The breakfast was very good, superb coffee and croissants. The location is excellent. The staff were all very efficient and friendly. After check in (more of below) later in the day we asked for extra pillows and top sheets, met with a prompt and efficient reply and both quickly delivered to the room. Beds are very comfortable. The room is small but efficient use of space. Could use some extra hooks in various places for clothes

Sorry to be picky but we had the same young lady at check in and at check out, she was there by herself otherwise I would have asked for someone else . Both times she looked like she was about to burst into tears, she had the tiniest voice, even Japanese guests couldn't hear or understand her, asked what she had said she spoke even softer and looked even more depressed. such a contrast to all the other staff. I think she might need help

Good location to subway and train stations - 15 min or less walk to Tokyo station with 3 subway stations a 5 min walk away. Quiet neighborhood, kind and efficient staff, room and hotel at large was quite clean. Nice amenities for your room with vending and ice on the main floor. Elevators were quick and clean as well. The room was on the smaller size for western standards but just fine for Tokyo. Bathroom was quite large with a traditional deep soaking tub and fast flow faucets. Beds and bedding was comfortable with a good number of plugs both electric and USB.

Everything was as expected. We had a good stay.

Was a bit surprised that one of the pillows was hard as if it was filled with rise, apparently it is Japan thing as we have experienced that in a few hotels. Personal was very polite, but could not speak English at all. A bit far from central station, there are other lines who stop nearby, but they are not part of JR pass

Room had ample room for 1 person, the bathroom was very spacious. Although in a quieter part of Tokyo meaning it would take a couple trains to get to Shibuya/Shinjuku, I liked how quiet it was at night. Lots of local chain restaurants around that didn't have long lines to eat at. Rooms were very clean and towels were changed daily (beds remade every 4 days). Coin washing machine is convenient for longer stays.

Pillows were a bit awkward and difficult to get comfortable as they were "4-in-1". I wouldn't recommend paying extra for breakfast as it is just a couple pastries. I only had breakfast in my room 1 of my 7 mornings, other mornings I opted for convenience store breakfasts.

One of the first hotels I booked for our trip to Japan and I booked a double. I later found out that it is better to book twin rooms as they are generally a bit more spacious. The bed was against the wall meaning one person has to climb over the other or try to squeeze between the end of the bed and the wall - not very convenient for night time trips to the bathroom. Like many other hotels the check in was supposed to be automated but there were very nice reception staff on hand to do it for us. Not sure why they bother with this although maybe the Japanese guests have no trouble with the machines like we did. Like most Japanese hotels a very high standard of facilities and services such as bathrobes and umbrellas - very useful as it seemed to rain a lot when we were there. As mentioned above the room was quite small and with only chair which for a double room is my pet hate as one person has no option other than to sit on the bed. OK if you are young but a recipe for a sore back for us oldies. Breakfast was an available option but we didn't take it so can't really comment. Location was good. A ten minute walk from Central Station or two minutes from the nearest JR station ( Hatchoburi - not 100% sure of the spelling ) and with several convenience stores within a couple of hundred metres. There was also an excellent Thai restaurant ( Akka ) about a five minute walk from the hotel.

As mentioned above the room is small ( but standard for Tokyo ) and other than some hooks and coat hangers there is no storage space - again this is in common with most of the other hotel rooms we stayed in. We travel with hand luggage only so not really a problem but a big, wheelie suitcase full of clothes would be a nightmare unless you were super organised and tidy.

Room was nice, with all the amenities. Got a double room and I was happy with my choice, as a small-double room would have been too small for us (travelling with large luggage) Location was good. 15min walk from Tokyo station and there are underground stations all around the hotel as well (Ginza line at 10min walk), (Akihabara line at 3min walk), etc.

The breakfast options were poor but I was okay with that, as I already knew by reading other comments in booking. It consisted of: coffee/tea/juice/water, soup of the day, salad, sausages, assorted bread, croissant and small muffins. Which was enough for me.

Hotel was conveniently located in between two stations about 5 to 10 minutes away. Staff service was great, allowing for luggage storage before check in and even sent the luggage to the room before check in. The staff were also able to communicate in fluent English and were clear in explaining the amenities of the hotel. Staff was amenable and made us feel welcomed. Hotel room was spacious for its price. We were able to store the luggage and have enough walking space. A special point for the hotel, they have a small reading corner with manga and allows for guests to bring to their rooms.

A minor negative which doesn't change that this is a good hotel in stay in. There was a constant flow of cold air in the bathroom and since the visit was in autumn (Nov), we were immediately shivering from the cold air. The air conditioning in the bedroom was set to heating mode at 26 degrees, so the cold was not from the air conditioning. It was a minor inconvenience, while getting dry and changing.

Comfortable beds, staff was very nice and helpful with check in, and they spoke great English. Was also very clean.

We got the twin bed room and it was very tiny in terms of space. We struggled to find space to open our suitcases and there was not much open space to move around in. Breakfast was quite sparse. Croissants, muffins, bread, some fruits and vegetables, and coffee. The problem is they had no bread toppings. No cold cut, no cheese, no jam, no Nutella, nothing. Would be great if they could add some of that to the menu.

Really like the facilities and the efforts hotel made to be more eco friendly. The location is great too, convenient and near the metro station (about 200m) and convenient stores. There are also good eatery around the corners. Room is clean and wifi is fast.

Hotel is not pet friendly, but it is not key essential. The sound proofing is not as great as we can hear movements outside. Double room is a little squeezy for 2 adults. Not enough place for 2 big luggage.

Absolutely great quiet location away from hustle and bustle of the touristy Shibuya area. The staff were AMAZING, so nice, so lovely, very helpful! The rooms were super clean, bathroom was bigger than expected, the beds were comfortable. Each room has a deoderiser spray (which helps after eating out!). the lobby has umbrellas you can borrow for te day incase you forgot yours. Truly exceptional service!!
