All restaurants were on the beach. Staff was very friendly. Smaller, more intimate club. Excellent diving access. No need to reserve restaurants. No limit on restaurant visits. Buffet seemed small in comparison, but was very good.

Limited access to certain areas for "preferred" guests only. Most resorts include all those services as a part of the all inclusive offer. Came across as cheap and opportunistic. Would have been better to simply charge all guest a few dollars more and made it all accessible to all.

Review. We are just finishing 6 nights and it has been amazing. Yes, there are details that need to be fixed, but we have thoroughly loved our time in the beautiful place. The staff was amazing, working so hard to keep everyone happy. We enjoyed the entertainment across the three resorts. We loved each one of our dinners, especially trying the places at Dreams. We rested, we enjoyed our time together, we sat and watched amazing sunsets and incredible beach views. Overall, we loved our time and are truly thankful to the staff of Secrets Aura for their care.

Our only small complaint was with other guests who are so demanding and impatient towards the staff that they make themselves miserable and bother those around them trying to enjoy this relaxing place.

The room was brilliant with a great view. We did have a leak from the air-conditioning unit which was not fixed in the 2 nights we stayed but it wasn’t too much of a problem as didn’t spend much time in the room. We were preferred guests but preferred the main pool area and got quicker service there. We saw stingray, crabs, barracuda and many fish when snorkelling off the beach. The restaurants were great, can’t complain about the food. There are a few tired areas that can do with renovating but overall the hotel was exactly what we needed for a few days of relaxation.

A couple of the staff in the preferred area were rude and when we asked questions such as where do you get fresh beach towels, or we have a leak in our bedroom, we were made to feel like we were a problem and they didn’t want to help.

Market side had a lot to offer for breakfast.

There were not enough options for meals, With some restaurants being for preferred guests only. You don’t have enough restaurants to make some off-limits. I would never spend seven days there again. Maybe Four.

Location and employees, food was good and the service was exceptional. Rooms are large in size with great views. The grounds and plants are awesome.

Needs more entertainment after the dinner. I would like to see live music in the coco cafe area or sky bar after dinner every night. The food portions are small at the restaurants but very delicious and well prepared. We have stayed here before and plan to stay longer on the next visit. The portions of food had improved from previous visits.

Swimming is absolutely delightful. Highly recommend 3-4 hours scooter tour around the island.

Hotel is getting older and needs continuous maintenance. Water entry mostly blocked by stones (dead corals). Entry passages could be easily cleaned in 3-5 locations. Would be good to have an option to make reservations for the restaurants

1) Gym too old and not as advertised 2) swimming pool too old and not as advertised 3) Beach had too many rocks and was dangerous 4) Not enough preferred sun beds (having to go there at 6am in the morning to find a sunbed) 5) Preferred lounge was terrible: old, crusty food, no atmosphere and did not feel preferred at all - the worst preferred lounge I have ever been to. 6) Gohan Sushi Restaurant closed and we were not informed before we booked nor on arrival

First time staying at an all inclusive, and I get the draw now! The resort is well equipped and well maintained. The food is really good, and the fact that its available 24/7 is great. Really enjoyed the beach, the pier, the pools, and the bars. The property has an approachable level of luxe, and the longer we stayed the longer we wanted to stay. The views and water temp are just unbeatable. But the real gem here is the amazing entertainment team! Johnny and his team are so committed to making every guest feel special and have fun, it was so wholesome and enjoyable to see. From pool games to kayaking to water aerobics- the guy just does not stop. He gave the illusion of single handledly keeping the party going all day and night for everyone, and we were just so impressed. On the hospitality side, every bar tender we encountered was genuine and generous, and Israel made our dining experience at Bordeaux so great, especially being that we had a birthday in our party. Our rooms were kept very well, and room service was reliable and delicious. Thank you Secrets team, you do a really great job.

The reviews stating that the interiors are a bit aged are true, but for us it did not detract at all from our experience. The humidity makes things a bit damp, and of course the island foliage and sand etc will be around, its not a big deal.

The setting is absolutely perfect if you have an ocean view. Beautiful sunsets! Very courteous staff. Comfortable room with roomy balcony. The sushi restaurant was the stand out. The wine list is also extensive and very good. Nice pools and an amazing water aerobics leader named Heidi who May be the most positive person I’ve ever seen.

Slammed with a hard core sell on arrival to “become a member “ which I didn’t know was coming. Very annoying but you don’t have to go to the appointment the next day. The food was rather pedestrian and often not really hot. We like conserving on vacation and cards in the room indicated that if you left your towels hanging then they wouldn’t be exchanged. New towels every day. I even leaned the note on my hanging towel.

The atmosphere, the staff, the location was absolutely amazing.
