Nice, modern hotel! very clean! family mart just next to the entrance. the room was great!! the view amazing! the bed comfy! the room is bigger then normal japanese hotel rooms. so is the bath. you have a big balcony front where you can see the ocean and ginowan. perfect! the hotel is at the route 58. where you can drive anywhere! but dont wory - you dont hear the street, as the rooms do not face it. also the bus station is close by, like 2-3min walk. there you almost can go anywhere. but i still recommend a rental car! parking is free at the hotel and a gas-station is next to it. without car it is more difficult, because you have to walk longer to get to the next caffee or restaurant or to the beach. also for golfers, it is perfect place. from the hotel you can reach almost any golf course in max 1 hour. ocean castle golf course is just 15min drive away.

what did i not like.. this is difficult... one thing is probably the restaurant. breakfast ist way to expensive! i never went there. lunch and dinner is even more expensiv. like 3000 yen for dinner. i could get a 250gr steak with sides and drink for that.

Very clean, very nice for the price. Staff were kind and helpful despite the language barrier. Everything you would need is supplied, easy to get clean towels. Made the reservation last minute and it was not an issue at all. Has a FamilyMart in the parking lot which is very convenient. Have to use the key card to use the elevator and to open the front doors during the very late/early hours which felt very secure.

Right on a busy street so getting in and out is difficult especially during high traffic hours. A lot of traffic in and out due to the hotel sharing a parking lot with a restaurant and a convenience store.

Good location and there's a Fami-mart downstairs. Our guestroom is clean and comfy. Generous welcoming drinks and snacks including 2 cans of beers, 4 cans of juice, 2 bottles of wine and delicious 5 snacks and partially refill is available for 2nd day! Nice shower with good water pressure and temperature adjustment. Staffs we met are all friendly, nice stay experience! Guests could choose 1 day for housekeeping during 3-night-stay.

Pillows are too soft for me but staff provided different types of pillows upon our request and solved it

The room was an outstanding value for the price. It was clean and there was plenty of parking. The hotel is conveniently located to attractions in central Okinawa, and you can access the toll road for trips north or south easily from here. On my next visit I would try to book a little larger room. The bed is fine but the mattress is softer than I'm used to.

The mattress of the bed was softer than I would prefer but for the price and considering it was a three week stay I can't complain.

I was staying for work and it was a five minute drive to the site. It's a little out of the big city, but there are so many restaurants and coffee shops, etc. that it was not a problem. There is a great Onsen just minutes from the hotel. All the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially the two women that worked most evenings/nights.

I really didn't have any issues. I guess a pool might have been nice, but I rarely use them when traveling so no problem.

The sell point is that the property was clean, as well as the room. I like having a convenience store close by and rental car available up front, even though I didn’t use the services. I like the smaller boutique type of hotel. I like the ocean view and separate toilet from the bathroom. The balcony was nice with chairs.

The pillow was too soft. I used 2 pillows. I wish there were ocean view rooms with separate toilet other than the deluxe room that came with drinks and snacks. I wish the cafe had more options.

Very great hotel, the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The room and hotel was even better than I imagined. There is a washing machine, microwave and ice cube machine in the hotel and there is even a small refrigerator in the room! I was on the 6th floor and had a good view of the sea. The hotel also has a restaurant and a family mart. The bus station is a 5-minute walk away. I will definitely come back here one day!

Toshi was a great host, with excellent communication. Room was spacious and comfy. The Grand has an amazing buffet restaurant for "in house" dining and there's a great value Korean cafe directly opposite.

If you want to be really picky, a swimming pool for that size hotel would've been good, otherwise NO disappointments other than not being able to bring the space age dunny home with us !

Reasonable price, convenient location for my purpose of visit, friendly staff and clean facility. Plenty parking spaces and I love the fact that FamilyMart was downstairs.

Our stay for the past 10 nights were nothing short of amazing! I would definitely book with the Grand Hotel Ginowan again if I’m ever back in Okinawa! :)
