A comfortable breakfast selection. A Lawson convenient store was great to see inside the hotel for quick purchase of snacks, drinks or extra amenities (Muslim travelers should be cautious with the snack choices). Friendly staff and helpful to know a few knew and spoke English. Interesting to see a clothing store next to the hotel in case of travelers wanting to buy some new clothes. Loved the fact that the hotel was located right next to a train station that had a direct line to Tokyo Station. Extra convenient stores within walking distances as well as a supermarket nearby. Thankful that the hotel accepted late checkout, at additional cost and as long they are notified beforehand, which was helpful for late night flights.

No convenient Halal breakfast options for travelling Muslims like myself. No ironing boards, but this might've likely stemmed from my room choice. Laundry is coin restricted and self-served rather than a service by the hotel.

Big spacious rooms with modern features and very clean.

Location isn't the best with not much to do or see around the hotel itself compared to other Tokyo hotels. It is right across the road from JR station and only 3 stops from Tokyo but once at Tokyo, the walk to the other connecting JR lines is a good 10-15 minutes. Very hard with a family carrying luggage.

Very decent hotel. Nice and not too small room. Getting to the hotel with public transport is very easy. Convenience store inside the hotel was very welcome.

Hotel is a bit anonymous. Outside of our room were rail tracks. Though the windows were well soundproofed we could hear certain trains that were more noisy.

Hotel Kaie is just across the Shiomi station (3 stops from Tokyo station) and we loved our stay as this is our first family trip in Japan! They offered us a better room and it was such a good deal. Like most people who’s been here, we enjoyed the many freebies (bath salts, etc) and every member of the staff is very helpful including the employees at Lawson!

We loved our stay here! at the beginning we were not sure if staying in this hotel or others in Shibuya/Shinjuku because of location but we ended up choosing this one, and it was the best decision for us! After touristing all day it was nice to come to a calm and quite neighborhood/hotel. The station is right in front of the hotel so is easy to move around tokyo (and you never stay in just one area). We had two full beds, so the room was bigger than other standard double rooms in other hotels. The convini store inside the hotel is amazing, anything you need is right there. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Very clean rooms. They clean up the room and change towels everyday (not all hotels in tokyo do this everyday).

Property is like new and very clean. The rooms are bigger than most hotels we’ve stayed in, in Japan. The rooms are very functional and smartly designed with toilet separate from bath area. Lighting is excellent. Laundry facilities are available. Breakfast included was really good on 2nd floor. Staff is friendly and accommodating especially Motohashi at breakfast and Machida at front desk.

The hotel is convenient to Tokyo Disney so there will be activity noise from families. One morning, the room above us was especially noisy, but the group checked out that day. We were moved to the top floor later.

Amazing location, not even a minute walk from the train station that can take you to Tokyo station in about 7 minutes. The hotel is very clean, beautiful and modern - and so are the rooms. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and quiet so you can get a goodnight sleep every night! There are a few convenience stores, a supermarket and several small restaurants nearby. The dining options at the hotel itself are fabulous - great food and service! Staff were very helpful and spoke good English! I would stay here again.

The bed was a little bit small for the two of us - it's enough space but not too roomy if you like rolling around in your sleep :)

I had gotten 2 rooms for my family. 1 for 2 adults, the other family room for 2 pax. bathroom and toilet was separated. both comes with basin. the family room came with an extra basin installed. the hotel provide self helped extra amenities that could be obtained from the hotel lobby like bath salts, bubble bath, lotion, cleansing gel etc. the bed, pyjamas was comfortable. while I didn't use the coin laundry, ice dispenser, microwave available at level 2, it looks clean and tied. a laundry area comes with a whole shelves of comic books. hotel is just a stone throw to Shiomi Station. very near Disneyland Maihama Station. there's a 24hour convenience store and supermarket next to Shiomi station.

would be better if TV could have installed with other global programmes apart from all in Japanese. but it's least of a concern.

The room was enough for 3 people with 3 luggages (2 checked-in size and 1 hand carry). The location was just in front of Shiomi JR station, with nearby supermarket, convenience stores and a restaurant. It was a seamless check-in/check-out process with luggage storage and they helped us book a taxi to Haneda airport. There's also a Lawson at reception area and free amenities (even face masks!). Rooms also have complimentary water which isn't usual for hotels. Happy to have stayed here as it was comfortable for the three of us.

Location wise, we found that it's quite a walk to transfer between the Shiomi line and Tokyo station. On our way back to the hotel, we always end up getting off at Hatchobori station as it's a much shorter walk to transfer to the Shiomi line. Also, I think the trash bin size (room and toilet) is small if there are multiple people staying. We weren't sure if we should put up the 'make up room' sign just to empty the trash.
