Such a great find on booking.com. Communication was super quick from the start and the staff were brilliant. Very accommodating by allowing us an early bag drop off and also letting us leave a bag on check out to be collected later. We were given a towel each after check out so we could enjoy the beach and then offered use of shower, soap and fresh towels on our return to collect our bags … absolutely amazing ! A very lovely breakfast that can be taken in the garden, courtyard or indoors. Very friendly staff especially checkin reception staff. Thankyou for your hospitality. We really loved our stay.

We loved the quiet off the main corridors of the town. We loved the breakfast provided, there were many fresh options to choose from. The staff was very helpful to store our luggage before check in and also had a bathroom and towels for use for guests. We also loved the AC!

The rooms were small and the bathrooms even smaller, but that is to be expected in a small village. I felt that the rooms were a bit dated and the location is about 15 min walk from the train station but we knew this ahead. We didn't realized how much we would use the train and wished we would have been a bit closer to the train, but we did love the convenience to all the shops and restaurants so you just have to choose which convenience you would prefer.

We booked the room at the last minute as we decided to stay overnight in Monterosso. As soon as we book the room, the hotel sent me a very well detailed map on how to walk there from the train station. After a very pleasant 10 minute walk through cobblestone Street we arrived at the hotel. We were warmly greeted and the check-in process was flawless. Once we got to the room, the ductless air conditioner worked perfectly, and the room was quaint, clean and exactly what we Expected. In the morning the breakfast in the courtyard was fantastic with lots of variety, and the checkout process took only minutes. Overall, we are satisfied and would recommend to anyone who wants to move off the beach resorts and into the village.

Beautiful and clean. Balcony was fabulous. Bidet was a bonus. The breakfast was excellent. The common areas were very comfortable and clean. The staff was very professional and accommodating.

The shower stall was very narrow and difficult to move in. The shower head and controls were in the middle of the shower, very awkward and if you bumped into the control and hit the temperature lever, it was terrible, changing it to either super hot or cold. I'm 5' 4", 150 lbs, I can't see a large man being able to fit in the shower stall.

The location, just off the main street in Monterosso, is perfect - quiet but central. There is a series of terraces, with garden furniture and gorgeous planting, that make outdoor breakfast, or drinks later on, delightful. The standard room had a very spacious bathroom which was much appreciated. Breakfast is wonderfully varied and individually prepared cooked breakfasts are available - excellent news for walkers. But positive as all these factors are, the most striking feature of this hotel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Our group, with a variety of hotel experience all over the world, found the Souvenir personnel to be exceptionally warm, welcoming and intuitively helpful.

Lovely hotel, staff was great, excellent breakfast. Excellent service. Great location just off the main road where it was quiet, but super close to everything. We opted to stay an extra night answer had to move rooms to a lower quality room and it was still great. I actually thought the bed in that room was more comfortable.

There is no elevator, so that will teach us to overpack! The bed in our first room was way too hard for my old back, and I tend to like a more firm mattress.

It was amazing—although small, but adequate. The breakfast was excellent! The staff was very friendly and polite and made our stay out of this world. Shafiq went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable.

The wifi. It was choppy. Even after restarting it was choppy. But it was good for quick email and voice calls.

Absolutely loved everything about this place.... location was perfect for being near the exciting old town centre for restaurants and shops and only a short walk to the beach and train station at the same time being tucked away in a quiet, delightful area. .... the hotel had a wonderfully quiet courtyard area, where you could sit and relax after a busy day exploring...... the staff were so welcoming, friendly, helpful and made sure everything was the best it could be, to make your stay the best..... our economy double room was immaculately clean and well equipped. After other reviews I was thoughtful about how big the room was going to be and how noisy but I need not have worried. The room was fantastic. The bed was big and so comfortable, including the pillows. There was more than enough space for our bags and belongings and to move around the room with ease. We hardly ever heard anything of the people in nearby rooms, except when they were in the corridor coming and going from their rooms. We were so grateful for the ceiling fan and aircon. The bathroom was not very big but perfectly big enough to use the facilities with ease. It is not like you need that much space in a bathroom anyway...... the breakfast was amazing!!! So much choice in the buffet plus the option to ask for fresh scrambled eggs or an omelette if you wanted something cooked ...... we wish we could have stayed longer and would certainly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again

Absolutely nothing. It was a little haven of paradise.

Staff was super friendly and helpful! The hotel has a bar and restaurant for an amazing breakfast. We were able to check our luggage after check out to enjoy the afternoon shopping before our departure. Location was perfect to sightsee. There are taxis that can take you to/from the train station.

Our fault for overpacking but it made the walk up to the room difficult. Our large luggage took up any and all the walking space in the room. The layout was awkward for our party of three.

We were very well received, assisted with luggage and shown around the premises. Beautiful garden and an onsite bar was nice to have. Most probably the best breakfast we had in Italy, Location was a short walk from the station. Due to nature of Cinque Terre, be prepared to have to climb some stairs and walk up a hill, but nothing too bad. Lots of nice restaurants and shops within a two-minute walk. Close to the beach. Hotel provides beach towels. We spent one night in Monterosso.

Room was really small, but had a small bar fridge with aircon that worked well.
