Nyle was absolutely amazing! He was so nice and friendly and so helpful in carrying our bag upstairs, giving us advice on local sites to see, and even helping us try and track down some of our ancestors counties! Such a nice guy! Breakfast was exceptional! The pastries were divine and our eggs Benedict and French toast were perfect! Homemade strawberry jam with scones were a hit!

The property has a really comfortable feel about it. We felt very relaxed our whole time there. The log fires and lounge area was our favourite

There was a smelly drain situation, which was resolved once we advised the receptionist. The TV did not work in the room, they use international remotes and even after being replaced the maintenance man couldn’t get it working which was a shame as we like to relax and watch tv in bed. I overheard the receptionist offering a discounted price for another room that had plumbing issues. We were not offered anything, but I also didn’t bring it up on checkout.

The Armada House is a wonderful hotel. The staff make sure everything is the way you want it -- the chocolates and Irish Cream in the room was a nice touch. The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were superb. Kitty did an amazing job on the breakfasts. There are several common rooms to relax in during the evening and enjoy a drink.

Breakfast was absolutely fabulous The room was nice, but it could have been more cosy.. the floors were hard, a few scatter rugs would have been nice. living area was adequate, & while there were 2 chairs there, there could have been another chair / couch to put stuff on, The wardrobe was old style quaint, which was nice but not practical, so a few hooks or another chair to put stuff on would have been good. The shower was very basic, but did the trick

My experience was exceptional, I stayed here the night before my wedding. The room had an interlocking room with mirrors and make up chairs for pre wedding prep. This entailed 8 of us getting ready the morning of my wedding with plenty of room. The view from the room was amazing, both windows had sea views. Also we got Prosecco and breakfast to the room which was "out of this world". To add to this we ordered coffee from GULLS cafe. The Armada staff and professionalism was nothing but outstanding. Thank you

Beautifully decorated. The beds are SO comfortable and the shower is fab. The courtyard rooms are a little small but perfect for a night or two. There is no wardrobe in this room but they have been considerate and there are enough hangers and drawers to get you by. The breakfast is absolutely exceptional, like an afternoon tea. The staff were so, so lovely. Lots of parking and gorgeous sea views.

Excellent location, close to the Armada hotel, plenty of parking, we had a room in the guest house at the back - it was a very small room but they managed to give us a large bed and a nice size bathroom with the space. Excellent breakfast each day and the house has lots of common rooms to sit and read/relax during the day. Guests also have access to the Armada hotel during the stay to have dinner.

The whole experience was very relaxed and quite special. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. We loved the old world charm throughout the whole property. The complimentary silver service tea/coffee as and when we requested was an added luxury. The breakfast setting was beautiful with a good variety of food options. The lounge areas just invited you to chill a while! It was the perfect short stay.

We booked quite late and didn't get a sea view room. This, I would rectify for our next visit. However this is just a personal thing. There was nothing to dislike about our stay.

Fantastic service from the moment we arrived. Staff were amazing. The extra little touches eg mulled wine, chocolates in the room etc were so appreciated. We have stayed in a few hotels in the last 6 weeks and Armada House looked after us better than any of the others

Exceptional and unique breakfast experience with appetities, amazing egg benedict and beautiful coffee. A very friendly and hard working staff catered for my every need.

A litttle on the pricy side however, lots of added surprises and attention to detail means I woud stay here again.
