We were only in Hiroshima for 2 nights so this hotel is perfect as it is right outside the Shinkansen exit. We were too early for checkin so we left our bags and hopped on a loop bus outside the hotel to the Memorial Park and museum. When we returned our bags were already in our room. Next day after an enormous breakfast we were at the station to catch a train to the Miyajima island and temple. Many restaurants around the station and only a few stops on the streetcar from the entertainment area. The hotel was typically high standard for Sheraton, modern and clean with lovely views. It had a brilliant breakfast and the staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful.

Great location! The hotel is right next to the train station, there is also a steelcar, city bus and airport bus stop in close proximity to the hotel. Very Nice breakfast! Hotel has a swimming pool and a few saunas.

It would be good to know before booking that using of hotel swimming pool and hotel saunas are paid. Also the doors to the toilet and bathroom at room are transparent. It was not pleasant, especially when using the toilet.

Location : next to Shinkansen station very convenient. At the station there is 3 bus services to bring you to the local attractions covered by your JR pass which is very convenient. A lot of eateries around this location making it so convenient.

Breakfast on Sunday is crazy. Super long Q and I know staff trying their best but food replenishment is also slow.

The hotel is located right next to the station, you can’t miss it. The lobby on the 7th floor features a cafe and two restaurants with affordable food options. The bakery had some delicious sweets, which we enjoyed every evening our trips. The staff at the reception is friendly and quick.

We were supposed to have a room with view but could only look at the building next to us. The bathroom is just horribly designed. If you travel with a partner, you better be prepared to hear ANYTHING they do on the toilet. The glasdooor to toilet and shower, half transparent from the middle upwards, doesn’t reach the ceiling and with absolutely no separation between bed and bathroom, you are in for some real entertainment.

Another reviewer nailed it - the rooms are palatial. Staff are very professional and efficient. The dining room/restaurant (which we did not visit) was buzzing with customers every night we were there - the aromas were so tempting. Did I mention how comfy the bed was??? It was a treat to stay here.

The only drawback is the lack of privacy when using the toilet or shower - the walls/doors consist of strategically shaded glass. So if you want to use the toilet without your roommate hearing you or seeing the top of your head, ask them to hang out near the window vs next to the bathroom area.

Best thing about this hotel is that you're just outside the shinkansen station, and I love this old part of Hiroshima. You're right in the middle of the REAL, untouristy city, and the street cars are abundant to take you where you want to go (also taxis of course.) The lobby is small but there is a nice seating area and they don't pressure you to order anything.

The restaurant was not very good, neither the service nor the food. I wish we didn't waste the time and money eating in the hotel. The room was a bit small, and the restroom has zero privacy-- you feel very exposed using it! Just be ready for that! Service-wise, they felt too busy and didn't take time to make sure we were taken care of. Any request was met with a scowl and I speak Japanese so I could hear what they were saying to each other when I asked for some help. The woman checking us in did not make us feel welcomed and in fact, seemed in a rush.

The hotel is very close to the Hiroshima station, less than 100m to walk from the Shinkansen tracks. The room (Deluxe with king size bed) is amazing, very large (27m²! Bigger than many parisian flats), never seen that much space in a hotel room, especially here in Japan. The bed was oversize and luxury, the tv has channels as TheCinema with international movies H24 (not mandatory but it is a plus when you are still jet lagging), the bathroom was great too and the view was nice. SPA center is incredible, the pool is big enough to swim, the jaccuzzi very nice, and the space for sauna/hammam perfect. There is a konbini at the foot of the hotel (as usual) and a okonomiyaki and a wonderful sushi restaurant also. All of that for a very competitive price !

Nothing blocking but : SPA is in additionnal charges (that is not a problem), but the charges are for a DAY, from 0h to 0h. It would have been better to make it for a night, from the check-in hour to check-out hour the next day. Some difficulties to ask some questions in english to the staff, even if they are incredibly helpful. Finally, just be careful, this room has only little separation between bedroom and bathroom, so you may see a little your roommates while they are taking their shower and hear when they poop :D Not a problem if you are with your girlfriend/boyfriend, but more if you travel with friends or parents.

The location is right next to the station, excellent location. The hotel offers toothpaste, toothbrush, razor, and comb if you forgot toiletries. The staff was very polite. I contacted before booking with some questions via booking chat and they replied fast and very helpful. The room was very good: clean and overall comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet-type with very good variety. I use a wheelchair to move around and the "universal" room was accessible. The shower is easy to access and with a considerable space for the wheelchair and an excellent quality shower chair.

The universal room is not a 100% barrier-free, for example the washbasin is not accessible since you cannot roll under. The carpet was thick and not easy to push around.

Had a really nice time at this hotel. It's connected to the train station which was excellent. Took seconds to walk over. A huge food plaza next to the sheraton, was great to have so many restaurant options so close. Clean room and great service. Held our bags for us before and after our stay for a few hours. The gym was free and really nice, yoga mats and towels provided inside. Best hotel gym iv seen.

The pool was not free to use which was a shame. The layout of the room is interesting. You feel like your in the bedroom when you use the loo as it's all so close and open.

Outstanding! The best hotel we stayed at for our whole trip. Firstly, the location is excellent. It's right outside the entrance to the train station. Reception staff were very friendly and check-in was easy. The room was lovely. The view out the window was great and we could see as far as Miyajima island. Huge comfy bed and beautiful bathroom with big wet room and separate toilet. Amenities were good quality. It was our 30th Wedding Anniversary and they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We got excellent service from the concierge who helped us with directions and attractions. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of food and all top quality. We would definitely stay here again.
