The place is amazing!! The staff are so friendly.. we LOVED IT. Huey our 1 year old misses all the staff already, he really enjoyed their friendly faces.

The staff are wonderful - friendly, caring, accommodating, and helped us out in many ways going the extra mile. The setting is STUNNING - you are on the cusp of a jungle type environment and the flora and fauna are amazing, as are the animals and insects you see around the ‘resort’. The bar area is so relaxed, perfect place to chill in the evenings. We wanted to start our holiday of adventures by first settling ourselves / turning off from our day to day lives in somewhere peaceful and this fulfilled. There is a shuttle bus that the hotel run a few times a day to/from Ubud city (not far) but a taxi is also not that much if you want to go at different times. The staff helped us out by coordinating day trips for us at our request (hike up Mount Batur, coffee plantation, Lemponyung and Tirtta Garden water palace) and we actually extended our stay as we liked it so much. Thank you.

I loved watching the chit-chats (little house gecko’s) outside but I don’t really want them in my room (which I did find on a couple of occasions), so better sealed doors would be good.

Hidden Paradise was a beautiful and relaxing home base for our time in Ubud. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the property is gorgeous. Our favorite spot was the bar (Hidden Gem), which has an amazing view of the valley. The spa was also phenomenal. The location was great, slightly removed from town but still accessible (even if the driveway was challenging for Grab drivers!). Worth noting: we thought the food at the bar was delicious, better than the restaurant.

Two minor observations: The showerhead in the Honeymoon Suite where we stayed was a bit screwed up so water sprayed everywhere and we needed 3 towels to keep the floor dry...that should be easy to fix. Also, we did not enjoy the repetitive and cheesy music playlist(s) at the restaurant at night (at breakfast it was fine); it's a shame to have such obnoxious music in such a serene environment. When we were the only ones there we asked to turn off the music, and the staff accommodated our request, which allowed us to listen to the beautiful nature sounds (and the nearby group practicing gamelan) instead.

There are so many things. It was extremely clean, the food was amazing (Balinese and western!), the staff were so friendly, helpful and interesting! We want to shout out Oming who was amazing and always on hand and also the housekeeping staff (lady from the north we didn’t get your name!) were amazing and gave us some brilliant restaurant recommendations. We stayed in the premiere suite which was just incredible. The view over the jungle from our amazing infinity pool was epic and we got a few visits from the monkey families that lived in the jungle - they played on the edge of our pool for hours - something we wouldn’t have been able to experience anywhere else!!

There was nothing! We wanted to address that a lot of reviews talk about the noise of the roosters - there are roosters next door but with the air con on in our room we could barely hear them. I had earplugs so used them sometimes but they weren’t always needed. It’s all part of the Bali culture which we were more than happy to experience!!

The hidden paradise exceeded my expectations on every account, I can safely say it was my favourite part of my holiday to Bali. The staff were do friendly and warm, Oming the receptionist personally organised transport for me when I headed out which was so kind because I was travelling alone. The yoga classes by Wayan were so good i chose to do my yoga with her instead of with the Yoga Barn and will return for private classes next time. I was in the premier suite with a view overlooking lush jungle and even received vidits form the monkeys. This place is my new regular holiday destination for rest and relaxation in a truly magical and inspiring environment 100 out of 10.🙏🙏🙏

We really liked everything! The Hidden Paradise Ubud is such a beautiful hotel. We loved everything: the very kind people who work here, the location, the tranquility, the jungle, the infinity pool! The view is just amazing and really makes you feel humble. We felt very much at home and extended our stay. The Hidden Paradise was truly one of our highlights during our trip on Bali. In case you wonder about the accessibility of Ubud itself: the hotel offers a great shuttle service multiple times a day, the driver is so kind. Special greetings to Wati who had such a special bond with our daughter!

Quite good environment, staff was very kind and helpful. Taxi is very cheap so we did not use it but there was a free shuttle option as well from the hotel. In addition, breakfast is very good.

We have tried couple of SPA places in Bali, and the hotel’s SPA (massage) was not good at all compared to others. Also, you need to be aware that there are monkeys visiting the private pool sometimes and it’s not possible to use the pool till they leave the place. Also, there are some little lizards showing up in the rooms during the night. Even they’re not harmful, staff is very kind and responsive to collect and put them to outside as soon as we called them.

Wow, this hotel was breath-taking. It was out of the way and as it said completely hidden but once inside it was just stunning. The rooms were spacious and the beds were huge. The pool was lovely and quiet and actually relaxing unlike bigger hotels. Had the best massage with stunning views and in particular Ode (who checked us in) was very attentive and gave us advice on trips and helped organise for us. We saw monkeys by the pool aswell as outside our room! Shuttle from the hotel to Ubud centre was great and was pretty regular. Overall it was brilliant.

service for drinks and food could have been a little quicker as waited a while some nights. very quiet and dark in the evenings so would have been good for more lighting and maybe some entertainment in the bar. We ended up going down into Ubud town most evenings.

The location is amazing. Beautiful property with a stunning view. The pool access room is great. Bed was comfortable. Nice bar area overlooking the jungle.Staff were friendly.

The food at the restaurant was average. Breakfast was okay. The fish seemed like it had been frozen a while. Better options and quality needed. We couldn’t sleep due to a very noisy lizard in our room and the roosters from the property next door. We’re in nature, so there’s not much that can be done about that. Luckily we only stayed for one night. For long stays, maybe invest in earplugs. We tried to contact reception late at night, but were put through to the security guard, who said any requests have to wait until morning. It’s a bit strange that there is no contact at reception if anything is needed or problems arise.

This really is a hidden paradise, most rooms are stand alone, and surrounded by a beautiful garden, this makes the area feel very private. The staff were all very friendly and always happy to help or accommodate for our needs. The receptionist; Oming, was great, full of knowledge and very helpful with recommendations. The rooms and hotel area was clean. The hotel is not near the centre of Ubud, but they offer a free shuttle multiple times a day to take people into the centre. We will definitely be staying here again.

Not a negative, more so a suggestion for the hotel: The shuttle could have more frequent and longer hours.
