The location is hard to beat. So so convenient. The room is spacious and clean, the breakfast is abundant and fresh.

Payed a lot because it was formula 1 weekend but I guess all hotels in the city had raised their prices for this particular time period.

-clean room -big bathroom -great location -nice lounge -big breakfast but medium quality (buffet style) -very good staff

-kinda small room -tv is useless, you have 10 channels and they are all local, nothing in english -there is a paper that you can complete with things you might need and they will give it to you theoretically(slippers, shampoo etc), in fact thoose never came to us -they charge you 15% for service at the bar for everything, even if they only give you a bottle of water. Basicly overprice to overpriced.

- very friendly staff; - the location is very close to many restaurants and other attractions; - although the room and bathroom are very small, they are very well equipped and the space is optimized to the maximum. For example, the shower is very large and spacious. The bedroom is equipped with everything necessary; - although I will write about the beds below, as the sum of pleasant and not so pleasant things, this hotel is exactly as it presents itself, maybe even a little higher. And the way they managed to use the little space they allocated for the rooms only shows professionalism.

I wouldn't have included the information here because it's not really a negative, but the beds are a bit narrow and you risk falling parts of your body on the floor. But don't worry, you don't have room to fall completely because the space between the beds is small :)

Excellent location, very near all the major attractions on the Pest side, also near metro, bus stop and shopping area, lots of places to eat nearby. The breakfast was a good spread with lot of variety and continuously refilled. Large eating area so it doesnt get too crowded. Staff were always willing to help. Clean comfortable rooms and safe for a solo woman traveller. Hotel arranged airport pick up and transfer.

Nothing much to say here, the staff at reception didnt know where the nearest post box was, and sent me on a 10min walk. I later found one just outside the hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at D8 Hotel! The location is unbeatable – just steps away from the Christmas market and Vaci Street, making it ideal for shopping and soaking in the festive atmosphere. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The breakfast offered a decent variety of options, with something for everyone to enjoy. The staff was friendly and accommodating, further enhancing our experience. We would highly recommend D8 Hotel to anyone visiting Budapest, whether for leisure or business. The D8 Hotel boasts a fantastic location and incredibly kind staff, making it a convenient choice for exploring the city. We arrived early and, unfortunately, had to wait a while for our room as the hotel was fully booked. While understandable, it would have been a nice touch if the staff had reminded us about the included breakfast. We arrived while breakfast was being served, and it would have been helpful if the staff had checked if we wanted to partake. Sadly, we had to leave early the next morning and missed out. The room itself was decent, but could have been better maintained. Despite these points, the D8 Hotel's convenient location and friendly staff make it a decent option. With a little more attention to detail and guest communication, it could be even better.

The Hotel was pretty new looking and well maintained. The decoration was tasteful, everything was pretty clean. Aircoditioning worked great which was a big plus! The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. And price was very fair, would definitely go there again!

I was there with my family in Summer, and was really hot I was expecting to have a minibar on the room to have cool drinks but they didn’t have it. Also in the lobby would have been cool to have water for the guests it was around 35-38 degrees, the water was only available on the breakfast time. They did have a machine to buy drinks, but you have to buy some “tokens” from the reception which was a bit annoying both for the staff and for me (specially in busy hours)

Exceptional hotel in every way - location excellent (main Pest sights in easy reach & close to the Chain Bridge for getting across to the Buda side/funicular/transport up to St Stephen church/old area); we took a 2 room/2 double bed room (in one) as we wanted space, could not have been better. Breakfast is very good (included) and has just about all you could need (contintental and some cooked items). The whole hotel is practical and well designed. Quiet area. The staff were very nice and always helpful.

We could not fault this hotel, honestly. It ticks all the boxes for a city trip.

The rooms were very warm - even in nov and dec we put the air con on! Breakfast can be busy at peak times but when we had nowhere to sit the staff put up an extra table which was fab service Would have been nice to have some drinks facilities in the room and some additional storage / drawers etc

The hotel is located right in the heart of the downtown tourist area. It's lobby and its indoor and outdoor eating areas are spacious, clean, and inviting. The rooms are clean and the bedding comfortable. The bathrooms are spotless, and there is plenty of hot water in the shower. The toilet flushes and self-cleans. There is even a heated towel rack in the bathroom. The staff are friendly. The breakfast is varied and full of choice. Their homemade yogurt is particularly tasty. The overall value for the money is excellent.

The rooms are the smallest that I've ever seen. Keeping in mind that every inch of space is utilized brilliantly, and the smallest of functional details are smartly considered, the room was perfectly funcitonal and comfortable. However, there was no room for a chair, desk, dressers, closets, or other furniture. You get a bed and a bathroom. The other thing to keep in mind is that being in the heart of the tourist district means that, if your room faces the street, you'll hear drunk people outside the hotel at all hours of the night. We bought earplugs. I would definitely stay there again.
