating to help me with my gear

My friend had a hard time sleeping because of her bed. One time waited waiting 15 minutes and the waiter never came to the table. So we went down the street to eat

After a week up in Sunset Villas, I moved down to the Splash Inn for one night after my flight out got pushed back a day. I knew the area at that point and liked how it's walking distance to everything. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Delivered for the night I needed. There's a dock right out front as well and you can organize dives through the hotel.

Loud dogs barking early in the morning and wifi so-so in the rooms but that's all.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the hotel and restaurant to the dive center. The location is in the middle of the west end strip with multiple amazing restaurants nearby including the hotel restaurant. As far as the dive center goes the facilities were very good with each diver having their own gear locker. the staff bring and setup your BCD and regulators to the boat which is directly across the street every dive which was awesome!. all in all I would definitely recommend Splash Inn for a stay, Great Diving and great staff A++

there was a rooster that lives across the street from the hotel that I wish would run into the jungle and never return. other than that no complaints at all!

Since the moment we arrived on the property the staff at Splash inn resort were more than accommodating. They welcomed us with a tasty ginger juice while we did our check in. We arrived early from the ferry but they told us we could stay and eat lunch on property or we could go around and explore, we chose to have lunch there and it was absolutely delicious! After lunch our rooms were ready and we were so happy with the set up, the AC worked wonderfully and the wifi and TV were great. We felt very comfortable staying here with our 1 year old, the staff was even nice enough to warm up bottles our daughter. The breakfast included was diverse and delicious, we all found something we liked to eat. Overall it was a beautiful experience and we'll be sure to revisit Splash Inn whenever we are in Roatan.

Breakfast was a big value and was very good! Not your typical free breakfast. Eggs, beans, ham, sausage and much more! Excellent coffee! Eating every morning with a great view was amazing. We would stay at the splash inn again!

We had a small problem at check in that could have been handled better. Someone was supposed to come and talk to me about it but we never connected and he didn't seem to really care. Other than that everything was really very good.

Extremely convenient! We used the dive shop but could have gone to one of several within walking distance. Many restaurants in the area. Ask for a room on the first floor - you get a little patio with hooks for a hammock and chairs to relax. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with lots of choices. We ended up staying two nights and breakfast was a little different the second morning.

The lock on the door to our room was apparently defective, the person who brought us to our room had a hard time getting the door unlocked. Turns out it wouldn't lock or unlock from inside or outside, which you would think they would have known before renting the room. It took about 5 hours to get the lock replaced, much of which was spent waiting for various people to show up.

The Splash Inn is very good hotel and very well run. We even extended our stay!. All of the staff are well trained and very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean, the A/C works well, and the beds are comfortable. The included breakfast buffet is pretty good, too. I'd highly recommend this hotel for any travelers to the West End, not just divers. By the way, I did not use their dive shop so I can't comment on it.

Drinking water in the rooms would have been a nice touch but they will fill any container for you for free if you ask someone behind the counter.
