Staff were incredibly attentive, they gave the hotel the luxury touch it deserves and really elevated the whole atmosphere of the hotel. The facilities were clean, well equipped and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were both incredible. Service was quick and on point and the food was divine. Genuinely an experience that makes you smile with every mouthful it is such a pleasure to eat.

Signage could be better on there exterior of the hotel. Google maps shows a road access point which is no longer viable so this needs updating and once on the property it is confusing where to go/park at first.

Beautiful, luxury hotel with the most fabulous staff. Honestly they were all very friendly; nothing was too much of a hassle. Lovely Laura on reception was welcoming & accommodating from the outset of our experience. There was also a very friendly, attentive member of staff at breakfast who got us seated (we didn't manage to get her name, possibly a manager?!) but she is exactly the type of person you want to meet and greet you first thing and make you feel comfortable and accommodated. The amazing staff are definitely what made our experience a highly recommended one to friends & family. In fact, we've booked again for a couple of weeks time. The location is perfect, a short walk over the bridge and you're in the centre. Gorgeous bakery attached which we sampled on the way home. Also highly recommend. We cannot wait to come back.

We loved our stay at the Ebrington and will return to Derry someday in part just to stay there again!!! With such a long list of things we liked, it's hard to know where to start! STAFF: Absolutely stellar in every way. Cheerful, kind, helpful, just the right amount of chatty, and full of area knowledge that helped us make some changes to our itinerary that we didn't even know we needed! In particular, we want to mention the following fantastic folks: Concierge Jerry (@JerryFromDerry), who is a walking encyclopedia of area info, has the most lovely personality, helped us navigate arrival & departure with our too-many bags, and made sure we took full advantage of all their amenities. Blonde Emma and Brunette Emma, who were friendly and efficient and also extremely helpful in advising on small towns around and places to dine (The Blackbird was a great reco!). Jarlath, who recommended their seasonal Christmas tea, and it was delicious... he even brought us to-go cups of it as we headed out for our morning walk. Nate, whose wit and charm know no bounds; we tried to sit in his area each morning for breakfast. Oh, and the breakfast!!! Something for everyone (including vegans and gluten-free folks alike), and so very tasty. We ate a light'ish dinner each evening b/c we looked so forward to the breakfast sausages and beans! :) The room itself? Heavenly mattress with the perfect support for my injured lower back, plus premium comfort of memory foam. We slept so beautifully there! Plenty of room for all our stuff, very nice bathroom with great water pressure and enough space for toiletries. Other things we loved about the room: A window that actually opens, for when a hot flash struck, the lovely cartons of water and oat cookies for a wee treat, and streaming services so while getting ready each day, we could rewatch Derry Girls in Derry. :)

Truly, the only thing we didn't like was having to leave and head back to the US. :) Our suggest improvements are admittedly nitpicky: The room could do with a towel warming rack to help dry everything (including our spa clothes, which stayed damp for days) and milder hand soap -- we both had an aversion to the extremely strong matronly floral perfume of the hand soap. The spa pool was weirdly body-temp (which made us think of childhood summers when that was a dead giveaway that someone had taken a wee in the pool near you); we both expected it to be more like a hot tub (but cold would've been nice, too, for post-hiking knees).

You are made to feel so special from the moment you arrive. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and so comfortable. If your looking for that special hotel with the wow factor this is the one. The location is excellent. The food is absolutely amazing and fresh. Great choice of breakfast. I cannot wait to return

You are charged £6 a night for parking and only have 20 mins to get back to your car. With being with a group of friends and it took us a bit longer saying our goodbyes we had run out of time. Had to go back down to hotel to get ticket validated again to get out of carpark. On arriving at hotel we weren't sure where to go for carpark and then how to get from carpark to the hotel. Maybe a bit of signage for directions would be needed

The service, all the staff were so friendly and helpful, making our stay so special, the decor is beautiful throughout, the location perfect. The hotel was lovely and clean, a beautiful scent when we walked into the lobby. A wonderful man was there to greet us the second day with some mulled wine and mince pies. The receptionists went above and beyond, by far the best hotel we have visited. The restaurant staff were all so lovely, smiles always and swift service. All the staff appeared to genuinely love working there and love to provide great customer service, thriving from the joy they bring to customers.

Firstly the decor is beautiful. The staff were tidy , informative and pleasant. They couldn’t do enough for us . The actual position on the Hotel looking down on Derry across the peace bridge made it a wonderful vantage point. We had a private tour across the bridge and came back to the hotel to be greeted in reception with little mince pies and candy canes . These little extras made everything very christmasy and special . At night outside was lit up with fairy lights in the trees and it looked magical . We ate in the bar on arrival . The food was delicious and piping hot , then dinner in the Oak restaurant with friends . Again delicious.. and the staff were very attentive .

Breakfast was excellent as was the ambiance in the restaurant. Excellent fish and chips for dinner. Only reservation was that the heating was a little high in the dining area for us. Next door pub was very welcoming and it was only a short walk over the Peace Bridge to the city side of Derry.

Our room was very nice but way too warm during the night which might have been the fault of the very comfortable bed coverings.. Also could be improvements with sound proofing as very loud flushing sounds from above and adjacent rooms. If we were to stay in the Ebrington again which we will we will ask for a room with a proper window and view.

First morning no hot buffet breakfast but cold buffet and cereals available. The waitress informed us about this but said we could order from the a la carte breakfast menu which we did- my friend had the 2 duck egg omelette with ham. I asked for a smaller one duck egg omelette with cheese and tomato which was equally delicious. on our second morning full hot buffet available which was superb. Service was excellent.

There was nothing I could really fault. Front desk staff were excellent. Spacious room. The hotel opened last year and you have to walk over the Peace Bridge to get to the main walled city but that wasn't an issue. I was allowed to use the Spa area but didn't have time to book a treatment. Maybe one issue we were in room 128 and it was a bit of a pain to get there going through several doors where you either needed your key card or had to press a button to progress,

location was perfect. Our fabulous room overlooked the River Foyle and the impressive contemporary pedestrian Peace Bridge. A 6/7 minute stroll leads to the city centre and the impressive medieval city walls. The atmosphere in this hotel is excellent and all the staff are friendly and most helpful. Special mention to Julie on reception who went the extra mile in arranging taxis to visit a local restaurant. Note........most taxis in Northern Ireland do not accept cards for payment (as is compulsory in Rep. of Ireland) and Julie arranged for them to stop at an ATM......not a big issue unless one has no cash in one's wallet!!! We had dinner in the bar on two of our four nights and we were really pleased with the food and the most attentive and friendly waiter. i wish that I could remember his name.....sorry! We would most certainly return and highly recommend the Ebrington Hotel. Plenty of very interesting things o do in the city and wider locality. Recommend booking the City and Walls walking tours, the Guildhall, choose from various great museums, amazing 40 minute train trip to Coleraine and back (refer to Michael Palin report), "Wild Ireland", Co Donegal, which is 15 mins drive from the hotel, "Dooagh Famine Village", Co Donegal, 45 mins drive from hotel. All excellent holiday activities. All in all, we had a super stay........thank you!

Nothing......all was great.
