Staff so friendly and helpful, excellent location, very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean hotel.

Garden suite layout is poor: bathroom and wardrobe inside the door, then you have to go through the living room to get to the bedroom which has no wardrobe or anywhere to hang up clothes.

I stayed in the Garden Suite. The only negative was that it was so tranquil with 2 walls of windows that I didn't want to leave and do tourist activities; I felt so relaxed just being in the suite. That aside, it is only a few minutes walk to the center of town and restaurants and tour excursions -- but those few minutes away make it a tranquil oasis. I only stayed 3 nights, but I would like to return to the area, and if I do, I will stay at this boutique hotel. The lobby and common areas are tastefully decorated, as was my room. The staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful.

My Mam and I liked everything about Brooklodge. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Adriana, everything was fantastic. The room was very spacious,comfortable, and spotless. The breakfast was great, and very good value. Every one of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent. Even though it is around the corner from the main street of Killarney town,it felt as if it was in the country as it was so quiet, and has a lovely garden. The property has a spacious car park which is an added bonus.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. The lobby is pretty. Everyone was absolutely kind and helpful. Breakfast was nice - good selection and well presented. The room was large and pretty. Our room was on the first floor with big windows. The location was great! Down a lane and you're in the heart of young. Danny Mann pub was nice with good food and entertainment. We were both happy and would recommend highly!

Internet was lacking.

Our room exceeded expectations. On the booking.com site, it was listed as a triple room with a double bed and a twin bed, What we received was 2 queen beds in a very large room (much larger than I have experienced in Ireland before) and the amenities were great. Location was excellent - easily walkable to the main street of shops. Also - there was a great breakfast (either continental for 5-6 Euro or menu items like Full Irish Breakfast and French toast for a bit more. Overall, a lovely stay.

No cats on premise. A property is always a bit better when there is a house cat.

Beautiful property!!! Wonderful staff!!! Our suite was very large & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Located in a quiet residential area, yet close to center of town - within walking distance. The recommended David Mann restaurant was cozy. My husband loved his chicken sandwich. I had the fish & chips - did not like the fish at all. Couldn't believe it when told it was cod (I love cod!) Highly recommend this place!!

Our room at Brook Lodge was huge! Everything was handicap accessible. Even though we did not require it, we though that was a great feature. The free parking on site was wonderful. My daughter rates it as one of her favorite places to stay during our trip to Ireland.

It was a little inconvenient having to leave the room key at reception when we went out. The lady at the reception desk in the evening was a little stern, but the one in the morning was very sweet.

We were in the garden suite which was spacious and comfortable. The bed was huge and the sheets super soft! We got a very nice welcome pack for the dog (blanket, toy, treats etc) which offset somewhat the sting of the €30 pet charge. The location was great, just off the high street so a really short walk to all the shops, pubs and restaurants.

Elements of the room not entirely clean - the windows were dirty which was particularly noticeable in the garden suite with otherwise nice view to the small garden area (not private but nice anyway). There were quite a few bugs on the floor by the outside door. All other elements of the room were very clean though, but I mention this as the price was pretty high so I expect high quality throughout. The bedroom of the suite has a lovely high vaulted type ceiling but when it rained in the morning it was like sleeping inside a drum kit! Rooms are not at all soundproof (which I suspect was more of a problem for our neighbours when my husband watched an early evening football game) but we could hear every word from people in reception as the room is directly off the main entrance.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always remembering our son’s name and making a fuss of him at breakfast. The room was a really good size with a lovely, big bath in the bathroom. The food was fantastic, the room was lovely and clean and it is a brilliant location.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and none of us slept well despite additional duvets to lie on. It was expensive.

This hotel was amazing in every way! The place was immaculate clean, the staff were so Friendly and helpful. The housekeeping staff went out of their way to make the rooms up each morning to an excellent standard. They even folded My 2 young daughters pyjamas and laid out their cuddly toys cutely on the bed. The breakfast was amazing and such a great selection. There is not one thing I can fault about this hotel. I can highly recommended this stay.
