The compact room was cozy and comfortable, great for a solo traveler. Everything was clean and well maintained. They do not clean the room every day but provide fresh towels and toiletries every day in a bag by the door if you stay more than one day. I had trouble with the automated check-in but the staff were kind and helpful and fixed it right away. There is only one elevator, but it is fast. It is a great location, near the train station but also several subway stops.

The room was clean and modern. Several of the room amenities were well thought out.

The air conditioner turns off when you leave the room. It restarts quickly when you return to the room. The public hallway and elevator are not air conditioned which was extremely hot. I was waiting for the elevator for several minutes in the sweating heat of over 100 degrees F. There is only one elevator for the 7 floors.

The location is really good, close to Hakata train and bus station. Many convenient store are close by. The room size is not bad for one person. I love the ice making machine.

The pillow are not the type I like. There is one elevator so you need to wait sometime. A little loud noise from the street outside at night.

The staff is really helpful and they are patient to answer any question. We stayed there for 4-5 nights and cleaning staff is thoughtful to give the room supplies to the front of door, thank you.

Hope the other floor can add microwave or washing machine on other higher floors because setting microwave and washing machine on the first floor near check in counter sometimes easily to meet check in people when we are doing laundry or microwave food, it appeared crowded on the lobby.

Staff seems to be limited in providing services Example: 1. cannot help to call taxi to airport - this this pretty crucial. 2. cannot help to make reservations with restaurants - this particularly not helpful with non Japanese speaking customers. Thank you

APA hotels are always the ones to go to for me in Japan. Clean and neat business hotel chain that has pretty much the same facilities all around the country, so no surprises here. The rooms are very small, but for a one person stay it doesn't really matter. Cleaning is done everyday, the facilities are new and modern. The hotel is very conveniently located, 5 minutes walk to Hakata station (the central one, you will use pretty much only this one during your stay in Fukuoka). Tenjin (another area with lots to see and to do, and the second biggest railway station) is 15 min away by foot or 4 min by subway (it's actually better to walk, it's faster and you get to see the city). Definitely, check 'Cafe de Crei' that is located right next to the hotel, I always had breakfasts there :) You can access the hotel either from Hakata or Gion stations for Airport subway line, it's only a couple of stops away.

Nothing, it's a standard and nice business hotel. No flaws.

Good location near Hakata and Gion stations. Rooms were clean and efficient, bed was comfortable, and the staff was very helpful and they understood most English.

Rooms were extremely small, making it difficult to access one side of the bed. I thought the room rates were high considering the small room size.

Convenient and clean, a chain of hotel that is well kept and well run. We were able to leave our luggage after check out.

We couldn’t turn off the heating so it got really hot at night that we had to sleep with the windows open, even during winter.

Location is close to either Gion or Hakata Station. However the map location in Google Maps is one block short. The beds & lighting system are indeed very comfy and feels high tech.

A little small if you consider bringing 2 XL luggage.

It's clean and comfort room. It's about 8 min walk to hakata station. Light switch panel is just beside the bed, it's really nice. You don't need to leave the bed to turn off the light

Need the room card to activate the electric power, so you cannot charge ur device in ur room when you go outside.
