Everything other than the comfort of the bed made the stay easy and comfortable.
The bed was a box springs, room 203 and not a mattress. I was traveling into Mexico City evening and out the next to pick up a puppy, so I wasn't in a position to be picky. It was acceptable for my situation, but would not have worked for a couple to relax and stay more than a day. If the bed would've been comfortable, then it would have been a perfect stay for the price. This is not a top tier hotel, but I felt like I got a great value for the price and location. It was really just the comfort of the bed that was not as expected.

Premises are attractive and comfortable. There's a nice shaded sitting area with large table inside a private courtyard. Rooms are simple but comfortable. Bed was pretty good. The staff is efficient, capable and helpful, friendly. There's a communal kitchen area with refrigerator, coffee and water. I was able to walk to Terminal 1 in about 10 minutes (to United Int'l counter for bag drop in less than 20) which was pretty great. The neighborhood has a lot of amenities -- street food, small stores and restaurants very close by.
I had no issues. Even the communal bathrooms were solid, had showers

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The place is very humble and simple and for a layover stay it was great. Super close to terminal 1 and I would have loved to try some of the food around the place, but I didn’t have cash. They offered tea, coffee, water to drink and had hand soap and body wash in the shower. The shower was quite warm if I didn’t turn up the pressure too much.
I needed to either take a bus or taxi from terminal 2 to this accommodation. You need cash to take the bus to terminal 1. It’s a great option and it’s only 25 pesos. I should have done my more research before about this before I arrived. This is my bad.

The staff at Casita del Arbol were very friendly and helpful. It is an easy walk from Airport terminal 1, Gate 5. Just use the over-pass to cross the road, turn right, walk up the road two blocks (passed the food stalls) then turn left. You can get great fresh fruit juice from one of the stalls, from very friendly local people and a good price. The Casita has a big, clean kitchen with free tea and coffee. There are nice, light seating areas for guests to relax. If you ask, they might be able to store your luggage the following day if you have a late flight.
The bed was very hard and the pillows were not soft either! The floor of our little room sloped a little, but we slept ok. we were offered extra blankets if needed (they weren't).

The location was 2 blocks from the bridge that connects with the airport. The kitchen had a giant fridge/freezer that was clear, clean and tidy. A micro wave for reheating A coffee and hot water machines were availabe with powdered milk and sugar. Cleaning staff made sure that the kitchen was clean and all was washed with soap. The bethroom/toilet was clean and had piping hot water from the start.
The rooms were very small. Just enough passage to walk by the bed. The walls were thin, so could hear any person talking at night. Not nice when your neighbour arrives at 1.00am.

I booked this place to be near the airport as the pods in the terminal were too expensive. It was very near terminal 1, just over the pedestrian bridge for the sky train and a block or so away. There was a very welcoming host who showed me in and sorted everything out immediately as soon as I buzzed at the gate. There was comfortable public areas and a functional kitchen. The place was silent at night. The room was clean, modest and functional. The bed was very comfortable. I was only there for a few hours between flights but had a great, well appreciated shower and nap.
I can imagine some people feeling intimidated because of the dishevelled appearance of the neighbourhood. But at night it was pretty quiet and I didn't feel threatened by anyone.

It is super close to the airport and only a 5 min walk which is perfect if you're staying only one night to bridge time between two flights. Also, I was picked up from the airport which was super lovely, especially as it was already later in the evening and thus dark outside. So I felt quite safe walking to the place. Also everyone was super friendly and helpful. The room was ok, very small and my luggage had just enough space, but for one night thats's totally fine.
The room was very light-hearing. So without earplugs I wouldn't have been able to sleep. Wit earlplugs it went pretty well though.

We are adventurous/experienced travelers, so we knew what to expect. This is a simple but very clean and accommodating hotel. We booked it because other travelers said you could walk to the hotel from the MEX airport (yes, terminal 1 across the walkway and a couple blocks up!). If you arrive at Terminal 2 (typical), then take the 3rd-floor train (ask or look for signes) over to Terminal 1), It was exactly what we expected for the price. If simple, but clean is OK for you, then this is a good overnight airport stay OR, if I was going to visit Mexico City on a budget, then I would consider staying here. I'm guessing you can around the city with public transport at the airport being so close, but because we just did a layover, I didn't explore these options.
No complaints.

I booked this place because it was so close to the airport and it was perfectly fine. The walk from terminal 1 is just 5 minutes, my flight arrived at terminal 2 though, but just a 10 minute busride will bring you to the other side of the airport. I was a little lost on where to find it, but there is a gate in front of the hotel, so when i rang their bell they immediatly opened. Their housenumber is clearly displayed on the wall next to the gate, so thats how i knew i was at the right adress. They have a nice frontgarden where i defenitly would have chilled if it wasn’t just a short stay of 1 night. The neighbourhood is filled with streetfood stands and i had the most elaborate and delicious breakfast just a block away from the hotel. So great location! This was exactly what i wanted for such a short layover and i have to say the staff are incredibly friendly and kind and helpful. Big plus to that!
The room was really small, so don’t expect anything fancy. My neighbours were having sex though and unfortunately i could hear everything through the wall and the wall also bounced with them. So just make sure you have good earplugs and that you know the walls are thin.

We only stayed there for a night. The staff especially Daniel are super friendly, kind and helpful!! They let us check in at 5am, the time we arrived in Mexico. We also checked out at 12pm but they let us hang out in the garden until we could move on to the next destination! The place is very clean and beautiful! The kitchen facilities are a bit old and the room was very small but if you are staying there only for a sleep it's perfect as It's very close to the airport
