When we arrived Mary offered us tea and coffee with home made scones. Her home is very welcoming. Nothing is no bother to her. Very very helpful person. Her home is very clean and tidy with good shower facilities. She is very accomodating with breakfast times and when we were leaving she printed us out a route planner for our next destination. The range of food she supplies for breakfast was excellent and you would definitely not leave her home hungry. She can cater for people with gluten free allergies as well. All in all it was an excellent house to stay in. I will call again. Its just like home from home.

We had a really lovely stay. The location was so quiet & peaceful but yet well connected to motorways etc. Very comfortable room with a big shower room. Breakfast was fantastic with a wonderful choice of fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts & home baked breads & scones, cheese & jams along with an extensive cooked breakfast menu which was delicious. Mary was very helpful & made us feel welcome. We will be back!

Nothing at all to dislike. A great place to stay.

Beautiful peaceful location. Great view from the cottage where we stayed. The cottage was very clean, comfortable & well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Enjoyed the selection of DVDs in the evenings. We had a wonderful breakfast at the main house on two mornings. Mary is a wonderful hostess. Also really enjoyed learning about the milking and farm operation. Short drive into town.

We were a family of 8 adults and 5 children aged 11 9 6 5 and 2. The farm was great for children there was a room with toys and games that suited all ages which was a bonus to keep them amused. Breakfast was amazing and Mary couldn't do enough for us. She went above and beyond.

The kids were disappointed that they didn't get to see any animals as we had thought with it being a working farm there would be cows, sheep etc.. and we didn't see any.

We vacationed in Ireland for 10 days, and of all the b & b's we stayed at, this was our favorite. Mary was a sweet and welcoming host. We got to walk around their farm and watch the cows being milked. There was a large selection for breakfast with homemade baked goods and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Many places claimed to have homemade baked goods, but this was the real thing. I highly recommend Ballindrum Farm.

Great welcome from Mary - we were hungry and she brought us bread, ham and cheese. Plenty of space, everything worked, and all kitchen utensils / crockery etc were available. Good level of comfort. Quiet. Efficient WiFi. Fine view over the fields from behind the house. Recommended.

No negatives.

I had a week long trip staying in different hotels etc and my stay at Mary's bnb was by far the best. Every single thing was exceptional. A very warm welcome by Mary herself and treated to delicious fresh home baked scones with jam , cream and a pot of tea on arrival. My room was beautiful , exceptionally clean and every comfort I could possibly need. The breakfast was top notch and the location was idyllic, just a couple of minutes from the M9 but set in the most tranquil of locations looking out at all the lush green fields. I hope to be able to stay there again and have already been recommending it to others.

Mary made us so welcome. We checked in and Mary made us tea. We were going to a wedding the following day and so there was no worries about checking out late. Mary was particularly kind, making sure my elderly mother had fresh milk for her tea in the room. A fantastic stay I would highly recommend.

Ballindrum Farm B&B was exceptionally clean and had all of the facilities we needed for our stay. Mary is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and prepared an excellent breakfast. The B&B is also great value for money. I can’t emphasise how much of a great host Mary is who went above and beyond to collect us from the coach stop after experiencing significant delays coming into Athy. I would highly recommend this B&B if you are visiting the area!

Mary is very warm and friendly, the drink and scones (with cream and jam) was a real bonus particularly after a long day getting to the farm. Breakfast lovely, room spacious and comfortable. Mary the host is very helpful and friendly

The location is a little out of the way so you need transport
