We were met by a lovely girl in reception...Saoirse...big smile and eager to help in any way to make our stay memorable.Our room was clean and very comfortable

We had dinner in the bar, and even though it wasn't very busy we were left standing ,for to be shown a table. Once we were seated and handed menus, the waiter never asked if we would like a drink , my husband went up to the bar to order one, and was told it was waiter service, so we had to wait for our waiter to come back to us with our drinks. once we ordered and our food arrived, which was delicious. we had to draw attention to our waiter for the dessert menu,like I said it was not busy, but our waiter was floating around not doing much. We would have had another drink and maybe coffee had we been offered it...that waiter lost out on us spending more money at the bar ,which is not good business sense !

Our room was fantastic. Our bed was so comfortable the room was huge . Breakfast was delicious and hot. Staff were very friendly.

Just a few things about our room . It was very hot the heat was on and we couldn't get the air con working so I asked the front desk to send someone up as we were heading out. When we got back the room was even hotter they had turned the heat back on after we turned it off . But I found a fan . While we were out on the balcony we spotted a wasps nest right by the door. I did tell front desk about it put not sure if they done anything. The shower down stairs was very slippy the water would not drain and I just had my knee replacement so it's very dangerous for that to happen. Other than that we had a great time and will definitely be back a 3th time

Room and bathroom were large and spacious with all the amenities. Food in bar and breakfast the next day were excellent. Staff were very friendly. Didn't make use of spa and leisure centre but would definitely be interested in doing so in the future

Only downside was that we were locked out of our rooms before we had checked out, and before the checkout side. It meant that we had to go down to reception during a busy period to get our cards revalidated so that we could evacuate the room - which I assume was the goal in the first place

Great stay as usual, room was done lovely for us for my partner’s baby moon, with some free chocolates and a swan towel arrangement on the bed. Amazing food, helpful staff, clean comfy room, partner was very happy with the massage we booked in the spa and all around great atmosphere in the hotel.

Would have rated it the full 10 out of 10, the only issue we had was the room was extremely warm. The weather was warm. But the room and bathroom were even warmer. Especially the bathroom, which seemed to have a heated floor. There is a fan provided in the room which slightly helped. But also makes me think it’s not the first time someone has had this issue.

Food was lovely, hotel room was spacious with an amazing shower. The dibber for the TV was the best I had seen - so straightforward - three buttons : on/off - channels - sound. Brilliant!

It was noisy if you wanted to sleep - people enjoying themselves below were laughing and talking into the night. There is building work going on nearby and that noise started off early too. I was not impressed to see workmen in their work clothes sitting nearby me in the restaurant - facilities for workmen should be available onsite or in this case should be screened from guests who are paying large sums of money for the pleasure of all of this.

We had an executive suite and the room was lovely. Very spacious and clean. Facilities were well kept and the hotel itself was really nice. Saoirse on reception was so professional and accommodating so just wanted to highlight her efforts to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast in Herald and Devoy was really nice.

The food at the Bar was not great. Paid €25 for a duck fillet and potatoes. The fillet was very fatty and mostly inedible and I got one potato with my meal. Asked for a garlic mayo and it looked like it had been sat out for hours, was yellow and had lumps of transparency as if it had been left out. Service wasn’t the best in the bar. Staff were quite a while to serve you despite it not being particularly busy. Was like they were avoiding eye contact incase you called them for something. Pint of Guinness also wasn’t the freshest and the bar were quite slow. Overall service in the bar was a 4/10. For a lovely hotel the bar definitely needs looking at.

I was staying for a wedding and everything was great. I had a note in my room welcoming me back after a previous stay which I thought was a lovely touch. Room was clear and had a lovely balcony over looking the courtyard.

One small criticism on the night was the bar staff in the function room the night of the wedding. While I understand it was probably a busy shift, they seemed like they were all new and didn't know how to navigate a wedding crowd, and could only get one drink at a time. Weddings are normally a huge occasion so potentially a manager should have been stationed in the room at all times in order to assist them.

The hotel was nice and clean. Easy to find. The room was lovely. Massive bed, lovely bathroom and all was spotless. The pool once there was clean and not too busy. Changing room was clean and spacious.

Restaurant wasn't open. To get a table in the bar was treated like a restaurant booking. Staff seemed under pressure and forgot to bring us two portions of fries. The swimming pool was difficult to access . You have to go outside the building and up and down stairs. Water bottles have no lids on which I mentioned to receptionist none do she replied.

The hotel was very comfortable, we stayed in the executive suite very spacious, beautiful bathroom. We had food and drinks in the bar, and food was delicious. Bit of a wait for drink as it seems to be popular with cocktails other than that staff where lovely .

The hot breakfast wasn't nice although a good selection, sausages were not good Quality bacon looked half done, the lady refilling the hot breakfast kept closing the lids while guests were serving themselves a bit rude . This would be my only negative answer.

The hotel was very well appointed with good parking facilities. The location was good for people with cars and not too bad if you are walking into the town centre or nearby restaurants. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was in good condition and was tidy and well-presented. Staff at the reception desk and in the restaurant & bar were very helpful.

I found the breakfast experience was somewhat mixed. It would not put me off returning to the hotel but fussier guests might moan about it.
