This was a truly magical find. The house looked over the lake and mountains with a fabulous sunset. The lounge area was large with comfortable chairs. The room was huge and very cosy. I wish we stayed longer to appreciate it more. Josephine was very welcoming, and she is an incredible artist with paintings throughout the house. I even bought a pebble painting for remembrance. Barry gave us great tips for our journey around the Ring of Beara. Both people are lovely. The breakfast was incredible both hot and cold oversions on the menu. Absolutely a wonderful place to stay. Great value.

Starting upon our arrival, the hostess was fantastic. She greeted us and made us feel welcome immediately. The room was great with a fantastic view. She made excellent recommendations regarding where to eat and for activities and points of interest in the area. She took the time to learn about us and what we were interested in. The hostess worked with us to get a local taxi. She offered to take us to the bus when we were leaving for no cost.

This is nothing negative about the facility or hostess, we had difficulty finding an ATM that was operational and therefore had a problem initially paying for the taxi. The taxi operator was extremely cooperative and worked with us. Eventually we were able to resolve the issue.

What a joy EdenCrest was. After a long drive in bad weather,this was a perfect place to be. The owner, Josephine, greeted us with smiles. She quickly saw we were very tired and dispensed us to our beautiful room. Such a beautiful room. A large comfy double bed with soft crisp clean sheets and a colourful quilt. Attention to detail was amazing. The host had thought of everything ! Kettle- coffee- tea supplies plus a bottle of water for the kettle. Extra pillows. Hair drier etc. The room was spotlessly clean. I had requested a window that opened - got a large window which I’m sure in better weather would have beautiful view! Slept like a baby and woke to lovely soft music playing downstairs. The breakfast room was airy,bright and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! Great selection. Something for everyone’s taste. The host,Josephine is a ray of sunshine. She really cares about her guests and it shows. Would happily recommended and hope to revisit her. Private parking. Wi-Fi cover and free. Easy to find. Great location.

Josephine is a lovely welcoming host ,nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is very good. The room is very clean and comfortable. Safe parking on site.Lots of little extra touches and very homely. Josephine made sure we were packed up with lots of extra goodies for lunch and filled our flask, sorted out a taxi, and offered suggestions on where to eat when we arrived.

The only thing we would mention is that we had room2 a lovely ground floor room with a big shower and whirlpool bath however the bathroom lacked a roller blind. Whilst it did have frosted glass we felt a roller blind would have offered a little more privacy. Also being room2 the morning music in the hall way was quite loud, it does however get you up and going and In the holiday mood, Not so good if you fancy a lie in.

Nothing could have been bettered, from the warm welcome to a fond goodbye. Josephine and Barry went out of their way to make this a stay to remember. We were exceptionally lucky to have found them and Edencrest. The breakfasts were exceptional and the facilities delightful.

Josephine is an excellent and very friendly hos, offering the warmest of welcomes and runs her B&B in a very professional way. She even organised a taxi into town for us. Room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast offered a wide range of options- ours was delicious.

Delightful friendly welcome - the best stay on our 2 week drive travel through Southern Ireland. Very, very comfortable with a wonderful airy bedroom from which we could enjoy a superb view of the Bay.

Very nice lady of the house. Josephine took very well care of us. Very tidy and clean room. Beautiful and plenty of room. Stunning view from the room!!! Lovely breakfast. Good instructions and tips from Barry, we enjoyed O Sullivans seafood sandwich. The best stay ever. I would definitely recommend!

Edencrest is situated just off the N71 some 2km outside Bantry. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast worthy of special mention for both quantity and quality. Bantry is an ideal place to use as a centre for touring the area particularly around the Beare Peninsular and along Bantry Bay and information on places to eat and visit was plentiful.

Wonderful warm welcome with an Irish coffee on arrival! Our hosts were very friendly, couldn't have been more helpful and were able to offer lots of advice about travelling in the area. Our room was beautiful, very comfy and spotlessly clean. Splendid breakfast. Sadly we only had one night and could happily have stayed longer.

Nothing we didn't like. Some slightly thicker towels would have been the icing on an otherwise splendid cake.
