A very big room with a big and comfortable bed. The location is great: super central and well-connected. The area felt quite safe and always lively.

The room is very noisy: the door does not filter out any noise from the corridor and from the other rooms; the windows don't filter out the noise from the street. A do-not-disturb sign was not provided; for this reason, the cleaning personnel would knock at random times during the day... very suboptimal. I tried a coffee and croissant from the internal restaurant: this was embarrassing. The coffee was terrible and the croissant was old and dry.

Location, Rooftoop, cozy room and staff ! Staff was great, always willing to help and taking care of every detail. Our room was always on point! If I’m not mistaken our camarista was Eva and she did a great job ( we never saw her but we knew her name ). Rooftop is very beautiful and has a great environment to go for dinner or for a drink. Room was super cozy mostly the bed !

The bathroom of the hotel is not that nice, very very small and needs a renovation because the curtains were dirty and very old. The shower was very weak and in general the bathroom is very old.

Nice and clean budget hotel located close to walking distance of many attractions

The hotel is surrounded (sides and back) by a literally a block of a street food market ( which was perfectly fine with me) but on the other side and back there’s a neglected area; we avoided the back street and bars on the left side. We never felt unsecured but those areas were not pleasant. Not a deal breaker.. would definitely stay there again!

Sometimes a bit of smell from the street but that is not really something that the hotel can do something about and it was just very brief moments Also our room was oriented to a street where there was a bar, it was very loud the whole weekend night till early morning, but we were so tired and we sleep pretty deep that it wasnt too bad :)

I usually give Fontan 5 stars. However, on this trip I had two problems. First I accidentally booked the wrong date, I meant to book for that same day, but booked for the next day. I prepaid with PayPal, I would never do that again. Because once they had my money they threatened to keep it, made me pay twice as much to stay that night, even though they had plenty of vacancies, I was pretty disappointed. And there was no hot water, I spoke to reception, they said they would check it out, but even the next morning the water was only lukewarm. But in general it's a great hotel.

Location is excellent, within walking distance of most sites. The hotel is beautiful, the terrace restaurant/bar has a great view of the city, and the service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our room was comfortable and clean, and met our expectations. But it's not an expensive place, so don't expect anywhere near that in the room. Lighting in the bathroom was a bit outdated, furniture was stressed painted. Perfect fir us though.

Actually this hotel is great value for money. A spacious room and and a very large bed. Perfectly situated at the Paseo de la Reforma and at the corner of the Centro Historico quarter and next to Alameda parc. Friendly service at the front desk en really excellent service (quality with a real smile) and breakfast (various tasteful options). The chef that runs the restaurant is really great. Not only does he (with his staf) provide you tasty food, his friendly attitude and the smile on his face while running the place makes it a joy having breakfast here!

The rooftop bar (which could be a great location for a evening drink) is unfortunately to often limited for hotel guest due to “private” party’s or happenings (however Cerveceria Barrio Alsmeda 7min walk away and at Avenida Juarez is a perfect alternative for your evening drink. Maybe not the view but top atmosphere, service and drinks nevertheless :-) )

The location is exceptional, next to a Metro Station, walking distance to El Zocalo, very close to Teatro de Bellas Artes and Alameda Central. The room is nice and enough to rest. The hotel has a coffee shop in the lobby that is good. The crew was gentle.

The surroundings of the facility and the noise coming from hallways, but worked for us.
