The location was GREAT, right in the heart of downtown Salem. I really enjoyed the fact that we could walk around the downtown area very easily. The hotel was also very modern looking and I enjoyed the large seating rooms where you can read a book or enjoy coffee in the morning.

Being on the corner of a busy street, you could hear all the cars going by in the room we occupied all day and night. Not sure if rooms higher up have less street noise, but being on the 3rd floor you could hear all the outside noise, it was hard to sleep. Also, it seemed the walls were rather thin because one morning I heard an alarm going off for at least 5 minutes.

The room was spacious, nice, and clean. The bar and food associated with it were amazing. Staff were friendly and exceptional. Check in was simple and they were able to accommodate an early check in.

The hours of the bar and restaurant were limited. It would have been nice if it were open for lunch or full breakfast hours. While they have a coffee spot in the hotel, it is just not the same as a sit-down breakfast if that is what you crave. Not a deal breaker because everything else exceeded my expectations and there are plenty of amazing restaurants in walking distance.

The hotel is in a good downtown location close to a number of restaurants and cafes. The hotel seems quite new and looked clean and contemporary. I found some great outdoor running options in the local country park a few minutes run from the hotel. The cafe in reception was good and a nice bar. The team were friendly and helpful.

There is some road noise due to the location of the hotel. This starts from around 5:00 AM. If you are a light sleeper you may want to ask for a quiet room.

This hotel was very nice, the staff was friendly, and accommodating the room was cold and clean. The bathroom had a rain shower head and the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. We had breakfast at the coffee shop in the lobby which was good. My coffee could have been stronger but the atmosphere and staff made up for that. Everyone here was very accommodating. Unfortunately, we were only in town for one night so we didn't get a chance to explore the neighborhood but the hotel was within walking distance to lots of things. We will be back.

Location, staff and clean beautiful place

Beds were very hard, pillows flat, low flow shower heads, as usual are the worst. Cannot get the soap out of your hair. Takes forever to wash the soap off you. Not sure they really save any water because you stay in the shower so long cleaning the soap off you.

Very convenient to University campus and restaurants, but loved the restaurant on-site for rainy mornings and late dinners. We especially loved the lounge areas for private calls and homework.

We had to switch rooms after first night due to noisy neighbors above us, but the staff were very accommodating and helped us make a quick and easy room change.

The location was very convenient to restaurants and all of downtown Salem. Coffee bar and restaurant on site. We only used the coffee bar.

Had to ask for our room to be cleaned. Left at 11 and got back at 4 and the room hadn't been touched. Explained that stay overs get cleaned in the morning. Never have run into this before. Only had valet parking and when we arrived it was backed up due to a group checking in and no where to even pull your car over.

Location was perfect for me. A lot of restaurant options.

The room was difficult to keep at 69-70 degrees. When I arrived it was 75 degrees, and another time it was turned off and was quite warm. I felt like I had to keep adjusting it to keep it cool. I know that the restaurant will be open In a month, but I arrived at 8 pm on a weeknight, and all the restaurants in town close at 9 (apparently). It would have been nice not to have to brave the rain in the dark as a female.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Facilities were clean and modern Breakfast was exceptional Staff accommodation with issue during stay Room service was prompt Valet service was great - felt assured my car was safe

The room could not get dark - curtains were inadequate to block light making it hardcto sleep Was not ckearinformed how to access services

The location was great. It is close to everything in downtown Salem. The beds were comfortable. The pillows were great. Each bed had four different types of pillows so you could find one for you.

The hotel is new. They need to work out the kinks. The HVAC system had a mind of its own. It would blow hot and cold air randomly. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. The hotel parking sign was false advertising as they only had valet which was very slow.
