The staff was very pleasant and helpful and went out of the way to make sure we were comfortable.

We made reservations in September 2024 and ask for extra pillows and a shower chair. When we arrived on 10 October, I asked the front desk was there extra pillows and shower chair in the room. She stated the pillows were there, but they had been so busy, she couldn’t find a shower chair. She searched for several hours which we really appreciate it. The next day we asked again if one had been located she apologize after going around looking. In the future if certain things are not available, by our arrive time it would be nice to have a heads up. Other than that, the staff the rooms the cleaning staff everything was wonderful would definitely stay again even though we did get what was ask for.

Its nice room and breakfast too. This is great for location for U of L area or airport. We got back late and the air conditioner came on once after nothing for 29 minutes. I got in the shower and braided hair damp. It came back on 2 hrs later and not again all night. I was in bed getting hotter. I could hear something trying to turn on and it would go off. I slept 2 hours only from being hot and had to go watch my swear in for Army and go to airport to see him off and I had to drive home. It was very clean and a nice room. We had breakfast and were watched like a hawk just as read reviews and I didn’t notice until my daughter in law said so. I was disappointed from the weekend before when my son was told the wrong day to leave for boot camp and I checked in to find out he was not leaving until the next week, it was our whole Labor Day holiday ruined and spent driving and losing money. Staff told me not able to do a thing about it. Then I messaged Best western a few days later and explained what happened and they apologized and thanked my son for his service. Told me they forwarding it onto management at the Premiere Best Western I stayed st in Shively and would hear from them. I never heard a word from them at all. I thought it was Nice and safe place considering the area. The management doesn’t seem to care to reach out nor tell the kitchen staff to not watch people like doing something wrong. I may try again elsewhere since we will be doing Traveling often with son in Military now. Flying out of Louisville and having a daughter at school there, so it would have been nice to have a liked hotel set for these occasion's. I wanted to like them and explained would be coming back the next weekend even, but no one contacted me. It was handled poorly and disappointing.

the place was awesome good breakfast everything was very good and I'm usually picky so that's says alot about the food. the staff from the cleaning staff to front desk to the driver of the hotel van everyone was beyond nice made

the beds honestly were the only problem I had they r just kinda old n not as confty as they should be that is all. I also slammed the door shut when I was packing up to leave but that just sucked cause I locked myself out. but yeah other then not sleeping great cause the bed sorta sucked. only issue in 4 days. everything was fine otherwise.

This was our third stay at the property. We come to Louisville for Kentucky Kingdom and the property is about a seven to ten minute drive which is nice. We typically just stay at the room and order food, but this time we ventured out and we were very pleased with the amount of food choices within a mile or two of the room. The staff is always very friendly and we appreciate the options for breakfast! Our room towels stayed stock and there was a great selection of toiletries. We will be back!

No complaints. The beds are slightly firm which was fine. I prefer to sleep on a cloud but it didn’t keep us from sleeping good! It really is a great property!

It was convenient to where we were going to, room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was good & they changed it up a little each day.

We were right across from the elevator, so there was quite a bit of noise early in the morning & late at night as people were coming & going. Asked for a receipt when I checked out. I think the clerk just saw my shirt & assumed I booked through the festival and told me my receipt would come from them (rather than actually looking it up), so that's why I gave a 9 for the staff.

Room was very spacious, loved having a couch and the gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Free parking and all the complimentary toiletries in the room were massive bonuses, beds were super comfortable.

Shower mat was a bit dirty, managed to swap out for a new one straight away though so happy with that service. Didn't love the parking lot, we got back from a night time river cruise to find workers drinking out the back of their cars (boots were filled with quite a lot of alcohol so didn't feel too safe getting out of the car or leaving the car)

Check in was quick and the guy at the front desk was really friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms really are stunning, they’re like something from a far more upmarket branded hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and big. It had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was comfortable as well. We would stay here again, the room was really great for the price we paid. Couldn’t find any fault in the hotel itself. We didn’t use the gym / pool so cannot comment for those.

It’s not in the nicest area of town, but we didn’t feel unsafe.

I was attending a conference at the Crown Plaza but stayed here instead, The rate was better and upon seeing my room, the room was even better, The breakfast was more than standard, If you were still hungry when you left breakfast it is your own fault. The beds were comfortable: the room was clean: and i don't know what kind of air freshener they use but the hotel smelled wonderful.

The only thing that would have been better is there is not much room in the bathroom. Other than that, I had no complaints.

We were a family of 4,and had towels for 3people,there's no ventilation in the bathroom but it's not a big deal,we booked the hotel because of the pool and pool wasn't available,check in took longer than usual,and when it was time finally time to enter the room the card was not working so we had to wait even longer after a long day of traveling,because the staff which wasn't very pleasant ,had to check 1st that we were not lying and then switched us to another room and was standing in front of our door to get new signatures,while I was trying to accommodate my kids.I believe that she should give us some privacy and wait out . Other than these the hotel is updated and nice

Comfortable room and very good variety at breakfast. Also, the staff was very nice and helpful. We also appreciated the free parking and security at the building. The location was close to the highway making it easy to get around Louisville.

The hotel was very expensive for a Best Western. We assumed it was because there was an important event that weekend (golf tournament) but it is frustrating to pay almost $275/night.
