Hotel Les Armures is exceptional in every way. It's located in the old center of Geneva, which is perfect...though take a taxi if you have luggage since the historic center was built on a hilltop and it's a hike seriously uphill or up cobbled stairs from the lake level parts of the city. But it's the right place to stay. Inside, it's a beautifully designed and decored hotel....boutiquish in size. Front desk is always staffed and you can't walk in or out without hearing "Bonjour." Entire staff was friendly, always helpful and kind (especially Daria at the front desk). Our room was luxurious and seemed like new (best shower in six weeks in Europe). While we never once saw a maid, every day while we were at breakfst our room was immediately and quickly cleaned. At night, while we were out at dinner, our bed was turned down with chocolates awaiting. Breakfast was a delight and so convenient--maybe just include it in your reservation. The hotels restaurant is right around the corner and rated one of the best in Geneva (we can confirm). This is a rare hotel that is doing everything right.

Absolutely stunning hotel with excellent staff, 9/10 for attention to detail. The only Hotels I've stayed that would be better would be some of the five-star hotels in the big chains like the Ritz-Carlton group, but in Switzerland and this time of year you'd be talking multiples of the price we paid to stay here. Genuinely brilliant boutique Hotel. Location was probably the best of any city stay hotel I've been to. Thanks to Tom especially for his help with booking tickets etc. Hotel restaurant was also a genuine treat with the traditional Swiss Fare explained by good waiting staff. Well worth booking for your first night in my opinion.

Rooms are adequate in relation to size for two 6 footers like myself and my wife but no more. That said this is a boutique hotel right at the old town and advertised as such.

Upon arrival they informed us we had been upgraded for the suite for the first night as well so we would not have to make a bedroom change. 2. The hotel is so perfectly located, right in the middle of old town. If you like fondue, you cannot miss their restaurant. 3. Their staff was attentive, professional and efficient. They even left a card, a box of chocolates, cookies and fresh fruits in the bedroom for my husband’s birthday. 4. The confort and cleanliness of the room. All and all a place to not miss when in Geneva, definitely my go to for my next stay!

Perfect location, friendly staff, good housekeeping services. We requested extra heater when we were leaving the room and when we return it was alteady plugged in & on and was heating our room. they also helped us the with the hotel’s restaurant reservation on a busy friday night

We were staying at room 410 and in the middle of the night (at 02.30) room 408 called us by mistake to request water to their and woke us up… it’s not the hotel’s fault however next night we had the unplug the phone to prevent such an accident again!

The property is ideally located in the Old Town. It is tastefully designed. The staff were professional, warm, welcoming and helpful. The restaurant was a great traditional Swiss spot, very popular, with a good atmosphere, and well trained staff. The fondue was huge!

It was very unfortunate how hot the room was and there was seemingly nothing that could be done. It was a maximum of 10 degrees outside in the day time (would have been much lower at night) and yet the room was searing hot at 24 degrees due to overuse of central heating. The air con didn’t work (apparently a Swiss regulation given the time of the year), the window opened onto a noisy road. We were given a fan but when we turned the lights off the plug sockets turned off. Eventually after a number of visits by the staff with me in my pyjamas, we got the fan to work. We slept very badly due to the noise and heat. This was a great shame given the property is quite £££.

It was just a beautiful room with wonderful architectural features and details. The bed was super comfortable and very large. The location was just incredible. Within walking distance to so many great Swiss restaurants and shopping. A truly magical experience.

The breakfast was delicious and wonderfully set up but we thought that 39 Swiss Francs for a person for breakfast food was a bit too steep. Though it is nice to have a toilet in a separate room from the rest of the bathroom, the inconvenience of having to go back and forth to wash you hands was a wee bit annoying.

· The room is very clean and tidy, making people feel very warm. The various toiletries and towels provided in the shower room are very satisfactory. · The staff at the front desk had a very good service attitude when I checked in. She was also enthusiastic and used a detailed map to introduce me to surrounding attractions and recommended restaurants. · The hotel is located in the old town, so when you walk to Lake Geneva, you can see many interesting buildings and feel the retro atmosphere, which is very suitable for city walking.

For first-time visitors, this place is not very easy to find. The hotel's facade is not particularly obvious. Please don't trust the instructions of Google Maps. It will fool you around... When you see the hotel's restaurant with the same name, turn left and go straight.

We loved this boutique gem! As a bonus, the restaurant is on several lists of best traditional Swiss food in Geneva, and our hotel staff kindly helped us make reservations, even at the last minute. Staying on the hill in a walking part of the Old City was a truly unique experience.

Nothing in Switzerland can be considered a value, and this upscale boutique property is no exception. We thought it worth the splurge, though.

Professional, friendly staff - clean, pleasant ambiance- lots of ammenities- historic location

Restaurant in the building was a noise nuisance - near midnight, workers kept dragging furniture, maybe tables and chairs, when closing up. Also, restaurant customers came out in groups below my window, to smoke and chat loudly for a long time, twice near midnight. It totally disrupted my sleep and ruined my one night stay.
