Good location.

Thought the room had a balcony, but it had a window to the neighboring room's balcony.

The room (#8) was very fun. It was up a steep staircase off a narrow alleyway, with a skeleton key for the door - so very appropriate for a medieval city built on a cliff. The on-suite bathroom was yet up another set of steps inside the room! But, it was fabulously modern. We had a couple good natured laughs at how many steps there were, but it simply added to the experience.

No breakfast. However, it is a very quick walk to a couple cafes that serve breakfast. Was not an issue for us.

The junior suite (room n. 9) was very nice and clean, with spacious and modern bathroom, and a small balcony. The room had good, adjustable air conditioning, nice shower and a small fridge. Location was perfect, very close to the train station and main street, but on a calm and quiet alley. It was a perfect place to escape the midday hours busy with daytime tourists, and explore the town of Vernazza in the morning and evening. We used online check-in option, which was very handy, and the operator met us at the train station to take us to the suite when our train arrived.

We have nothing bad to say about the suite, but if you are a light sleeper, some of the fast trains going past might bother you. Also there are a lot of steps in the building and the surrouding alleys, so if you have difficulties climbing them, or heavy luggage, be prepared.

Check-in could have been smoother. There are very specific check-in requirements and you need to communicate your exact arrival time but since I was hiking along the Cinque Terre I didn't know what time I would arrive. I ended up having to wait outside a hotel where I was able to get WiFi for over two hours.

property was very clean and well kept. The bathroom and bedroom were very clean. Hairdryer! The apartment had a fridge. The mattress on the bed was so comfortable!

There were many stairs and while that was something I was aware of, it was challenging. There was very little shampoo or soap - single use for each my husband and myself ( I have a bit longer hair so this was a challenge). The terrace could see into the room next door - little privacy so was not able to fully enjoy sitting on terrace.

Very cold AC. Bang in the middle of everything next to train station. The bed sheets were so silky smooth, and very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and modern.

The stairs to the room especially with heavy luggage. Sometimes the shower was either too hot or too cold, hard to get the medium

We had a great visit to Vernazza and enjoyed staying at Pontorosso Rooms. The person met us at the train station and helped with our luggage up the stairs as well. The communication with the host was great and they quickly replied to all emails. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan to use Vernazza as your base point when visiting Cinque Terre.

Nice, clean, bright and modern room. Recently renovated, but in some places in a bit if a hurry. Welcoming balcony with surprisingly comfortable chairs. Close to the train, which was not a problem as far as the noice, but was convenient so you don't have to drag luggage around the city.

Fan in the shower only came on with the light, so moisture was left throughout the stay.

Conveniently located literally a stone’s throw from the train station, this room is down a small side street in Vernazza. I had food poisoning when my husband and I arrived here, and the owner and cleaners were exceptionally accommodating, enabling us to check in two hours early.

Because of its proximity to the station, the room can be very loud.

It was located near the station and very clean. There were towels and a small fridge. We had a great stay and felt comfortable!

A little bit hard to find and the staff was a little late.
