Shuvan (Front Desk) was fantastic. He gave us our takeaway breakfast as we needed to leave early.

Hard to carry suit cases up-down stairs

Perfect location for exploring Venice for the first time, sweet staff and most of what you need. No fridge or kettle but there’s lots in the area so you can find coffee, cold drinks, etc, very close. Price was excellent. Had a shared bathroom but never saw the other people so if you’re worried, it’s really no big deal.

For all the walking around, I need a more cushy bed, but that’s me. Some people love a stiff bed. Also, it’s not close to any of the biennale exhibits. I didn’t really realize that when I booked it. If you’re going just for biennale, look at the exhibit map and choose a more central spot.

The place is in a great spot and everything is super clean. Check-in and communication with staff is super easy. We found the staff to be super friendly and tried to make everything the best for us. Even trying to go out of our way to put together a small vegan breakfast takeaway for our early check out even though we didn’t mind. Super cute and would highly recommend.

Maybe the only thing if I had to be fussy was if the main shared bathroom was stocked with extra towels and soaps incase they were used or forgotten before going in. Also wasn’t sure if the shared bathroom door could be unlocked from the outside whilst locked and being used inside, sometimes was paranoid of that. But that’s being really picky. The place is super helpful, friendly and easy going and just really feel like the staff made us feel super comfortable.

The location of the hotel was great. It was only a short but scenic walk to all the main attractions, and shopping in the area. Breakfast was good, nothing crazy but did the job. Rooms were spacious and the hotel itself was very nice and cozy. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and made our stay amazing. Thank you!

The rooms were a bit warm due to the heat not being able to be turned off. The beds were also a little uncomfortable.

Hotel Guerrato (Pensione Guerrato) - My family and I stayed at this place on Mar 2024, we loved it and I am sharing my feedback. The hotel is very comfortable, hard to believe it is in a building that is few hundred years old and to be a very good family run business. The biggest advantage of this Hotel is the location, it is close to Rialto Bridge\Rialto Market for a stroll, day trip starting point, restaurants and water taxi stands. The breakfast at the Hotel is continental European and you would have schedule it at the front desk. The people at the front desk are very helpful and have good knowledge of the city.

The Hotel doesn't have an elevator, If you're carrying large bags or traveling with elders it may be a challenge.

Great location, super close to a vaporetto stop and close to the Rialto Bridge, which was handy both for viewing this tourist destination and for navigation around the city! The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, giving great recommendations on places to eat, walking routes and places to visit. The rooms were spacious.

The pillows and beds were very firm. We left the windows open the first night and found it to be quite noisy, but with the windows and shutters closed the second night we had a great sleep. You do need to carry your luggage up a couple of sets of stairs, but the staff will help if you need it.

Breakfast was delicious. They had a variety of items to satisfy my American style. The amiable staff replenished the buffet with pastries, fruits, cereal, etc. Matilde and her mom were lovely and helpful and tried her best to accommodate us in any way they could, even in the worst experience my sister and I had. (my sister was pick-packet). The location is excellent . there are a lot of restaurants you can choose front that serve great food.

Great location close to the Rialto bridge. The staff was really nice and we got some excelent tips (sights, restaraunts) from the reception, unfortunatly we did not have enought time in Venice to check all of them out. We had booked one room for four people and the room was big enough for a comfortable stay. Everthing was clean and the room and bathroom where in good shape (probably renovated not too long ago)

Everything was fine. I have two minor nitpicks, which were no problem for us, but could be for other type of guests. The breakfast ist time slotted, so no long sunday morning breakfast (if you are that kind of person). The surroundings are livley and you can hear people from the square close by in the night.

Very big rooms, very clean and comfortable and great breakfast included. Also very close to the rialto bridge. We walked to the propery from the train station but caught the river taxi on the way back which is just round the corner from pensione. Really enjoyed our stay here and the air conditioning was a great feature in the summer heat. We were a big family with young children and the owners/staff were so lovely to deal with definitely felt like they went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable

Nothing would highly recommend Pensione Guerrato

Great location, easy walk from the Bus 19. Breakfast was OK. Lots of great food and coffee shops everywhere nearby. Easy to get to everywhere in Venice from this location and was easy to locate using google maps. They held our bags for the day before we left.

The market started setting up below our windows at 4:30am, was loud but once again, not unexpected in this location. Shared bathroom was a known but for the price was worth it. The breakfast had set times that you had to sign up for, can be a bit inconvenient, especially as groups got priority for the better earlier seating time.
