Amazing location and very quiet area.

The reception staff that handled check-In process were unfriendly, as I was trying to check-in before 3pm as I was very tried from the travel and I said I do respect the hotel policy but I need to rest and sleep, unfortunately they claimed that the hotel is full therefore they can’t do it. After 2 hours of waiting I decided to ask again if I can pay more to check in and suddenly they have available rooms!. It’s unfortunate experience especially I you were a usual guest in the hotel. I hope they consider the guests situations as they came to rest and enjoy their times.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can honestly say it was an experience to remember. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with the warmest smiles from the reception team, setting the tone for my entire stay. They were incredibly welcoming, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure that my check-in process was seamless. They truly made me feel like a valued guest, taking the time to offer personalized recommendations for nearby attractions and dining. The housekeeping staff were equally impressive, maintaining my room in immaculate condition throughout my stay. It was evident that they take great pride in their work, as the room was always spotless, fresh, and well-stocked with everything I needed. Every time I passed by a housekeeper in the hall, they greeted me with a friendly smile, which made a big difference in creating such a positive atmosphere. The overall vibe of the hotel was one of warmth, care, and attention to detail, with every staff member I encountered offering a friendly greeting and a genuine smile. It was clear that the hotel places a strong emphasis on customer service, and I felt truly pampered and taken care of during my entire visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a delightful, comfortable, and positive experience. The excellent service from reception, housekeeping, and the friendly faces everywhere made it a truly memorable stay! Nothing at all

My daughter and I enjoyed a 6 night stay at the Royal Lancaster. It's a great hotel. We received wonderful service as soon as we entered its doors. Check-in was easy and seamless. Breakfast was very nice. We enjoyed it daily. They present a beautiful large food assortment. The dining room is pleasant and the staff exceptional. We booked a Classic Room with 2 twin beds. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was immaculate, the beds ultra comfortable and the tolietries were very nice. The Thai restaurant at the hotel is exceptional. I would advise booking a reservation early during your stay. I love the location of this hotel. Its right across the street from Hyde Park. For those who are adventurous and don't mind navigating public transportation; you will find the buses and Tube station within walking distance a few feet from the hotel. The staff and the service at the Royal Lancaster London are outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel. I look forward to visiting again.

A fantastic hotel in a great location in London. Close to the metro, very close to the park, where you can relax after hard work. Great, friendly staff - at all levels - from the nice gentleman at the door, the room ladies, the reception, restaurant staff - amazing. Huge culture. Great breakfasts, beautiful restaurant, perfect experience. In my rating 6/6. Very comfortable room with a fridge and tea and coffee station. Very clean, even sterile. Great working air conditioning - it will cool and heat - as you wish. Excellent. This hotel - and I have been to hundreds of others - is my number one in London. Now I know that my next stay there convinced me that I will never stay in another one. Excellent hotel. Thank you for allowing me to stay there.

Let's not improve what is perfect.

Loved the view. Beds were very comfortable. Room service food was great but a bit pricey sometimes. Showers and bathrooms were phenomenal. Well built rooms and furnishings. Plenty of closet space for longer stays. Great attention to small details like night lighting, blackout shades, etc. Very comfortable.

TV was awful. Burned out with QR code. They took daily service charge and for every action they did. On top of room service charges. Seemed a little nickle & dimey given the premium rates being charged for rooms and that I tipped on top of that. Maybe tell people they don't need to tip if you are already charging daily rates for tipping the staff? I like to do it the good ole fashioned way. Hotel did have some undesirable guests who were quite noisy and needed to be called on by security. Didn't expect that for such a top end hotel. No bidet hoses, sadly.

Location was excellent, across the road from Hyde Park which you can walk across to get to the museum district and Harrods and next door to Lancaster Gate tube station which is only 3 stations from Oxford Circus where all the good shops are located. Room was small but very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Bathroom was clean and shower was quite large. Huge selection for breakfast with continental, buffet and a la carte options. Coffee and toast to order and brought to the table and the staff remember your choices from the previous day which was a nice touch. All the staff at the Lancaster were amazing, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The only disappointing thing was that the previous people in our room left half eaten food in our room fridge and it wasn’t picked up by the cleaning staff. This was however quickly remedied and the hotel brought a complimentary bottle of wine to the room with their sincerest apologies and checked with us a few times after that to make sure everything was ok.

The Royal Lancaster London is a lovely hotel in a great central location for getting it done in London. There's a tube station all but in the hotel with great connections, a really good Thai literally in the hotel, many restaurants dotted around. It's also adjacent to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. In-house food is decent if pricey. They do go the extra mile here.

Two things were a little off. First, the bed had a sort of dip, like it might be two beds sometimes and I think at 2.5 for six nights that should be a little better. It was still very comfortable though. Secondly, we weren't able to check in on time, which I really don't like when you're paying this. To be fair, they caught something they didn't like in the supervisory review before they turned the room over to us and it is right that they do that. Secondly, they treated us to two free drinks at the upstairs bar. So I won't take it that personally!

I liked everything my room was new and modern, clean and got everything I needed as a solo traveller. The location is amazing near the hyde park and netx to Lancaster gate station and not far from Paddington station. The breakfast is amazing did not find such variety and service in any hotel I stayed in London. People who work in the restaurant were very nice and of great help. I never found a place who consider my allergy need as I am on gluten free like this hotel. I enjoyed my breakfast for the whole stay. The takehome chocolate when I checked out touched my heart. Thank you so much for such great treatment :) I will definetly stay with you again

We seem to have received a courtesy upgrade, to a higher floor, and were delighted despite room giving us (facing) a partial view of the parking lot. Staff could not have been more accommodating and just very helpful - from bell men to concierge, to reception.... Their behavior and demeanor carried the day.

While the room was lovely, for a five day stay (actually even for two days) there was very, very limited wardrobe and drawer/storage space. Unpacking is made nearly impossible because of the placement of furniture. Had to ask for a luggage rack and did one suitcase at a time. Once unpacked, had to move some of the furniture around (the only two which were moveable) to be able to stow our semi empty suitcases and carry-ons under the desk and the small sofa. FYI, interestingly enough, the room had two safes.
