This place is great! So much fun, there were activities almost every night in the outdoor space. The restaurant is to die for! Unbelievable food and drink. Ask the bartender to make something different for you, it will be magic!

I feel like it was really pricey for what you get. It’s a very kitschy, themed place which makes it a lot of fun, but the nightly charge doesn’t include parking, which is an extra $15/day. I stayed for a total of 14 nights and it was well over $3,000. Also, the restaurant, while seriously fantastic was also very pricey. For two of us with dinner and one virgin drink each, it was over $150. Not unheard of, but not what I expected from a resident motel restaurant.

Really hip and comfy hotel in downtown Phoenix, with a lovely patio/garden area lined with a bar and food truck ,as well as the restaurant Chilte (seemingly very popular, though we didn't eat there). About a 5-10 minute walk to some cafes and restaurants, though you may prefer to drive given the ample parking and not-so-nice neighborhood for walking. Excellent coffee in the morning.

Our heater stopped working at around 9pm even though it looked brand new. A coffee/tea maker in the room would be a nice addition. We would've used that more than the giant fridge and microwave!

The staff here is probably the number one thing I'm going to recommend they are amazing people! In my opinion you could stay tonight so tell like this and have s***** employees and it will ruin the entire experience. I am blind so I change to see the nastier side of customer service representatives and instead here at the Egyptian motor hotel I had nothing but kindness laughter and friendship. This hotel is not of everything from privacy drapes around your patio to foosball tables out in the public area You could honestly have a vacation and never leave the hotel they have their own restaurant they have their own live venue stage if you could think of something that you want on vacation they probably have it right there without ever stepping off the premises

The only thing that I didn't love was that while I was there they did not have conditioner and my hair goes down to my hips but honestly with everything else being so perfect I'm already planning my next trip I'll just make sure to pack my own shampoo and conditioner lol

The room was comfortable, well equipped. It has a big refrigerator, microwave and good fornitura. And the decoración is original. The patio in front of the rooms is very attractive; most interesting. The staff was nice.

Incredibly, I stayed four nights and they were unable to fix (maybe just change batteries) the safe box. Also, the TV control did not work. Maintainence seems to be very bad, which is sad because the place is very good. At night, It is hard to find the hotel entrance.

The outdoor space is great. The room has a fun ambience.

Check in is a bit wonky, even though I noted we were going to get in later, at 8:45. It took a while to find someone and took a long time to actually get our keys. Restaurant wasn't open and there's not much around. No one was hanging out, which was why I booked the hotel. Apparently I expected too much from a Monday. The room was fine, cute and kitschy but some things are not practical for this day in age, like the outlet boxes across the room from the bed and I thought it was odd there were only 2 room type options, king or bunk beds.

We really enjoyed our stay, the fun retro decor, and overall great atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful including the outdoor bar. There's games all around the outside bar area and tons of different seating options. Just as a side note to check-in there is a little slider window beneath the stairs at the end of the restaurant chilte, was a little confusing with our late arrival. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family, just be mindful music on the weekends does run late and they offer ear plugs if it's not your thing.

As a heads up, the parking lot is pretty small so you may have to street park when there is live music or events.

I love the vibe of this hotel! Our greetings from the front desk agent was amazing. She was so welcoming and was very happy to even show my husband and I the trailer unit that could be occupied as well!

I didn't like that the floors were VERY dirty as well as the bathrooms were a bit grungy. I also didn't like that the shower didn't have full coverage and the water was splashing out all over the bathroom floors.

This place was super clean and kept up! The lounge pool and restrooms outside were so artsy and funky! Loved it! The bar area in courtyard was fantastic even tho it was closed due to high heat but understandable since it was 114° the day we stayed. Super friendly staff!!

The area of town was a little 'shady' but felt safe enough inside hotel area. No coffee or breakfast but McDonald's was right down the street so no big deal.

What a great hotel. They took the time to make it so unique and hip!! Best hotel for miles around.

We loved to whole bar/dj thing in the courtyard but the dj had volume on high when place was virtually empty. I suggest playing softer lounge music as people trickle into bar area in early evening. People are there to talk and socialize and having to yell over the music especially when no one is there?? Well, we went elsewhere for dinner because of it and we would have loved to stay if we could have heard each other speak. But we love the set up and concept…

My only regret on my first trip to the US is that I didn't stay here longer! We arrived very late due to a flight delay, but the gentleman on reception was more than happy to deal with us, and seemed legitimately interested to speak to us (we discussed the music scene in Sheffield, UK!). The room was fantastic with lots of quirkly features, but more importantly, a very comfy bed! Had the most delicious coffee from the cafe on site in the morning. Such a lovely place to stay! My partner and I highly recommend the Egyptian Motor Hotel!
