WHAT a find Bali Agung Village is - I have come to Bali a lot over the years and stayed many places and very highly recommended Bali Agung Village - location is exceptional - close to the beach as well as all of the hustle and bustle of Seminyak but you feel like your in your own peaceful oasis, quiet and tranquil with extremely helpful and kind staff. I will be back on my next trip!

Breakfast had a good variety and an egg station which I love. The beach was only a 5 minute walk away and the location was close to shops and a large variety of restaurants. The staff were especially helpful and friendly. It was tucked away down an alley, but it felt very safe as there were always people around. There was a Circle K about a 1 minute walk away, the pool always had lounges available and plenty of sunny and shady spots. There were always fresh pool towels and great service for drinks and food.

Very nice and green Balinese resort style accommodation. Warm welcome by staff with welcome drink. Pool area and common spaces are very green and nicely set-up. Breakfast was good and available for a long period of time. Comfortable bed. I would consider coming back.

Although our stay was nice and comfortable, we did have the feeling something was missing or a bit off. We stayed in one of the villas and we came to the conclusion that it is starting to be a bit tired and dated. The villa was spacious, but had some weird features like a small make-up (?) room which was rather useless and I think a small seating area would be much more appropriate. In the shower there was an outside space, which I thought would be an outdoor shower, but actually had no function. The garden around the villa was not particularly green or lush and I wonder if there used to be some water around the villa. There was also a lack of powepoints. I had to unplug the bedside lamp to charge my phone. I think some upgrades and renovations would do the place justice.

It's a typical Balinese style hotel with spacious villas too The staff are excellent and couldn't do enough for you From the gardener's to the cleaners, to the reception staff and servers everyone always had a smile for you The pool is great and it's a very chilled area Great you can swim up to the bar and have a Bintang! Location is a 5 minute walk to the beach, 15 minute walk to Seminyak Square Taxis are 15 minutes to W Hotel & KU DE TA Excellent restaurants around too Excellent breakfast

Loved the pool area and the gardens throughout the property. The breakfast buffet and the restaurant were also wonderful. The staff was kind and very helpful. We had a wonderful time and would recommend

The rooms are a bit dated (especially in the bathroom) but they are clean. The hotel is situated at the end of a long alley and with our kids we would have preferred something closer to the main road. Unfortunately the location of the property on the website is a bit off and shows that the property is closer to the main road than it actually is. (5 mins walk to main road)

It was extremely quiet, might be nosier if you booked the villas with thatched roof but the room we booked there was no outside noise. Rooms are spread out and you don't hear or see most of the guests. The breakfast was lovely and we only had one meal from the restaurant but it was outstanding. Many of the guests stayed at the accommodation all day but it was only a short walk down to the beach. Much better option than big resorts we had previously stayed at on the beachfront.

The staff were very freindly and always willing to help when needed. Good sized villas, bed reasonably comfortable.

The putrid smell of the water coming out of the shower and taps. Never had that problem in other accommodation. The TV would not log in to the Internet for Netflix, but I have it on my Tablet, and this really is a first world problem. An improvement would be to have chairs in the room which can recline rather than the very small upright ones.

It had beautiful gardens, very traditional and the pool was lovely.

The rooms were small and antiquated, quite dirty in places. The bathroom was very shabby, and the shower spluttered out water, needed a good clean. The basin was very grimy and needed a real deep clean. The toilet didn’t flush half the time. Linen was very old and discoloured. The breakfast wasn’t included in the price. The food at breakfast was pathetic, no choice. The food on the menu was ok.

I loved my stay at Bali Agung Village! The hotel is beautiful, all in a very traditional Balinese style - much more special than staying in a generic modern hotel block! The pool is lovely, with lots of sun loungers to relax on throughout the day. There is even a swim up bar! The staff are lovely and friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is very nice, looking out over the pool, and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. My room was very spacious, with a huge window with lovely views over the fields. I had a little terrace out the front of my room as well with views over the pool which was very nice in the evenings. Everything was incredibly clean, and the room cleaned and fresh towels were given every day.

The only downside of the hotel is the location. It is off the main road down a small side street, which I personally didn't feel very comfortable walking down as a solo traveller in the evenings. However, the hotel staff were always happy to call me a taxi at any time, so it wasn't a problem!

The hotel was idyllic, set back from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. It felt like we were in the jungle, so peaceful. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. I agree with other reviewers, the bathrooms and towels are slightly dated, but this no way impacted on our holiday. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff, everyone we encountered, were absolutely fabulous.So friendly and accommodating nothing was too much bother and they were always smiling. The pool area is really good especially in the evening about 7pm, it is beautifully lit and is so peaceful. The free taxi pick up from the airport is very efficient, however I’d suggest getting the Grab app for taxis, very inexpensive and reliable. The gardens are very well kept and the various wildlife around the resort, with all the different noises makes you think you are literally in the jungle. I can’t recommend this resort enough, excellent value for money. Would I stay here again, absolutely without a shadow of a doubt.
