I mean it's the Ritz, so you can only expect fabulous. The room was incredibly spacious. We traveled with our 4 yo and 8 yo, they were kind enough to set up a cot us as well to allow everyone to have a fabulous night rest. The staff were incredibly helpful in arranging taxi's to and from the Grand Prix, lovely to the kids, providing them stuffies and a folder with stickers and colouring sheets. The breakfast was over the top, a beautiful spread and incredibly delicious. Overall the front desk staff and waitstaff were very kind and accommodating to us. The space is gorgeous.

The only issue we had was with the women working at the bar, I'm not sure if it was because we were with kids, my husband and I wanted to have a cocktail prior to heading out for dinner and we stood at the bar, she didn't acknowledge us and even turned to serve another group as they approached the bar. When I said "excuse me, we were hear first and we have been waiting to order", her response was "sorry I didn't see you" --which is highly unlikely when you have 2 kids with you. We asked to order a drink and she said it would take 30 min --clearly she did not want us there.

Breakfast was very good. In addition to items from the menu, they brought avocado as a side dish for an omelet, as well as beans, without any problems. Honey in combs is a special love, very tasty! The staff is wonderful. The cleaning is excellent. The room was very beautiful and comfortable. Corner room facing East, it was magical to wake up to the first rays of the sun and hear the main clock on the square every hour. Budapest is a magical city.

There is one wish, but it does not apply to the hotel, but to the Italian restaurant at the hotel. The restaurant is quite dirty (for example, the coffee machine is very dirty and the coffee is not tasty). And half of the dishes on the menu were not available to order. We had to dine at outside restaurants, but we didn’t regret it. The hotel itself is gorgeous! The restaurant is not the main thing.

The customer service was unparalleled. From the minute you step foot in the hotel, you feel truly pampered. To add to this, the decor, quality of all the services such as the spa and restaurant were also exceptional. The breakfast was lovely with an a la carte menu plus a small buffet of fruits, cheeses, pastries, etc. The location of this hotel was also perfect with all the major shops literally just outside your door and a 10 minute walk to the Danube. I would definitely stay here again and can't wait till my next opportunity!

The bed was great for my entire family but I prefer a really hard mattress. This was definitely not a deal breaker as I slept very well. I would also change the buzzer on the door as it was quite jarring.

Everything was perfect at our stay at the Ritz Budapest. The location is the BEST, especially if you're visiting around Christmas, as the best Christmas markets are within a few minutes walk from the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. If you're going somewhere further the taxi station and Budapest Metro station are right in front of the hotel. The rooms are beautiful, beds super comfortable and sheets were very soft and smelled great. Breakfast was one of the best we've had at hotels, lots of options and everything was delicious. We were there with our kids (twins age 11) and the staff made sure they enjoyed everything too. I highly recommend upgrading or paying for a club room, it is very worth it, breakfast will be included plus snacks, lunch, drinks throughout the day, as well as special events like chocolate tasting. Big shout out to Kata and Rebeka for making our stay more special, their tips about Budapest were so helpful, and our departure gift was beyond thoughtful.. the kids did not want to leave and made us promise to come back to visit them again. Thank You!

We had an executive room, which was courtesy of the hotel as a free upgrade, we weren't expecting that. The room was excellent and very spacious, very clean and tidy. The Staff were very friendly, very professional, polite and very accommodating to any requests we had, nothing was too much trouble for them. We already had access to the club lounge on our original booking, again the staff there were all excellent. If you smoke there is a narrow balcony at the club lounge where you can smoke. The location is very central for so many shops and restaurants just seconds or minutes away, literally. A car is not needed to get to any of those. Small shops, big shops, brand name shops. I had a request for a birthday cake to be made and for a bouquet of roses for my wife as an early birthday present, to be given to her at the end of what was an excellent dinner, which the staff took care of perfectly for me and the cake was courtesy of the hotel, very impressed and kind of them. Great work!

On another note, a couple of small points, we asked for an omelet for breakfast which was too creasy. There should have been two pairs of slippers in our room but we had only one and we had to ask a couple of times to get a second pair and shower gel for the shower as there were two shampoos instead of one, mistaken I'm sure for the shower gel. Minor points and they did not affect our stay.

The room was beautifully dressed - the team did a great job. We had issues with knocking pipes / smells from sewage in the bathroom so we puts the plugs down. The gym and pool i would have thought would have been bigger / more extensive / choice for such an establishment. Breakfast was great. The bar - we went to after Nobu but it was dead so we left - we were just looking for somewhere with a nice vibe and lively ! Otherwise great location / clean and tidy and staff were very friendly

It's The Ritz so I knew it would be luxurious but the staff made the experience memorable. Hanadi, Adele, Veronika and Jimmy are not only consummate professionals but they truly take pride in providing exceptional service. Hanadi even went out of her way to get me a package of gum and bring it to my room! The night before, she set up movies for us with popcorn and snacks!

The mattress could have been much more supportive. For the price, you would expect more TV channels.

The location is great, the staff are very friendly and attentive. The bed in the room was so comfy. The toiletries and bathroom were amazing. It's definitely worth upgrading to the club lounge, a special mention to staff Huni & Veronika in the lounge. The spa facilities are great. Definitely a luxury hotel, worth the price.

No real bad points at all. The mirror play on the TV wasn't working and that's about it.

The location was brilliant right in the middle of the city close to loads of major attractions.

Breakfast could have been a little better. Some foods on the continental table were in short supply (such as the bread for toast ) and weren’t replaced very quickly which meant waiting around while your breakfast was on the table going a little cold. The quality of everything was good and the servers were lovely
