We have stayed a numer of times before. It suits us (room with balcony and reserved garage parking - you need to book a superior room) and we do not find the local road an issue, although it does have vehicles passing especially at rush hour. There is a small beach opposite which does not belong to the hotel and is run privately - you can get a discount by booking through the hotel. This got very busy at weekends however if you are staying at hotel you will have parking and that is therefore not a problem. Sun bed and umbrellas available on beach - ice creams at hotel or form beach kiosk. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are well serviced (soap actuall of some use unlike some hotels we have stayed in but shampoo/body wash sachets are a bit small if you want to shower and wash hair you will probably need two. Wifi works well inside and out on the balcony. Small fridge supplied in room, but small for packs of beer, but we found fine for cold meats, cheese and the odd bottle of wine. Restaurant is not up to standard of previous owner, restaurant manager very friendly maybe a little too so for English expectation. Breakfast usual fruit juices, yogurt, cereal, cakes, meat, cheese bread so plemty to choose from. Dinner a little disappointing. Variety is missing, fish was very tasty, but then its beaten to death escalopes of pork or chicken or plate of vegetables - pizza is always available and they are well cooked and plenty of choice. Perhaps I am fussy for cost of room, but previous owner made a lot more of the dinner menu and the restaurant was popular with locals - maybe it was just the wrong time for them, we found it OK but nothing to write home about. If you order the potato side it will so at least two people. Lake Orta is a beautiful site at a % of the cost of the better known lakes, but everything you can want is within reach.

Perhaps a little more on the local cusine side in the restaurant Otherwise you pays your money and takes your choice on the road. Staff were all very pleasant, I would have preferred the restaurant server a little more restrained, maybe some training in appropriate level of familiarity. You cannot move the hotel, so pick what you want for a few days touring the lakes, considering the price of some up on the more famous lakes which you can drive to there is nothing to want to change on that front. A swimming pool would be nice although a large investment.

Great location with parking and close proximity to the lovely town of Orta and with a beach just across the road! We had a lovely view from our room. Very friendly and helpful staff especially the waiter in the restaurant. We ate here one night to avoid going into town; the meal was not fancy but tasty. The breakfast offerings were great! Since we booked the superior room we had parking inside the garage. It is convenient that they have a terrace and a bar overlooking the lake.

The room was a bit Spartan but comfortable. The tile in our shower needed cleaning but this was taken care of after I mentioned it to the desk.

We selected the hotel for its location close to an event we were attending at Orta. We liked the proximity to the lake and used the little public beach nearby.

The air conditioning remotes were not in the rooms when we arrived but were supplied when we asked at reception. We couldn't get the TV to work. No night staff on reception.

The first thing I would say is about the staff especially Yousef in the restaurant,who made our stay exceptional, all the staff were great .The hotel provided everything we needed the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and we had dinner twice in the restaurant plenty of choices provided.

The main advantage of the hotel is its location. On the shores of Lake Orta, with a beautiful view and a beach across the road. Peace and quiet, crystal clear water and air. You can only get here by car. We have already stayed at this hotel several times, but each time no more than 2 days

The breakfasts should be better, they are not up to expectations now, because in such a beautiful place you expect the food to be just as wonderful

Room was large, bathroom was clean and functional, staff were very friendly, and breakfast was very good, with a choice of cereal, fruit, eggs made to order, bread, cheese , ham.

Room had a fridge which was nice, but a kettle to make tea would have been a nice option that is often found in hotels, but not this one.

Lovely stay and the hotel was really nice, comfortable and beautiful but there wasn't that much around when we were there. It was ideal for us at that part of the trip but if you were staying longer I think you would want more things to do.

As above - probably would have liked a few more options for places to eat etc if I had been staying longer but the hotel itself was spot on and very nice.

The staff was terrific, the food was delicious, the lake wasn't overly touristy, and our large room was really nice. There is a sandy beach, a snack bar(with adult + beverages),an ice-cream cart, and water-based activities.

The hotel was clean, well-appointed and with a lovely view of the lake. The staff were all professional and friendly, especially the guy in the restaurant. Breakfast was OK, nothing special, but the coffee plentiful and good. The restaurant terrace overlooking the lake was particularly nice. A great place to have breakfast.

Nothing, but it would be difficult to stay here without your own transport.

The breakfast was plentiful and there was a good choice of meats, cheese, bread, fruit and yoghurt. The evening meals were excellent value for money, good size portions and tasty.

Lack of public transport and pavements means it is sensible to hire a car to get into Orta although the hotel does offer an excellent taxi service. The bar would benefit from offering a wider range of beverages.
