Absolutely loved my stay at Pondok Agung, it's a little bit of paradise. Set back from the road, the gardens and pool are exceptionally beautiful and there are comfortable loungers and even a small library to spend your time. The room was huge with a comfortable sofa and bed. I also had my own tiny kitchen which was super helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom modern. It also had great shutters on all the windows which meant the room stayed dark into the morning. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast delicious. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The only quibble is with the location. While it is only a couple of minutes from the beach, the beach isn't super nice. It's where all the watersports boats are moored and not suitable for swimming or relaxing. It's also a bit away from the main restaurant area (about 15mins walk), though Grab is frequent and cheap.

The bungalows were built in traditional Balinese style. They had a spacious balcony overlooking the pool. They were very roomy with a high ceiling and plenty of storage, Bed was very comfortable. The staff were outstanding. My wife and I were more than satisfied with our accommodation. Definitely the best we stayed in out of the 4 different places we stayed. The grounds were immaculate. Breakfast was delicious.

The only downside was the location, situated at the "dead" end of Nusa Dua.

The host was very knowledgeable and set us up with an English speaking driver to take us to visit the superb hotspots of Bali. The pool was clean, loungers spotless and were even given extra towels to use!

The beach is just across the road, directly in front of the B&B, was congested with fishing boats, but it was only a very short taxi ride to find a nice part of the beach.

This is one of the cutest places ever! The couple we were traveling with stayed at the Conrad Hilton down the peninsula from us but honestly, they were jealous of our cute and quaint environment. So restful! So peaceful! Totally zen. My only thing I can say as a negative was the bed was not as soft as I like !!! But honestly for the price you can easily overlook. Wonderful value.

The bed? A bit softer.

The AC was really good. Staff friendly and helpful. WiFi was good. The breakfast was nice. The cost was very reasonable. Nice selection of books in the Library.

The pool is small, there are 7 sun beds and more guests than this. We stayed at 4 different homestays in Bali during our stay and this one had the most mosquitoes by far. It made breakfast and the pool difficult to relax (even with repellent on). The nearby beach is for water sports and not swimming but you can walk up to a nicer part but it is a bit more of a walk. It’s a quiet area of Nusa Dua, a bit of a walk to restaurants (15mins or so).

So many things to like!!! The staff are very helpful, attentive and friendly. (I felt VERY well looked after.) The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained, it’s a tranquil space. There is a choice of breakfasts, all very good and promptly brought to your table. (I also ate lunch and dinner at the accommodation as it was so convenient and reasonably priced. ) My room was kept spotless. Comfy bed, clean sheets and towels, also you’ll be given a lovely pool towel to use whilst there. In my room there was a kettle/cups/saucers, fridge, tv, a/c and a safe. Everything worked - no missing light bulbs, safe worked, mesh intact on bathroom window so the mosquitoes were kept out and the windows and doors fitted, which is often not the case in these wooden type rooms. I had a large terrace too overlooking the pool and surrounding beautiful greenery. I appreciated being able to get massages too in their private treatment room with a lovely and experienced masseuse called Made. (Much better than traipsing around the street spas and not knowing what quality of treatment you’ll be given. Same price as outside places too.) An extra mention for the wonderful Putu who went out of his way to make sure my stay was 5 star. With many thanks 🙏

It’s location is at the top end of Tanjung Benoa and the beach is more for water sports.

The property is a little haven of tranquility located next to a busy tourist beach spot which provides loads of activities. The property is tastefully designed around a central garden and small swimming pool. The staff are ultra helpful and the rooms are large and well appointed. Wi-fi is reasonable at 25mbs, although a little intermittent. Breakfast is good, served in a spacious garden area. There is a mini-market next door and a couple of restaurants, both local and upmarket.

It's less than a minutes walk to a nice beach, however the beach is over-run with bus loads of tourists for most of the day. Better wait until evening when they've all packed up and gone home.

1. Very friendly and understanding staff. They take care of any small complaints quickly. Our original room had a TV which was not working correctly at all. Considering the length of stay and didn't want to do much during the heat of the day, TV was important. They quickly managed to change our room and we absolutely loved it! 2. Lovely, lovely room which was perfectly sized to have a sofa for a quick bite and watch TV and also have a queen sized bed. 3. Beautiful garden!! Really calmed us down and relax a lot more compared to other places. 4. Close to some really popular hotels for food. Still need to ride there and can't walk. 5. There's a convenience store right outside for you to get some food/snacks/drinks. 6. Staff was able to arrange a scooter which was delivered and picked up from the resort. 7. Fairly quiet overall 8. Loved the pool for the size and depth, especially for non-swimmers(adults)

1. Bed was a little weird and not very comfortable. 2. Staff is not really serious about serving food at the right time. They have weird timings and don't really fit well as a restaurant. 3. There is one small room on the first floor(close to entry to pool on the right) which we rented for an additional day which is very poorly designed. There is absolutely no curtain or blinds!! The harsh sun beats down on you and there is absolutely no privacy in this room. Plenty of geckos come in due to poor room seals and will keep you busy from sleeping.

It is a little paradise up the top of the peninsula opposite from the watersports beach. Beautiful gardens, seating area and pool. Room was fine. Breakfast and we ordered lunch there too was great. Fabulous place to stay for the price. Breakfast 3 options all are 70,000.

There were no warungs nearby for restaurants so it was a walk down the road to the resort area. Not alot in the area but it was lovely and quiet and minimart next door for essentials. Got a Grab to go sightseeing no problem.
