Cozy and chilled place. Jungle surroundings give really nice vibe. We had a very calm and peaceful stay. Rented a scooter from there as well. They don't accept children there - you can like it or not, but we really enjoy our time when there is no kids playing around or screaming, so that,s a big plus from us ;)

Bed sheets seemed pretty old, pillows were not too comfortable, we were losing wifi signal a couple of times.

I enjoyed the balcony in front of the room, the bigger one with smaller chairs. De women of the reception are very kind, friendly and helpful, doing their best to make the stay comfortable. If something is not right, just let them know and they will find a solution. This is a perfect place if you want to stay in a quiet place very close to nature, accepting what this will bring you. Daily visit of a monkey family, do not feed them and don't leave anything on the balcony, but just enjoy and watch them. I enjoyed the nightly sounds of the many frogs in the small ponds in front of the rooms. I enjoyed my two weeks stay a lot.

Some rooms, balconies can use some maintenance, like the wooden floors, stairs and bamboo shields

T star is a such a peaceful place to stay surrounded by nature and its sounds. The monkeys are regular visitors and there’s lots of frogs in the many ponds. It is simple and rustic and there’s no hot water but that’s a treat in this level of heat. The ladies on reception are the best, absolutely lovely, kind and so helpful. The buildings are a little ‘tired’ but that kind of adds to its charm. It’s perfectly located opposite a lovely beach and away from the busy area of Cenang but very cheap to get there in a Grab if you want more choice of bars and restaurants for dinner. We loved it here! Thank you

The staff is very polite and helpful. This place is just an oasis of peace and quiet. Just a pure calmness enters your body once you enter the gate. Very close to the beach and nice restaurants. I booked 5 days extra, because it’s just a really nice and good vibe here. Obviously it’s not a 5-star hotel, but honestly it’s really good price- quality wise! I would recommend bringing earplugs and a sleeping mask if you are a light sleeper, since the houses are not sound/light proof.

Like if I were to think of 1 thing, while booking it wasn’t clear to me that the bottom houses didn’t have any airconditioning but just a fan.

The location was amazing and I love that between all these resorts on Langkawi places like this exist where you can be more connected to the nature. Some people do not like it but I can not understand them. I think it is amazing to see monkeys ( I saw the makake and the leaf monkeys) roaming in the nature of this cottage and all the frogs in the ponds it is very beautiful.

The bed sheets are sadly wayyy to warm. I advise taking the frottee ones off

Nice bungalows in pretty garden. Farihah, the lady at reception, was very friendly and helpful. Motorbike rental worked out fine.

Some garbage thrown about the garden was not removed. No moskito screens for doors and windows.

Personally the location is fantastic for me… few mins walk to Tengah beach, couple mins bike ride to Cenang, some shops and restaurants within walking distance just enough to cover the basics, and the sound of the animals during the night (the frogs go nuts!) - overall, a fantastic place! Shout out to Fariha, Bella, Anis and NaDeela and Mama’ at the shop for making my stay so welcoming! They are very valuable assets to this property and will go out of their way to help you out :)

There are some mosquitoes during sunrise and sunset but I soon got used to them - apart from that, everything was great!

The property was really cool, in nature and a great bathroom and comfy bed!

We didn’t see any staff the whole time because of a ‘self-service’ style of operating but then kept getting messages from the property asking us to pay… the desk is only open 9-5 so if you need to rent a motorbike, or pay, or anything it has to be in those hours. Not handy for us as we were often out early and back late.

Staff was super friendly it was very calm and quiet there you can hear frogs all night
