This hotel was located within only a few minutes of the airport, yet there was no noise from planes overhead. It was quick to check-in and check out. They have an arrivals/departure screen in the lobby for flights and a weighing matching for luggage (must pay for it) and lockers. Breakfast was a great selection and was of good quality. The room was large and clean, and the bathroom/shower was excellent, with good gel, shampoo, etc. Also there were lots of little restaurants nearby open till late where you could eat, including a little newsagent where you could buy water and gum etc.

Convenient for the airport, short Metro ride then a few mins walk. Very clean and I think recently renovated. Staff cheerful and very helpful. Beds comfortable and room quiet. Excellent breakfast - plenty of choice, and for once hotel toasters that produce quality toast in quick time! Fresh fruit salad was excellent. Also great choice of all normal breakfast items from around Europe.

Air conditioning only gave HOT air apparently it’s still classed as ‘winter’ and cold air only available in ‘ summer’ I couldn’t identify who does this odd classification.

I booked the room on the same day, as we realized when we landed that we had the wrong location before. They had availability and they even checked us in early at no cost - which was amazing, we just had a 10 hour flight behind us. The staff here is exceptional. The hotel is good value for money, liked the decor downstairs and the room was clean. There are several cafes and supermarket at walking distance.

The room and the shower were a bit small, but for the price and the length of our stay totally worth it.

On this trip I stayed in Ibis Hotels in both Bilbao and Madrid. The Madrid stay was my second having stayed here last after walking the Camino Frances. I enjoyed staying here as I did last year, 5 minutes taxi to the airport , clean and comfortable as always, great breakfast buffet, convenient to anything you need. The staff is top notch and exceedingly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. If I’m in Madrid again, I’ll stay here again.

I liked that it was close to the airport, had a breakfast option, had other travelers to talk to, and had a comfortable check in and room - and allowed my dog.

It wasn´t clear that the dog wasn´t allowed in any eating area, and staff was a little harsh about this...but the thing is: you don´t really have a sterile, separate eating room. It´s the same noisy, messy room as where the guests hang out. And the place in the photos appeared a little nicer online. That said: it was fine and very convenient.

the Hotel is advertise to have a breakfast that starts at 4:00 am, and is in a walking distance to the airport, although breakfast area opened at the stated hour, they just started filling it up very slowly. full breakfast was available at around 4:40-ish, which was too late for us. the hotel is somewhat close to the airport, but not in a walking distance. you will have to take a short cab (around 20-25 euros flat price) which made it a bit different than what was advertised.

Friendly stuff and the location is close by the airport. 5min by watch from the Terminal 1 -2 -3 but next time I would definitely use an Uber or Cabify. Taxi charges you 20euros as standard price for this 5min ride. Ridiculous.

After losing my phone in a taxi the two women at the check in desk were incredibly caring and went out of their way to help me try and get it back. Later that night the taxi driver returned it to the hotel and there was a rather unfortunate event where the driver demanded money and got the police involved. The gentleman who worked at the hotel did his best to deal with this for us as our Spanish is rather limited and basic. We could not have got through it so easily without his assistance. He went above and beyond, I cannot put into words how grateful we are. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable with a really great shower but it was truly the kindness and helpfulness of the staff that made the stay. I would not hesitate to stay there again. I just wish we could have seen the staff who helped us when we left so we could express our gratitude again.

Perfect option for a layover. The hotel is not near Madrid, but that was the reason we chose it. We arrived at 2:30 am and upon arrival the receptionist was very helpful (we had a baby with us) and made the check in really fast. I would recommend this hotel to families or solo travelers. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds and great water pressure in showers.

The carpets to the bedrooms give the wrong impression. They need to be vacuum or cleaned.

Ideal location for overnight near MAD airport. 5-10 taxi minutes from arrivals/departures. Decent simple places to eat in the locality (Try La General, 2 mins walk). Notably friendly and helpful staff. Usual IBIS room. Clean, comfortable and functional.

Be aware that minimum price for any taxi leaving Barajas Airport is €20. So although this hotel is very close and convenient it is not actually cheaper to get to than others much further away. Trip back to the airport is a more reasonable €10-12. Taxi transfer is only logical method as staying at this hotel is all about convenience and maximising time for a good night's sleep.
