These APA hotels are great. Excellent value for money, easy to access locations and great little rooms. They provide all the toiletries you require, have a big screen TV if you want to watch something, a comforre clean, well lit and comfortable. They are quite small rooms which is fine for one person, 2 will be a squeeze, but still comfortable enough. Tea, coffee, kettle, fridge. At this location they had a fully digital checkin system which came with an English option if required and the staff spoke English.

They control the heating centrally so the rooms can be a little cold when travelling in winter and there are no extra blankets in the rooms. I suppose you could ask at reception for an exrta, but i wasn't cold enough to worry about doing so.

I like everything from this hotel, the location is already exceptional next to Nagoya central train station, the spa in it has everything that you need, they have vending machines around and the treatment of the staff was excellent and helpful since the very beginning. The best hotel I have stayed in Japan so far.

I had a great stay at APA Hotel Nagoya Ekimae. The management was efficient, and as part of the APA chain, it offered consistent quality. The public bath was a nice feature, and the hotel was very clean. I also appreciated the smart check-in process and convenient luggage services, which made everything hassle-free.

However, despite being close to Nagoya Station, the hotel is on the opposite side of most attractions, so it was a bit of a walk to get to the station and other popular spots. It's okay if you are willing to take taxis, otherwise coming back late is a hassle.

We stayed two nights. We were looking for something close to Nagoya station and a good price. The hotel was solid for our needs. We were in Nagoya to sightsee and we simply used the hotels for sleeping. It did the job. The hotel had comfy beds, solid air conditioning and good amenities. The room is small…so if you are looking to spread out and fit space you won’t like it. But there were two of us in this room and we both had a large suitcase and a backpack and we made it work easily. The washroom has everything you need and great water pressure.

It was a central location and I was able to get to wherever I wanted without issues. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. I like that they had an open air bath and stored my luggage for me before I was able to check in.

If you order Ubereats, you have to go down and take the food from the delivery person yourself. They would not even hold the food for me so the delivery person can go. That was awkward. Also, they didn’t help me bring my luggage up even when I clearly struggled with a giant suitcase and a smaller one. Other lesser hotels had my luggage already in my room by the time I checked in.

The location is very strategic and it takes around 5 minutes walk to Nagoya station.

Only 2 washer and dryer machinese are supplied inside the ladies bath area (I believe there is another 2 in men bath area) which seems to have ticked the box of providing laundromat services, but considering the amount of room and tourists staying in the hotel, the washer & dryer are always occupied either in the morning or evening or late night.

The location is quite closed to the station. Very convenient and also able to go to mini mart nearby. The price is very good comparing to facilities. It’s not common to get this price with onsen facilities. The breakfast buffet line also have various kind of food and in good quality.

As the hotel’s price is very good and full of services, sometimes it’s quite crowded. Room size is quite tiny except you book the corner room, its size is very proper.

Everything! Staff was excellent and the rooms were large and comfortable. This hotel has an open air design, which is unique but the halls can be cooler than expected, we were put in a closed hall area with a door to control the temp in our hallway. Very nice. The rooms were set up nicely and the view was excellent. The staff made sure our rooms were next to each other and my mom really enjoyed the large spa baths.

There were only two washing machines and dryers... That's it, everything else was fantastic.

The staff were the most welcoming and warm. They went out of their way to help us get rooms next to each other( traveling with my mom and her friend. Plus my mom is in a wheelchair) Helped us to forward our bags to Toyama and let us go back to our room when we lost something... After we had checked out. Wonderful and caring staff! 🥰

We prepaid for breakfast.. well they didn't have a dining room and the Pub next door where we had to dine was small for my mom's wheelchair. That is the only complaint we had.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the facilities, including the hot spring, were excellent. Overall, it offered great value for money.

The room was slightly cramped, making it difficult to fully open two pieces of luggage at once. Additionally, the drying machine didn’t function properly, possibly due to dust buildup, as my clothes remained damp even after 1.5 hours of drying.
