the location, the cafe/ restaurant by the side of the hotel where we had breakfast, the room was spacious, huge shower. Very clean. Dressing gowns 👍. Fabulous view from the room. Quiet.

very warm in the room - had to keep opening the window then worried about mosquitoes. Some areas of the hotel looked tired - the hallways and stairs - the carpet needs replacing. The spa bath was too big and so couldn’t be filled past the jets.

Great location, very friendly staff, clean and comfortable, value for money.

The breakfast is provided by a different business in front of the building and we noticed there were a few small flies around the buffet food which was not covered. Also, we would have liked to be able to order in or have breakfast in the room. The reception is in a different section where you have to walk through buildings outdoors and as it was raining, it was inconvenient.

The hotel was in a great location.

The front desk needs to be a bit more friendly. Greet guest as they come into the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Alfieri during my trip to Firenze, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The location is unbeatable, situated just a short walk from major attractions. This made exploring the city incredibly convenient. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet. It featured a wide variety of delicious options, from fresh pastries and fruits to savory dishes, catering to all tastes.

maybe next week will go into a bigger room with river view. it is worth it to dive into Florence's beauty.

Location

No cosy lounge

The location is absolutely perfect. The staff were friendly. The room was nice with enough space for bags. 2 long mirrors. Lighting was good. The bathroom was spacious, there was a hair dryer, and a towel warmer. The furniture was new. Bed is comfortable. They had a safe in the closet.

There was no air conditioner. If it is hot, you can open the windows, but there is no net, so bugs are coming in. There is a warming system, though we didn't need it in November. The elevator is too small. Internet speed wasn't the best.

Spacious room, very nice breakfast, friendly staff, great location

Beautiful and very spacious room in a lovely boutique hotel overlooking the river. Located perfectly for easy walking to all the major attractions, high-end shopping, restaurants, and piazzas. The hotel staff were lovely and the breakfast was very good quality and diverse. Valet parking was convenient and efficient. Highly recommend and looking forward to staying again.

Room was very comfortable. Good size ( superior with view) AC worked very well. Very clean. Towels good quality and bed linen was v.good quality. View of Arno was amazing. Very quiet.

Lift was very slow and tiny. Since access to lift is a bit away from reception area and could be accessed straight from street I would have liked if room key card had to be used to use the lift. Admittedly the key card had to be used to access the room floor, I would have liked extra sense of security as a solo female traveller. Breakfast area was small and a bit basic for this quality of hotel. Asked for some boiling water and it took ages. Rooftop area could do with revamping- stair area poor and no decoration e.g. flowers or plants. No bar available either so if you wanted to have a glass of wine and enjoy the view you would have to bring up your glass from the bar in the very small and slow lift and up the stairs. Didn't entice me to stay.
