The location of the property was fabulous. The pool, the view, the beach and the ability to go diving through the third-party vendor on site was wonderful.

The only drawback was the food. I have stayed at Park Royal in the past, 10 years ago to be exact. I remember the food being exceptional. This time I was surprised at how mediocre the food was. Breakfast was probably the best.

The staff was excellent and made you feel at home. The breakfasts were also very nice. It was my first time in an all inclusive but overall it was a great experience.

At the entrance there is hotel staff that tries to sell you experiences. In my opinion they use conversation methods out of a sales book. For example we were going to dive with the local diving school and they tried to let us cancel and book with the hotel. I didn't like that.

Loved the beach area, great are for swimming and snorkeling or just laying around enjoying the sun.

Air conditioning in room was hard to control a proper temperature .

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was amazing! The food was awful and the AC didn’t work very well. Everything thing was so clean wherever you went on thr property and the staff would go above and beyond friendly!

Get new chefs every restaurant and buffet was not good. But at least they always had fresh fruit and salad bars that kept us going!

Great location and everything you could need is on the resort. Jorge helped us book our excursions and we really enjoyed those too. He is wonderful at his job. Great gluten free options - as someone with celiac disease I ate very well. The Italian restaurant has gluten free pasta if I couldn’t eat anything in the buffet the chef made me some grilled chicken and veggies

The property was nice and pretty. Our room was good had a nice view.

Food was not good, the buffet didn’t have too much too offer and the lines to go into a restaurant were horrible. We had to wait more than an hour to seat down and then we were ordering and they had ran out of the majority in the menu. Horrible, Horrible experience with the food. I suggest they replan the lines for the breakfast. There’s other ways scan a barcode to order your omelettes instead of having a line of people in the way of others try to serve themselves some food. They need more varieties of food especially for kids. I saw so many kids not eat.

We love the staff and the resort in general. it’s a beautiful resort with great ocean views. we absolutely adore the staff. they are the reason we were back this year.

The food is the biggest downfall to this resort. the price has increased significantly since we have started coming and the food continues to go down hill. We have been to this resort probably 7-8 times and sadly this will probably be our last. Its just gotten too expensive to have to go into town every night for a good meal.

Great stuff, friendly and professional. The beds are comfortable. The food is good, especially the fruit. The most memorable was the Mayan performance. It was the best resort performance I've ever seen!

There is no beach. The tiny access filled up with people, there were not a chair available and the strip is located by the dock, so I wouldn't be swimming anyway. Our coffee in the room never got replaced.

Location is just down the street from some fun shopping. The beach was always beautiful. It was clean and every day we were there, there was always staff out cleaning, trimming trees, etc. Loved LOVED our nature view. We still had an ocean view, but the walk through the trees and nature was one of my favorite parts about the resort. Every night after dinner we played games in the front lobby (card or board games). They never complained or asked us to move, even when our little ones were running circles around our big table and chairs. All staff was friendly and accommodating.

Not a fan of the food. Any of it, but for it being included, I ate what I thought I could enjoy. Hard to explain, but I just ate plain or boxed stuff when available, or ate at the hamburger shack by the pool. For the price though, I got over it. My family didn’t complain, I heard others complain, but everyone’s pallet is different.

Everything! we were a group of 4 adults and 6 kids. We had a great relaxing time. There’s no need to leave the resort. They have two pools with swim up bars. You can snorkel right there at their beach access. The water is clear. We saw sting ray, eel, and tons of fish. My youngest (6) loved that he could swim up to the pool bar he could order a drink all by himself. The staff are great, very helpful. The whole place is very clean.

the food is so so, but we aren’t use to Mexican style food so really can’t say. The buffet had a variety of options for all meal times. The Italian restaurant had was the best. The snack bar by the pool has nachos and cheeseburgers, and hot dogs from like 12-6.
