Patricia is a lovely host and she provides excellent service, outstanding breakfasts, and local knowledge about the best way to drive to attractions. The accommodation is in a peaceful location which is an easy drive around 25 minutes from Galway. While some aspects of the accommodation are a little dated, it is clean and comfortable and we have no hesitation in staying here again.
Nothing.

During our two day stay we had a big room including a bathroom to ourselves. Even though the breakfast times are fixed our host made an exception as we had to get to the ferry early in the morning and we could eat half an hour earlier then usually possible. To make it as fast as possible she even took our order for the meal immediately so we would not loose any time in the morning. In addition we got a great recommendation for a dinner place in Oughterard. We had a very pleasant stay!
As the place is situated near a lot of trees, you have to take when opening the windows that you dont let in spiders or other insects.

We were doing s tour of Ireland and as it was a Saturday all the hotels in the area were full so we booked the guest house. I think the lady who ran the guest house was called Patricia, she was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgable of amenities in the area. The guest house is situated just outside a lovely little town with a great thatched pub called Powers which served superb food. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area. By the way my husband said it wss the best Urush breakfast we had during the holiday

A lovely welcome awaited us by host Patricia. Very accommodating as we were arriving later than usual. Lovely room, immaculatly presented. Comfy bed. Tea facilities in room... always a bonus. Needed to leave early in the morning and Patricia offered us a continental breakfast at 730am. Nothing was a problem.
A very minor thing... It was a very warm night and it would be nice to open the main window wider than was permitted for h&s reasons presumably. .

Signage from the main road was clear so it was easy to find the property. The room was very clean and spacious enough to be comfortable. Breakfast was excellent .. well-cooked and satisfying. Our host was friendly, very attentive and happy to oblige. We enjoyed a very pleasant few days of our holiday at Mountain View.
Our ground-floor room window overlooked the car parking area so privacy was compromised somewhat while the curtains weren't drawn.

Everything was just perfect - Patricia was the perfect host giving us lots of great information on where to get dinner, local spots to visit and just general banter! We had the best room in the place (imo). Breakfast was fabulous and i felt thoroughly spoilt!
I could have stayed longer!

Everything was just perfect for our needs; room & ensuite both immaculate, with full tea/coffee-making facilities. Patricia was a charming and very accommodating host and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious, too! :)

The room was super clean, has a lot of comfort items to make you feel at home, very comfortable, and the owner Patricia was amazing. She went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this guesthouse for anyone visiting Connemara. She was extremely accommodating and served our breakfast earlier, as we had early ferry to go to Aran islands. So this was a big plus. The service was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there. Great location, easy to get in and out of the city. The guesthouse is well maintained. The beds were very firm, too firm for my liking. The breakfast was too good, felt like staying at the parents house. I, especially, enjoyed the view of the sunset.

Patricia is a wonderful host. We felt very welcome and at home. The room was spotlessly clean and very quiet. Lovely breakfast this morning.
Only very small things but it was a bit chilly last night and there’s a lack of accessible sockets in the room. For the kettle etc. It’s so nice though it doesn’t really matter!

Patricia was a lovely host with good recommendations for the area. Breakfasts were generous. The room was large, had a beautiful view, and a good amount of storage space for our things.
