It's within walking distance to a number of different train stations and train lines so connectivity is not an issue so long as you don't mind walking a few blocks and having to switch lines. Great dining options all around (shout out to the torikizoku just right outside the hotel which I failed to notice during initial research but where we ended up dining at twice) Love the staff, conversant in English, warm, friendly and helpful. Many many thumbs up! Stayed in the Pokemon themed room and loved it. Well-themed and appointed. Great ensuite toilet and bathroom. Spacious seating/dining area. In fact, the room was so spacious I could spread out 4 whole suitcases on the floor to pack our loot leisurely. A luxury in space starved Tokyo. There was a bedside window that was covered up but letting in light from the outside throughout the entire night. Didn't bother us but some may find that less than restful. Weirdly non-functional kitchenette; cutlery, crockery, stove and hood provided but no pots and pans. No matter since we didn't need to cook (again, so many good dining options at the doorstep!) but for those who do, you may want to enquire with the staff if they loan them out or something. Dryer in the laundry room could be more powerful; remember to clear the lint and stick to smaller loads!

We booked this accommodation travelling together as 4 friends primarily for the Rockin'on Sonic Music Festival — location is great with quite a few metro stations within walking distance from it, and many konbinis around the area for our late night session/breakfast grabs. Hatchobori station is also 3 stops away from the prime Ginza shopping district. The apartment was spacious enough even with 4 luggage, plus a cosy seating area for us to unwind and hang out. Maintenance crew was prompt with towel change and trash bag replacement/disposal every morning on days when there was no room makeup. All of us had good sleeps on the bedding provided, and there were ample charging points throughout the room. We made very good use of the fridge and microwave provided, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Sink mixer in our apartment was a tad wonky and hard to adjust — water was either too cold (it's winter) or too hot (almost painful) most times.

The design of the kid bunks is very thoughtful, with a little extra headboard so lights elsewhere would not get in the eyes of sleeping kids. Each bunk bed had its own reading light. Pokemon room was such a fun surprise for the kids! And it’s nice that the bath is separate from the toilet.

One of the reading lights in the kids bunks was not working. When we told them, they said they would fix it the next day, but we would be checking out before they could get to it. Also, for some reason, the smoking corner and the kids game area are the same/adjacent…

We loved the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the staff. The location was great, close to multiple subway lines which made getting to where we needed easy and have us options.

Small things. We stayed twice, one room had really small coffee cups, rhe other had good sized ones (see, I said a small thing haha). I also found the toilet space was small compared to another Mimaru hotel we have stayed in. My elbow sometimes turned the light off when pulling my pants up. Just had to get the angle right.

The hotel is located in an office area, very quiet and easy to reach from Haneda, and very close to line H and T. I strongly recommend you to get a PASMO card at Haneda airport, it can be used in bus, metro and JR trains (no Shinkansen) as well as in many shops, and you can charge it at the hotel. There are plenty of small restaurants and grocery shops, check whether the restaurant you want to go to is open over the WE. The hotel staff were all very friendly and very helpful. They ordered a big taxi for us to Haneda for 9000 EUR, it looked like a VIP car. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfy. Be aware of the cleaning schedule at the time you check in, staff will guide you through.

Be aware that if you use the washing machine service at the hotel (400 Yen's for 30 Min) will not wash your clothes as if you were at home. Driers cost 100 yens every 30 Min, and you will need at least 90 min to get all clothes dried. TV has no international channels.

The location was good, with public transport close by and plenty of food options! It was clean and very well maintained. Rooms were of very decent size, for Tokyo/japan standards. The staff were all very friendly.

Staff were friendly, but were not always super helpful with our requests or perhaps were not as informed as they could have been on local attractions and transport options. We booked room with the projector, but didn’t find it very easy to use / navigate in English, so that was wasted on us. Our family booked the same room next door, and unfortunately the projector didn’t work (so for the extra money you pay for it that was a bit of a letdown). There is not much natural light in the rooms, with half the window covered with shutter/panel. But not a huge issue I guess. Pillows were pretty terrible. I couldn’t get a decent nights sleep. But that could be a very personal view.. (beds were fine!).

The staff at the front desk and the cleaning crew are so nice and accommodating. The staff at the front desk, whether they are on day or night shift, always greet us and smiling. The room is just perfect for the three of us with all the facilities that you can say it's 'a home away from home', kitchenette is fully equipped with all the utensils. The laundry facilities are located on the 2nd floor, with a coin changing machine next to it. The area is full of little eateries, and mini marts like Lawsons, Family Mart, and a Sugi Pharmacy nearby. The Tokyo train station is less than 20 mins walk away and great for catching Shinkansen trains. We use the Hibiya line, which is like 5 minutes’ walk, from the stay to Akihabara. Thank you to the front desk staff for arranging our taxi to Narita Airport which takes a lot of stress out of us. Mimaru apartment is our go to apartment hotel whenever we are in Japan.

Not really a negative comment, but, be warned that the building is set further in from the main road. Our room happened to look straight into the offices across the side road.

The neighbourhood was fairly quiet but felt safe and was just a short (few minutes) walk to local metro stations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a great size. I find having the kitchenette and little lounge seating area with table very useful when travelling as a family. This meant we could sometimes buy takeaway food and eat in, could store things in the fridge etc. The beds are a good size and the layout fantastic. We have two teenage boys, the tallest is about 5'9 and he slept comfortable in one of the bunks. I found the bed comfortable, my hubby thinks they're a bit too firm. The laundry was useful.

Hubby found the mattress a bit too firm. The lack of an opening window I found a bit stuffy. The shower was not consistently very hot but not freezing cold either.

Hotel was very well located, around a 5 minute walk from Hatchobori and Kayabacho station, which connects to many other lines. Many convenience stores, restaurants and drug store nearrby. Tokyo station a 15 minute walk or two bus stops away. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were decently sized for Japanese standards, clean and came with basic amenities and beds were very comfortable. Towels are changed everyday but cleaning every four days. There is washing and drying facilities which is coin operated.

Price was a little steep considering there is no breakfast included. The dryer in the laundry room is. It efficient at all and takes a long time to dry a load of washing. It took roughly 1 1/2 hours to dry one load of washing which even then wasn’t fully dry.

The staff was exceptional. The room was very clean and very comfortable, and the kids loved the bunk beds. Laundry facilities are convenient and detergent is included. I would recommend the family room with the projector if you can get it. The regular TV room does not have an internet connection so you can only get basic Japanese channels. The projector has an internet connection and has the YouTube and Netflix apps built in. The location is good - between the Kayabatcho and the Hatchobori stations within a 0.25 mile walk. Multiple good restaurants, convenience stores, and pharmacies nearby. Would definitely stay here again if we come to Tokyo.

Nothing really. Maybe a swimming pool or a hotel gym would have been a nice bonus.
