Everything went perfectly and we really enjoyed our stay here. From the warm reception, to champagne in the room, to the well-appointed suite, this was just perfect. It is on the pricier side, but for this level of lavish luxury, you expect to pay a disproportionately high price for a suite. It was our anniversary and the staff treated us like VIPs. We're not VIPs, but just once in a while it's nice to be treated like that.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful room & public areas. Spotlessly clean. The staff couldn’t do enough to make our staff enjoyable. From the wonderful barman who made me a great negroni, the restaurant staff who interpreted our strange coffee requests perfectly. Huge breakfast buffet that set us up for a day’s sightseeing. Oh & leave room for the happy hour buffet!

We had a junior suite for the four of us (2 adults and two teenage girls) which was really spacious, with comfortable beds, a large bathroom ( albeit with pointless jacuzzi) and very clean. Really good breakfast with lots of fruit- blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and Greek yoghurt plus the usual meats, cheese and cereal. Great location 5 mins max from Duomo and walking distance from the train station( for trips to Siena) but relatively quiet for central location. Really friendly and attentive staff in particular at breakfast where they remembered your name and what you had to drink!

Excellent location, it was an easy walk to the places we wanted to visit in Florence. Great restaurants, gelaterias, places of interest, train station. You walked in and immediately felt a sense of calm, luxury, a place to rest after a long day of sightseeing. The level of attention from all of the staff was also evident in every detail.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The kids said it was the best hotel on our trip, even better than the one in Monaco.

Fabulous location, 10 minutes easy walk to Florence SMN train station, the Accademia with David, Ponte Vecchio, as well as the ritzy shopping area of town. Many nice bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The room was a great size, spotlessly clean, and had lovely soft sheets and towels. Very nice to have a kettle and tea making items/ biscuits etc in the room as well! Lovely big bathroom but crazy tiny shower area with weirdly positioned rain shower head. Breakfast was an extravagant affair but for me the elaborate show of cakes and pastries was a bit too over the top. I can only hope someone benefits from what must be a lot of leftover food each day.

I had a wonderful stay! The room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the breakfast service was excellent with plenty of delicious options. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. One highlight was the minibar—easily one of the best I’ve experienced. They generously restocked it with free drinks every day, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, a fantastic experience that I highly recommend

Great location. Beds v comfortable. Lovely bathroom size. Good dark curtains. Excellent breakfast.

Shower head takes up entire shower so impossible to have a shower without getting hair wet. Obviously designed by a man! Protests in the street outside meant getting a taxi in the morning was impossible - not good when needing to get to the airport. No lobby to speak of though there is a small nice bar in the evening - more of a lift to room than hotel.

Excellent location, excellent staff with great service. This property is very near to The Santa Maria Cathedral and all other major attractions are in walkable distance. Room services are quite remarkable, and they have an exceptional breakfast service with enormous number of deserts, diet favorable dishes and what not. The restaurant staffs Christiano and Asad were very helpful, front desk team also deserves a special word of appreciation. Overall outstanding is the word I would say.

Overall everything was good, probably the steps in the second floor where we stayed could be modified for easier access.

This hotel exceeded all our expectations - the staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Providing the very best in customer service & having an attention to detail that is second to none is clearly their priority. We were thrilled to receive an upgrade upon arrival & the junior suite allocated was absolutely beautiful! The hotel is immaculate & in an amazing position - just a two minute walk from The Duomo. We even purchased the Acqua di Elba room fragrance on display in the reception area just to remind us upon our return home & were delighted to receive some free samples & a small gift as a result of mentioning the hotel at the shop. If you are coming to Florence, this hotel is an absolute must - you will not be disappointed! Thank you so much for a truly wonderful stay, we will definitely be returning!!!

Just steps from the Duomo...in walking distance to all you want to see in Florence. They upgraded us to a suite, which was beautiful...the free mini bar was restocked daily and the happy hour for guests everyday from 6-8:30 was very welcome and needed after a full day out in the city. The staff was always helpful and smiling and provided great service. Best place to stay in Florence from a location, cleanliness, comfort standpoint and the included breakfast was full of so many wonderful delicious choices...

High price, but with all you get plus the location, it kind of offset it, but still expensive
