I loved every thing about my stay! It was perfect, the view, the personal staff & everything was really clean! The breakfast buffet had everything aswell.

I liked the breakfast buffet , a variety of food and I loved the hot chocolate! The view from our room was fantastic, especially at night, where the city was light up. Oakwood Premier Melbourne has very good security, but you could still move freely around. Definitely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a safe, beautiful and clean hotel in Melbourne.

There could have been 1 more bed but apart from that everything is good. There also could have been more toliteries.

- The staff was super friendly and even helped us with an early checking in. - The room was super nice and you have a great view on the city.

- The location is a bit outside but nothing bad. It is like a 30min walk to the center.

Beds are super comfy, views are amazing, facilities are top notch. Walking distance to the DFO, Convention Centre, Yarra River and shops. Wished I stayed longer.

Its how to get there. We were at the DFO with luggage and shopping and taxis were not happy to take us to the hotel because of the short distance. This was the same from the Crown Resorts area at 11 pm. We had to walk. Not that it's the hotel's fault but it's just a good to know. Did uber and didi from the Southern Cross station and because it's another close proximity had a couple of cancellation from drivers. There's a tram line plus 5 mins walk but it was late at night so the trams were not as frequent.

Breakfast was lovely a lot of variety.good service by the restaurant staff.

The housekeeping was very poor. The day we checked in and went to our room it was not ready after being told by reception it was. Got transferred to another room after waiting for 2 hours. 2nd day beds made but tea coffee and writing pad not replaced. Carpets and coffee table not wiped down. 3 Rd day room not made up after leaving instructions for it to be made up. Again left without tea coffee note pad and soaps. Sad to say the hotel was amazing as were their reception staff but housekeeping has let this lovely hotel down . Would stay again if management does something about housekeeping.

We enjoyed the breakfast, the view of the port on the SW side or of the city on the NE side, the Oakwood hour, the comfort of the apartment, the cleanliness throughout, the 25 minute walk to Port Melbourne Beach, and the 10 minute walk to the promenade along the Yarra River. However, what impressed us the most was the entire staff.. They were engaging, professional, welcoming, and very helpful. These are well trained individuals who understand the importance of customer satisfaction. We were satisfied. Bravo!

Can't think of anything worth mentioning.

The room itself was very well-equipped and nicely furnished. However, we had originally booked a Deluxe Studio but, due to early check-in restrictions, were advised to upgrade to an Executive Studio for an extra $350. Aside from the room being on a higher floor, we couldn’t tell much difference between it and the original booking based on photos.

The Executive Studio was supposed to have access to the executive lounge, which advertised complimentary snacks, drinks, and wine etc. Unfortunately, we found the lounge completely empty; instead, there was only a limited "happy hour" at the hotel bar, which wasn’t what we’d expected or paid for. Housekeeping was a bit underwhelming. While they did the basics like changing the bed linens and towels daily, it wasn’t clear if they thoroughly cleaned each day. I have dust allergies, and the carpet felt noticeably dusty, suggesting they might not vacuum regularly.

I am quite choosy when it comes to hotels, and I’m not easy to please. However, Oakwood Premier Melbourne is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at worldwide. After a long flight, we arrived at the hotel early at 9 am and were in dire need of rest. The reception staff were accommodating and managed to check us in early, upgrading us to a higher floor for an extra fee. Given our situation, we were grateful for this flexibility. The room itself was spacious, modern, and luxurious, equipped with all the amenities we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, and utensils. Everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect rest after long days exploring Melbourne. The bathroom was stocked with high-quality, luxurious toiletries, and both the hot water and air conditioning worked flawlessly. The view from our room was simply amazing and added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly and attentive. One small but thoughtful gesture was when we requested a vacuum cleaner to clean our bags before checking out, and they were kind enough to let us borrow one. It’s little things like this that made our stay feel special and personalized. In summary, coming back to such a comfortable and well-appointed room after a day out exploring truly made our holiday a memorable one. Every aspect of the stay felt worth the money spent.

The only minor downside of our stay was the lack of responsiveness when trying to reach the hotel staff by phone. We needed to request something but found it difficult to get through, which meant we had to go down to the reception each time. It would be more convenient if they improved their phone service for guests.

Impeccable customer service from the entire Oakwood team. Apart from the great location and outstanding room, I wanted to express a big thank you to Eugenio in particular for helping me dealing with my very delayed luggage that only arrived after I left Melbourne, he made sure it was stored safely until I managed to get a courier company to send it back. Communication was smooth and everything was so easy to deal with. 100% would come back again and stay.

We loved the room size - much bigger than we could have got anywhere else for the same price. Also loved the facilities - the kitchenette was great and the new TV and big bed were very enjoyable. We didn't have time in the end to use the gym (we were only there one night), but next time we would use that also. We were planning to walk into the city for breakfast on the morning we left, but it was a very hot morning so we cancelled that in the end. Definitely do-able though if you would prefer to stay a little further out and walk back in...

The only downside really was the air-conditioning. It was too cold and too noisy with the air-conditioning on (not sure why, but it was very noisy in our room), and too warm with it off...so we found it hard to control the climate in our room.
