A convenient, comfortable and quiet location especially for a mobility handicapped person with an included self-service good hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, meat, yogurt, self-cooked waffles, plus juice choices, breakfast cereals, fresh fruits, milk, tea and coffee. I also like the location near an Interstate highway 5 exit at Oregon highway 22. I've stayed at this location many times and it is my preferred lodging location in the Salem, Oregon area. The lodging location is off a parallel road on the west side of Interstate highway 5. For the location of a large variety of nearby restaurants I recommend driving on Oregon highway 22 to the east side of Interstate highway 5 then take the exit onto Lancaster Drive and go northbound to a choice of many restaurants on both sides of Lancaster Drive.

I liked everything about this lodging facility and friendly staff, but the entrance to the driveway needs to be taken slowly since there is a change in elevation from the paved road onto the paved driveway that is higher than a speed bump or speed hump.

This motel in a quiet area near the intersection of Interstate Hwy I-5 & Oregon Hwy 22 is my favorite lodging location when I come to Salem, OR. Access and exit to handicap parking are good with space for taking my walker out and in from the side of my car. The handicap rooms meet ADA requirements with a comfortable bed and a suite section with a sofa & desk for a meeting with a couple of guests. The included breakfast has hot and cold food choices. I found the hot biscuits very delicious, and I liked the self-service waffle makers with a choice of a large waffle or multiple small waffles and a choice of regular batter or chocolate batter. The entire facility staff was very friendly and helpful particularly with the location of the nearest U.S. Post Office, many restaurants and retail stores within a short driving distance. A Dennys restaurant, several street blocks away, was the only restaurant within walking distance.

A bakery, Denny's restaurant, vehicle gasoline station and a Harbor Freight tool store were the only retail locations within several street blocks walking distance, but since my car was in good working order I didn't mind driving a little further than walking distance. I've stayed at nearby motels in the past, but I prefer this Comfort Suites Salem if there is a room available.

The hotel is located in a quiet and neat neighborood, in a very weel kept building. the interiors are pleasant and overall cleanliness is good. The staff at reception is friendly and helpful. the family room was pleasant, clean, and comfy, besides the fact that is too small for 5 people.

The size of the family room is not adequate for 5 people (although carrying only cabin sized luggage): it was OK to stay 1 night, otherwise would have been very uncomfortable. The breakfast room is far too smal for such a large hotel, and it felt messy and unconfrotable.

Everything in the room and hotel listing was correct. Furniture was comfortable, fridge, microwave, and coffee all worked. They had hot food for breakfast. Everything was just perfect for a super fast overnight stay in and out of town.

Not necessarily the hotels fault, but there was some kids sports teams staying there, with kids running down the hall well past 10pm and it was super annoying. I would hope there is future discussion on children being accompanied by adults at all times or something.

The heated pool, the spa, the sauna, and the workout room were all great. It was also nice to have a big roomy bedroom.

There are many very bright security lights, right outside our bedroom window and parked cars that turn ther there they turn their lights off and on. Normally, not a problem, there are sheer curtains, and blackout curtains. But wait, there is a problem, the black out curtains only goes so far, they’re just for looks at each side they don’t go all the way across the window. Room 104 doesn’t need any night lights they just need a complete set of blackout curtains.  Now, for the toilet paper roll. It’s a one armed bandit, and that’s a good thing. However, when you tear off a piece, the role goes flying forward onto the floor. How about putting that toilet paper arm straight up or facing the back.? Just a thought.

I'm familiar with this particular Comfort Suites and this is a repeated stay. The location is close to the intersection of OR hwy 22 and hwy I-5 with I-5 on and off ramps going north and south and is easy to find. An affordable, clean & quiet room with a comfortable bed, TV, microwave oven, refrigerator with a freezer compartment, free password wi-fi, an ironing board, a hot & cold self-serve breakfast, adequate parking, plus a nearby post office, airport, numerous restaurants and retail stores are my major reasons for coming back to this hotel.

I would like the self-serve breakfast to include some milk and dry cereal choices.

Everything! Gorgeous property very clean! Staff were second to none with customer service! The breakfast is phenomenal and over and beyond and breakfast at a motel i have experienced! The pool, sauna and jacuzzi are open till midnight whoch is another first for a motel! All in all the best motel experience to date! Front desk manager was exceptional and extremly kind and willing to help absolutely anyway she could! I appreciate all the staff at comfort suites you made my nightmare of a trip doable!

Indoor pool, hot tub, jacuzzi, and sauna/steam room. Love the sausages and biscuits and gravy. Of course. The waffles and juices and unlimited lemon ice water and coffee 24/7, Love that there are actual food items as well as snacks that can be purchased all night. Beds were comfortable. Extra linens in drawers.

Pool was a tiny bit cool, but fine.

Pool was the best part and the hot tub! We also liked that it was off the highway but in a safe area and close to most stores/ food places if we needed to go.

There was a red stain on the carpet that was really noticeable. The heater a/c was would get loud when I had it on at times and with trying to get sleep that was very annoying. Arriving there I was given a room with one king bed instead of two queen beds with 3 kids being in the car for 6 hours they just were ready to relax and having to deal with this was also frustrating. The man there did fix the issue but he did mention that WE had booked 1 king bed NOT the 2queen beds and to be careful while booking which was not the case I made sure everything we booked as we wanted, I also showed him my booking receipt to confirm with him that everything was good on my end. He said it might be the booking website, so I’m not sure what really happened there.

The room was great. I work nights as do workout after hours.

All of thee issues were in that fitness Center room. The treadmill was out of date & sync. After figuring out a moderate speed 30 complicated minutes. Thee AC behind treadmill was another complicated task to keep air flowing. & Lastly upon getting on the treadmill to adjust a descent speed, Thee lights in the fitness Center turned off or were shut off after being there only 30 or more minutes. I thought someone either deliberately turned them off & wanted Me out, Or there was a default switch without warning upon running on treadmill. This was kind of creepy or scary almost as if rude & abrupt. I'm being straightforward honest here. & would suggest a more welcoming up to date fitness Center as if People's lives do depend on it.
