I cannot stress enough about how wonderful our stay here was! And such amazing value for what you pay. AMAZING location, the room was fantastic (appreciated having a bath & a large bathroom after not having one for some time!), the breakfast nook was beautiful & the hosts were so lovely & accommodating. It ticked so many boxes for us & felt like home everytime we came back. The breakfast was delightful with freshly baked croissants & good coffee, with a really nice selection of pastries. We also did a cooking class by Cristina, which was the highlight of my stay at this b&b. It was such an intimate setting & also some of the best tortelloni and definitely the best tagliatelle ragu we had in Bologna (and we had a lot!). It was so lovely of her to also dine with us & share stories of Italy, her family & her home (: EDIT. Had to add this in too but they were so kind to cover our taxi fare to the station after a little miscommunication around what time we needed the booking. I can say these guys have gone above & beyond my expectations. We’ll be back if we’re in Bologna for sure!

The B&B has an amazing location, you can pretty much cover all of Bologna old town by a walk. It is surrounded by many choices of restaurants and bars ....the standard of food is so high everywhere we tried was superb! Nicholas and Martina are really helpful and knowledgeable as hosts.

I'm a light sleeper, there are groups of people who can gather outside in the middle of the night and talk loudly. I guess this is part of staying so central in a university city. The breakfast was v basic with some fruit and pastries with great coffee. If you like an egg based breakfast best to go to one of the many surrounding cafes.

Lovely stay, staff helpful and welcoming. We arrived very early and could drop off our bags and have a little walk around bologna, then returned for coffee. Accommodation typical of bologna properties. If you want ultra modern rooms etc then don't stay in the centre of bologna,go find a new build/hotel on the outskirts of Bologna but you will miss out on the experience of what makes this city great. Our room was quiet and comfortable, plenty of hot water for shower after a long day walking around. Light breakfast available in the morning don't expect a hotel continental breakfast as Italians don't have a large breakfast. What was available was perfect for our needs. Namy was lovely and went out of her way to be helpful and arranged are stay well.

If you have mobility issues than I would make sure you booked the lower rooms as the stairs could be a problem to some. Room had a small fridge but I think in the future they should possibly replace this as they weren't effective in cooling but it's a very minor thing. Fresh filtered water is available everyday so plenty to drink.

Monica made the Bed and Breakfast welcoming, warm, inviting, and clean, with a good breakfast.

Nami was condescending on a restaurant recommendation, did not call a taxi for the next day at the time that she said that she did, and did not think to provide the elevator to take the luggage out at checkout.

I thought the hosts and staff here were wonderful, very kind and thoughtful. I was given lots of info re the BnB and things to do in and around Bologna. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The location was perfect, literally in the centro of Bologna. Easy walk from the train station. My room had wonderful light. The mattress was comfortable. And checking in and out was a dream. This one is definitely a highly recommend! My next visit to Bologna will again be with this place in mind. Thank you Martina & Nicola for making my stay so much more.

The central location was amazing. The staff were exceptional: they stayed late to check me in when my bus arrived late, and Namy gave me so much helpful information about the city when I arrived. She literally gave me a map and outlined the city's important neighborhoods, locations of tourist attractions, and recommendations for non-touristy bars and restaurants. She also gave me her WhatsApp and was always available to answer questions; she is so kind, friendly, and patient! My room was very comfortable and quiet - even though the B&B is in the city center, I really couldn't hear outside noise.

I did get locked in my room once because the key and lock are a bit outdated, but the staff responded to my request for help immediately, and I had no other issues with the door. The AC also could have been stronger (it gets really hot in Bologna in the summer!), but I probably didn't understand the remote control, and it was adequate for the time I was there.

The owners extended many kindnesses to me, and accommodated my specific needs. Nicola even anticipated my needs and made sure they were covered. When I brought problems to their attention, they gave me very helpful explanations and used my suggestions as opportunities to fix the things that needed attention. Wonderful location within easy walking distance of the major attractions in the city center and great nearby restaurants. Delicious, authentic cappuccino at breakfast. Cozy B&B.

One of the staff was not very helpful when I needed to use the lift to bring my suitcase downstairs. Doors/keys are tricky

Pricey. This place is essentially a mid to upscale bed and breakfast in a great location

Exceptional staff. Manager Namy super helpful with directions and ideas on what to do. Fluent in Italian, French and English. Good a/c. Large window offered pleasant roof top views and a breeze. Wholesome breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, cereal and fresh baked cakes and pastries. Excellent location only a few minutes' walk to central plaza and cathedral. Totally safe walking in the evening.

Room was smaller than anticipated. Small shower. OK for one person.
