The whole property is such a little oasis, the staff is the nicest and most helpful, and it’s really good value for money. I loved my stay and even came back at the end of my Bali adventures. I also got the four hands massage (several times) at the hotel in a private gazebo by one of the two pools for 150’000 idr and they were fantastic. The whole vibe is really relaxed and lovely and the staff will go above and beyond to make you feel at home and help when needed. They even accepted to keep my backpack in storage while I went around Bali, until I came back to the hotel, which I really appreciated. Thank you so much to the whole team and see you next time !

We have been staying in villa for 6 days. Very beautiful place. There is everything for comfortable rest. It’s very clean, service is excellent.

It's a good half hour walk to the nice beaches. Book the deluxe room we had standard and there was no kettle and a few insects in the bathroom. (I don't think a kettle should be classed as an upgrade.)

First, the positives. Has a lovely relaxed vibe away from the main road and big resorts. Staff are very friendly.

Unfortunately my room was right next to the open air restaurant and a big group of long-stay guests use it to smoke, have group work meetings and talk long into the night (one night til 4am) which is not why I chose an out-of-the way hotel. Solved once I found my earplugs as no other room was available.

Very good facilities for that price range. Not too big, clean and nice area. Good included breakfast - 5 decent options with fresh juice and fruits - healthy, American, pancakes, Indonesian and continental. Good kitchen in general. It has a spacious common area for meetings if you have a big family to catch up with in the evening. Two swimming pools - the bigger one works till 20 pm, the smaller - non limited. Again - it is not huge as in big hotels, but sufficient for refreshing, light swimming and kid's fun. Calm and not noisy area (accept neighbourhood roster) Rooms are not too big but fairly enough for 2 adults or 2 adults with a kid. We had 2 kinds of rooms - deluxe and standard - the bathroom is the only difference. The size of both rooms is quite similar. Good air conditioning. Good Wi-Fi. Many warungs, massage saloons and shops nearby. The nearby beach (10 min on a walk) is not big and clean. Better to go to Nusa Dua beach by taxi or Gojek.

Really nice and helpful staff, flexible to the demands of the guests (asked for an upgrade for a better room by paying the difference because we did not like the bathroom of the standard rooms, but this was our fault, we did not look properly at the pictures when booking the room) Spotless clean room and bathroom Towels, hand towels and bed linens bright white and clean, with nice clean smell Modern room and bathroom facilities in the villas, with nice private swimming pool. Breakfast was good, big portions. Reception helped us with finding a driver/guide for a day trip to Uluwatu. Deluxe rooms and rooms in villa or private villas are really good value for money.

Location is a bit far from the beach, but easily reachable with Bike or Grab/Gojek

This property is an extension of the neighbouring Kubu garden property. Opened Oct ‘22. I stay in many hotels through the year. This place was outstanding! Staff super friendly and chatty. Service top notch. Daily clean of the room showed attention to details. Breakfast great. Coffee great. Had dinner twice and was very good both times. Pool good size and refreshing. Gardens well maintained and calming. Proximity of pool and gardens to villas gives that extended personal space dimension with each villa having two outside chairs a table and some screening privacy. Room was spacious and well setup with an open ceiling shower giving the feel of showering in nature. Bed was very comfortable. TV has many cable channels. Wifi was reliable and strong. Breakfast lounge is open plan, overlooking the pool and gardens, spitting distance from each villa. This also doubles up as the lunch/ dinner venue, and general lounging/ working area during the day. The whole place has a very calming and chill vibe. Main Street is 5 min casual walk away, with many good eateries and convenience stores both left and right. Beach is across the road. Couple ATM close by. Easy enough getting Grab and GoJek to take you further afield.

It was so beautiful and had lovely relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of restaurants and bars close by but not as busy as other areas which is what we wanted. The beach is only a 10 minute walk and it looked great compared to their beaches in Bali

Some items and facilities listed aren’t in the rooms. For example there isn’t a hairdryer. And it says there are mosquito nets in the deluxe room but there isn’t. It also lists a tea/coffee maker and electric kettle but these weren’t in our room. BUT these are minor things that I would not hold against staying at this beautiful place again

I liked the pool and the location, the staff were friendly and kind. The room was basic and met the needs of what we wanted, and the breakfast was delicious. I appreciated that it started at 7am.

There was a skillsaw going all day over the wall, no fault of Kubu, just the way it goes. I didn't like that there wasn't a solid wall between bathrooms in the villas, it meant that you heard what was going on in the next bathroom, two nights in a row, two lots of different people we had to listen to them vomiting. I think I managed 2-3 hours sleep each night, it was awful. The glass door and window to the bathroom made it very hot in the room during the day and added to the noise level coming from the next door bathroom.
