The room was huge and clean, nice view of Fuji although there were multiple bars on the window, but still, great view.
No staff on check in. 4pm is a late check in anyway and we arrived right at 4 but no one there. A phone with 2 numbers was there but no one answered. Staff arrived within 10 minutes and were very apologetic but then we saw another group the next night at 7 waiting for 10 minutes for staff with no-one answering the phone number. No big deal but no staff around during the day at all and it's certainly not a resort! There wasn't any coffee, only hot chocolate sachet provided.

The lady at the reception is very warm and makes you feel really welcome. Eventhough she speaks very little english, she is very handy with her mobile translator so communicating with her was never really a problem. The facilities are clean and the private onsen is quite good although it was just my first time using one. The location was great. It is only a 5 minute walk to the bus station and just a 2 minute walk to the lake with a direct view of Mt. Fuji. It is at one of the point where you could see the Diamond Fuji! The area is very peaceful and quiet and I even saw two deers cross the road towards the lake near the hotel. Value for money is great and would definitely recommend. If ever I would go back to the area, I guess this would be my first option for an accommodation.
The heater installation location makes it quite hard for the heat to spread uniformly across the room, but I guess because of the room size (good for up to two only) it really cannot be helped.

The place has a very nice location, the rooms that have a view to the mountain, is not a panoramic view, but you can manage to see mt fuji, if you want to have a better view you can just go outside and walk a few steps and have a stunming view, if you want to go to relax and stay at a quiet place with a stunning view, this is great, although there are many options of hotel airbnbs and guesthouses, there are also many activities on the lake. When we went here something happen to one of the reservations of the people coming with us and the manager was very understanding and willing to help us out, we fit everyone in our room and just paid for a "fare adjustment", qlso the lady that help us with the check in was very nice and helpful, even though she didn't spoke english we could easily comunicate with google translate. The cleaning lady was a japanese woman who lived in spain so she also speaks spanish.
There is no personnel at least in low season before 3pm, so if you have any question there will be no one, also the dining room was closed and the rooms had a weird smell, but they are very very big, although the bathroom was tiny. There are very few options for eating nearby and also you have to see what are their schedules, you might probably have to survive with seven eleven food which is a 10 min walk, it's also very very empty everything in the town but this zone particularly is emptier you have to walk to the bus stop next to the seven eleven to see anyone but that doesn' t has to be a bad thing.

Value for money as the other accommodation in the region are rather steep. The lake is just a short 2 minutes walk away. Able to get a great view of Mount Fuji with a lake view. Free parking just beside the stay.
We are already aware that there are no lift. This was expected and it was quite tiring to carry our luggage up to level 3. So do be prepared if you are not travelling light. While the convenience store and laundry shop are a short 200-400m away, the weather was very cold in March. The walk can be dangerous at night as well, because there are minimal street lights and the narrow sidewalk is very close to the road. Suggestion for owner to at least have a coin laundry machine or drinks vending machine at the building itself. Can also maybe have luggage locker on level 1 for those who do not want to carry up the floors.

It is a HUGE apartment, and for Japan it is GIGANTIC. What is even more valuable: I had a FUJI VIEW from my window! It was amazing! The area is very calm, I enjoyed my sleep, and could even swim in a lake in the morning. Highly recommended!
It is really necessary to book your dinner and/or breakfast in advance. I failed - and had to look for food (and in this area there is not so much infrastructure for tourists without cars. There was a good restaurant close to the hotel (but only one, and it worked until early evening only), and a 7Eleven for early birds. The hotel is much better reachable with a car than with public transport (although the latter is possible too, I did it).

An amazing hotel right on the picturesque shore. Everything is tidy and comfortable. The room is spacious and convenient. Lights are remote controlled, all the amenities are present. I particularly enjoyed the bed. It is wide and the latex mattress is so soft that I was dead to the world during the night. They have a sufficient amount of parking slots and a bicycle for a ride
The bathroom is quite small but it is a common thing in Japan. Big lads will find it hard to move around though

The room is huge comparing to my stay at Tokyo and Osaka! Would highly recommend staying here if you are driving or rent a car, it’s a bit far from the centre but that’s the best part coz not many ppl around you. you can see Mt Fuji from the room window on a side view, or just get down to the back of the resort and you can see it all!
Everything is nice, although the resort restaurant was closed when we were there, would be good if we can try it out.

I booked the private bathroom and this was amazing! The owner was polite and made us a traditional set dinner meal I had booked. The location is beautiful also; we chose Lake Yamanakako to avoid the busy other lakes; but drove around from here and it was close to everything. I really enjoyed the ryokan experience. Our room had a lovely view of the mountain, as does the rooftop; we got up early to watch the sun rise over it.
I liked everything!

Very warm and welcoming by the reception. Room was clean and very spacious, with a fantastic few of the Mount Fuji from our window. The private bath rental was also excellent. We used it both nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Could do with a bit of love in some areas however hotel was very well managed and kept clean and in good order.
