Fabulous location on the beachfront with a dreamy infinity pool. Good snorkelling out front off the rocky beach. There is now a bamboo pontoon offshore which makes it so easy to just hang off it and watch the underwater delights. The staff have all been there for years, which is always a good sign. They are delightful and friendly. The food is delicious, especially anything with their homemade sambal Bali.

The mosquitoes were pretty bad, but it’s the rainy season, so to be expected. There was spray available and mosquito coils. My room was clean and comfortable, with a fabulous view, but the bathroom is quite dingy. I don’t like an open bin for used toilet paper. It would be much nicer to have a bin with a lid.

The ocean view room views are an absolute delight to wake up to and sit on the balcony and enjoy. Being able to walk out the front and be snorkelling with coral and tropical fish within 50 meters of the hotel was surreal ! Air conditioning was excellent . Breakfast was simple but very nice and the view , exceptional. Overall great value for money. Lots of restaurants of excellent quality in short walking distances, circle k within 5 minutes too. Great massage establishments too in walking distance . Would stay again.

The water pressure was not great. Their was no reception sign, so you had to guess where it was . When you initially arrive the property appears to be a little run down and the decor is Bali of old. The location and ocean view makes it very acceptable. There is no working safe in the room.

Incredible location, with the beach literally steps away- we loved the great snorkelling directly in front of the hotel! The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lovely pool overlooking the sea, with beautiful trees and garden. Each room feels quite private, with a nice area to sit in front.

In the family room- while beautiful, we found the upstairs mezzanine got too hot to sleep up top despite the fan. Possibly the AC was a little underpowered to fully cool the size of the room- but not a huge problem. We figured a way round it, and were all comfortable. 😊

Enjoyed waking up to the sounds of the ocean. The restaurant kept my kids happy with delicious and affordable chicken and chips. We had fresh juice every morning with our delicious breakfast. We walked 3 minutes to the store to try some new to us drinks, snacks, and even got a pool floaty. Staff helped us arrange boat snorkel tour to underwater temple that picked us up from the beach in front of the property. The pool was deep enough to actually jump into, it was partly shaded during the day and I enjoyed stargazing while floating at night.

A fan for upstairs and downstairs would be better for sleeping.

I really enjoyed staying at Wawa Wewe, the pool is great, the location is good within walking distance of quite a few good warungs and the bed was comfy. The air con in my room worked really well, I was there at peak wet season so I definitely needed it. The style of the grounds and rooms are what I think of when I think of Bali. Do not stay here if insects in the bathroom bother/worry you - it is open air so they will get in.

As others have noted the common dining area could use an upgrade. The decking is rotting and the soft furnishings are filthy. The shower head needs changing, there isn't enough water pressure for such a big shower head so the water dribbles out making it difficult to shower.

Location is fabulous, quiet, close to great restaurants, food was good here and infinity pool awesome. Good access to excursions, snorkeling and boat hire. Staff friendly and kind and even lent scooter for me to go to ATM. Recommend the Japanese wreck and Turtles for snorkeling- just fabulous. Gusto’s nearby is great and so cheap The Griya is worth a visit for Cocktails and views, but more expensive All In all great 5 night stay

The owners have clearly struggled through Covid. The place is amazing but there needs to be some attention to basic maintenance around the property to bring it back to a higher standard. That however would not stop me from staying again. The bar had no spirits or cocktails available, many nights we would have happily stayed at WAWa wewe resort, but only Bintang or Arak offered, so we went out instead and enjoyed drinks elsewhere, so they are essentially losing out.

Location is great, sea facing, you can watch nice sunset. Property is small but nice. Staff is great. Infinity pool was great.

The family room has a king bed below and a queen bed in the attic. The stairs to attic has no railing, which is not very safe to use. Plus the height of the attic is low, you will bang your head for sure. Also AC doesn't reach there, but you have a fan. Bathroom is open and thus insects, lizard came in.

The rooms were traditonal and lovely. It has beautiful surroundings and is lovely and quiet. You can see the ocean when having breakfast and the pool edge looks out onto the ocean. The food is very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. They had big bottles of water so you could fill your water bottles each day.

Some of the rooms didn't have a fridge and one of my friends didn't have one but I did. Nice for being able to put cold drinks in or keeping the water cold.

Beautiful location, the pool and sunbed area were lovely, and staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a very late check-in and the staff were very accommodating, being there to show us to the room at such an inconvenient hour. They also were very helpful in organising scooter and snorkel rental. Addidionaly food prices at the restaurant were very affordable, and the included breakfast was very yummy. Can recommend the 'Nasi Whatever' - their special breakfast. The location was in a nice quieter part of Amed, however still with plenty of warungs in the area. Looking forward to staying again!

Nothing to complain about!

Delightful in every way. Don’t be fooled by the unmade road leading down to the Villas. Once you go through the wooden doors it’s an oasis. Fantastic infinity pool overlooking the sea. Delightful friendly and helpful staff. Small menu but everything I tried was great. Very comfortable and quiet accommodation.

The coral reef is on your doorstep but it’s getting abused. There are no signs or guidance on how to access the reef and most people are walking right through it and doing immense harm to it. If action is not taken by all the hotels, the reef close to shore will be obliterated in a-few years and that will end the tourism in Amed.
