The staff are extremely friendly and hospitable Service very prompt, Quick to attend to for any issue Well built Villa They did not disappoint!

Things to improve on would be the following: - Room doesn’t get cold enough, something to do with air conditioning and size of room - little things like AC remote should be checked if battery has charge - Consider maybe having Smart TV or making the TV smart to access Netflix, YouTube ETC

they don't mention in booking.com that if you book the wooden villas, it will be a different place from the main villa. they have a shuttle to take you to the separate property

Me and my friend had a lovely stay here. We booked the private villa and when we arrived they had made so much effort to make it look amazing, the bed was all decorated with towels and flowers, the bath was filled and decorated with a flower pattern, it was just amazing! We got a free breakfast every morning with our stay which was so good and we got to pick from the menu so we could have something different each morning and sometimes we had floating breakfast with no extra cost! The staff were just incredible, they did an amazing job, very hospitable, friendly and kind and always have a smile on their faces! The food we ate there was so good also!

The location isn’t in town so not near many shops but this was also a bonus because it was peaceful where we were. They also offer free transport into town which is super helpful.

We really enjoyed that it was in a parcel of ricefields and not in the city center. it gives a good vibe of gateaway. The staff was really nice and always available when needed. We were lucky enough to be upgraded in a superb villa

I think we didn’t like the absence of transparency regarding the price of the shuttle. Sometimes we had to pay, sometime not. And quite frankly the price they offered was quite expensive. it was less expensive to use grab (which we recommend)

Villa Kayu Lama was beautiful. It’s a more secluded location from the busy central Ubud which we loved and it was very easy to get to central by bike. Cannot overstate how lovely and welcoming the staff were and they upgraded myself and my girlfriend to the deluxe private pool room for our anniversary. Facilities were lovely, rooms were always clean and the pools were well maintained. They are very thoughtful of all the little things even preparing a take-away breakfast box before our sunrise Mount Batur trek and organised a floating breakfast to enjoy. Overall, a lovely stay and highly recommend.

Location wise, you’re more secluded and there isn’t much to explore around but you can easily get a Grab and go into town. Dinner is tasty at the Villa so we were more than happy to stay there for the evening

Great private villa. I mentioned to the staff that it was our honeymoon and they decorated the room and bath. Thank you so much!! You can have a floating breakfast at no extra charge (which is quite rare in Bali). And breakfast was amazing! Comfortable bed, nice outdoor bathroom. Definitely will be staying there once again!

Please bear in mind that the sun is there only in the mornings, so the swimming pool was cool. Not a very bad thing, as when it is that hot you need to refresh. Like many places in Bali, the descent into the pool is too sharp, I would recommend building a few more steps.

From the check-in to the checkout, everything went very smoothly. Room service was given at no extra charge, with amazing options for food which tasted absoltely delicious! Massages are allowed in the rooms, pool breakfast was a nice experience along with the lovely decoration in our room for our stay celebrating our occasion. Staff are very friendly and want you to have the best time, great service given throughout the entire stay, no complaints! Would definitely visit again

Service was excellent. The accommodation size and amenity is great. Provision of affordable scooter rental was excellent. Free car transfers to Ubud centre. Massage was great. The bedding and villa was kept nice and clean. The AC units and ceiling fans worked very well. Location amongst padi fields

Drop down bamboo screen to the outside eating area was not there as was visible at the adjoining villas, this meant that there were many occasions where we were unable to eat outside as the sun was directly to the table. Inconsistent breakfast timing agreement from the reception. Occasional loss of hot water. Safe is not secured down, so no point really. The 3 viewing window panes outside to the padi fields were mostly obscured due to overgrown greenery.

Amazing villa. Absolutely gorgeous set up for the honeymoon package. A 20 min taxi out of ubud centre but nice to be away from the hussle/bustle, the free shuttle is a great touch. We got a meal included in our honeymoon package and the candlelight dinner was above and beyond what we expected. One of our best meals in Bali. The massages were also unbelievable. My partner’s first ever massage and he absolutely loved it. If you want to have a couple of drinks but don’t want to go into Ubud centre then we would recommend Naga Rooftop Bar - 5-10 min walk from the villa. If you do want to venture into Ubud we recommend Sun Sun Warung for lunch and Arcadia for dinner.

The property was really spacious, nice, and well maintained. The location is secluded in paddy fields within small neighbourhood area, you can have a nice morning walk for some fresh air and meet with the local people. I loveee the bedroom, high ceilings and very clean, and nicely quiet in the morning. If you’re looking for a nice stay from the crowds in ubud, this is the place is for you!

I like everything but since the toilet is semi-outdoor, you might find some tiny bugs, and our toilet floor will be entirely wet with water during rainy season, and makes it slippery for walk. But, overall really nothing the worry about!
